If you were in the beta that sent out the disc of Reach awhile back, check your email.

The disc can't get title updates so Microsoft sent out Games on Demand codes for another copy :D - Just got mine

"Earlier this year, you participated in the Xbox LIVE Public Preview program and were provided a copy of Halo: Reach as part of your participation. Unfortunately, this Halo: Reach “preview disc” cannot be updated with a conventional Title Update, causing the game to be unplayable after the recent Halo: Reach Title Update on September 21, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

To get you back online with Halo: Reach, below is a code for the Games on Demand version of the game. Once the code is redeemed and your copy of Halo: Reach is downloaded, the game will work as usual, including the features added by the title update. All of your Halo Reach game saves will work normally as well. You may then discard the disc from the Public Preview program"

Too many copies of Reach.... So little time...

When the game came out I bought 2 copies of Reach so my brother (or whomever comes over) and I could play on 2 seperate TVs. I then bought a copy of the Legendary edition when it went down to $40. Follow that up by having a friend pay me back the $15 he owed me by giving me his copy of Reach he doesn't play. Top it off with the Preview Disc and now this GoD code. I believe I may have a few too many copies of Reach.
Just put in the disc... might have to wait
that has nothing to do with getting the email. I haven't played Reach in a few months.

Yeah I got this and I don't think I have played reach since they sent me the disc. This is nice though since I gave away my retail copy :D
got mine, anyone want to trade for it?
I'll give u a recon helmet code or a 48-hr code lol, its all i have.:D

I actually sold my old Reach copy when Microsoft said they were sending me the preview disc. I never did receive the disk, so this is good news to me.

Yeah I got one too. Unfortunately my xbox RROD'd on me last week - so if anyone wants to trade for something PS3-related please PM me.

Got mine! Now I've got my retail disc, a downloaded copy, and the now-defunct preview disc. You know, though...that preview disc still works fine if you're not signed into Xbox Live. Just sayin...

Note, the preview disc still works, just clear your cache if you've already downloaded the update, you just can't play it online, full single player though.

Was very surprised by this. I gave the beta disc to a friend who doesn't even have Gold so he won't use it for matchmaking (so it doesn't affect him) because I actually already had the retail version. Might be time to trade that in.

I got mine and used the code right away. Should've thought about trading it before I downloaded, because I played the hell out of game months ago. Haha, oh well.

I got one today. Not sure if Im going to use it yet.

Is there expected to be more DLC released? If more DLC is coming I want to keep it but if theres no more DLC I will probably never play it again.

Just got mine, Microsoft is extremely nice with their beta-testers, I didn't expect that. Bad thing for me - I am not a Halo fan, but this is just my issue, I am happy for those who enjoys the game

Would anyone like amazon credit for their code? I have never played a halo game in my life and would like to try it.

edit: got a copy :)

I know this isn't a trade/for sale/wtb thread, but since I saw all the posts of people wanting to get rid of their Reach copies, is anyone going to throw up a physical retail disc version of Reach soon? If so please contact me, and to stay on topic, I can't believe I missed out on the beta when it was up for grabs :(

I just got my code as well. I'm willing to give it up for $15 Amazon Credit though, since I don't really play Reach anymore.
