Resident Evil 5. (Xbox 360)
God of War 3.

That's probably my entire list until Nintendo shows me something for the Wii. From what I played of RE5 at E3 this will be awesome for co-op play.

same here unless i hear bad things about them both are what im waiting for the most. gonna add ico 3 since someone else mentioned it. didnt realize it was coming out in 09.

Maybe nothing. Maybe Call of Duty 6. Otherwise I'll just continue waiting for stuff to drop or be available on Goozex.

Wow never heard of Muramasa until now. I loved odin sphere. Might this be the first wii game i buy since SSBB? Maybe. Its coming to america right?
 
Probably Sin & Punishment 2. Most likely I will end up regretting it, thus, losing all remaining hope for the Wii :eek:(
 
I'll try to buy very little on day 1. Maybe Legends of Wrestlemania, depending on the previews and who ends up on the remaining roster.

If FFXIII or Versus XIII hit this year, probably those.

Other than that, I can wait two weeks to buy it used for $45 or, if it's an Ubisoft title, wait 2 weeks for the $39.99 MSRP drop. ;)

Any BIG Sony exclusive coming in '09, Sonic's Sega Genesis Collection, and maybe Street Fighter 4 (depending on how good reviews are).
 
Just Skate 2 for me to be honest. I don't buy games real often on the release date. The last game which I did buy on its release was GTA IV and that's pretty much it.
 
Not Behemoth's next game, certainly. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the only 'day one, regardless of reviews' buy so far. I have my eye on a bevy of games, like, for instance, Alpha Protocol.
 
I think my only definite Day 1 buys are Fire Emblem DS and Little King Story. After that I'll be attempting to stick to my policy of not buying anything till beating something, so it'll depend on timing.

Edit: Er, unless LKS is actually pushed back to May which would piss me off. In which case it would be replaced by MadWorld.
 
No one's mentioned Killzone 2 specifically! Don't know if I'll day one buy cause that's not my thing, but it's my most anticipated game of 09.

The only Day One buys I made last year were Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Mario Kart Wii. I knew exactly what I could expect from both of them well before release.

This year, I can't think of anything (so far) that I'd be that interested in. Maybe Ghostbusters, but I've got a feeling I'm going to hold off until reviews and impressions here hit before I buy.

These are the only guaranteed launch buys for me right now. I'm sure there'll be more once details are released.
 
Well for the first few months, the only two definitely day 1 buys for me are SF4 and RE5. Others would be Punch Out Wii (unless it royally sucks) and God of War 3
 
Final Fantasy XIII, if it actually hits the USA this year (I think early to mid 2010 is more likely). It'll probably sell me a new console too.
 
COD6 and hopefully Diablo 3 and Starcraft. Other than that, I'm gonna wait for deals, games have been dropping very quickly as of late.
