So Sony is giving us Darkstalkers this month on PS+ for the Vita.

About time they do. Here I was thinking they wouldn't ever give us a fighting game for us Vita owners.

Bleehhhhh can't sleep....they gave BlazBlue and that Tekken game away for free before, I don't think I really like playing fighters on the Vita though :/

 
I'm more used to a nub/stick for fighting over a d-pad just from using it more, and I still think the buttons on the Vita are too small, which I don't like at all for fighters, so while I can get used to the pad the buttons aren't for me. Plus I'd rather play a fighter on the big screen if I have the option :p

Just did a physical game check. I'm down to 29 in the backlog including handheld titles. If I'm being honest there's probably a handful of games in that 29 that can be dumped before playing. We'll see. My backlog is bigger with my digital games that I bought and PS Plus but I'm trying to start the cleanup for next gen so the more physical stuff that goes the better. I can always play the digital stuff later as I'm sure next gen won't pick up for a little while or we'll have a lull. What I really need to do is man up and finish off some of the old games like Brave Fencer Musashi, Soul Reaver, Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Fable, Super Mario Sunshine, and Wind Waker (Damn BC, haha). The good part is I at least feel like I might be able to somewhat clear the decks for next gen.

I started on God Of War III, didn't play much at all yet though. The opening was pretty cool.

I can't imagine I'll even start it since I haven't even beat Graces, Vesperia, Legendia, Destiny, and Eternia yet.

On a side note, I stopped playing Destiny because fuck the high random encounter chance in that game.

and the story is decent enough to get you through 'kay

and there aren't usually any...

Both of those games were pretty fun.

Also I played it on PS3 so the kay thing isn't something I had to deal with.

It's not TWC per se, it's CBS. ALL TV and service providers get hit every time their carriage contracts expire with the individual content companies. Trust me, changing your service provider has zero affect on stopping CBS from doing the exact same thing to the next cable, dish, or Internet TV service in the queue.

 
I like how it has fell to the level of the two companies playing advertisements that basically just shit talk each other. I don't really care for it either way, I don't watch much CBS. The only downside is for me is that Texas Rangers games on Friday nights are on a CBS affiliate so I am relegated to listening to the game on the radio. I bet all those people that love Big Brother are pissed, haha. 

 
In Hawaii, the CBS broadcast channel is not affected, only Sho/TMC and a few other "pay" ones.  CBS started the publicity stunting by releasing a press statement asking viewers to tell TWC not to take the channels off the air, and as much as I'm trying not side with the "big bad cable company", CBS was clearly the ones trying to get the cable company to cave in to their rate hike.  There is very little way for cable companies not to pass any price increases down to the consumer.  It's like any for-profit business really.  All costs get passed on the customer, from taxes to supply chain costs etc etc.  I'm pretty sure TWC is well aware how high their prices already are and didn't want to be forced to increase prices if they didn't need to.

I'm fully aware of that... but TWC is a horrible service provider... for what they charge and what they give me, it's ridiculous. Everything is like... just passable enough for them to get away with it. If they had some competition, like FiOS or Uverse, I'd be gone in an instant. I could pay the same price and get better service all around (I've researched it).

With all that said, TWC is constantly having these tiffs with broadcast channels. After putting up with their bullshit regarding NFL Network for 8 years and having them to be the last service provider to finally offer it, I feel like I'm being held hostage when this shit happens and I'll gladly blame them, not CBS in this case. :p
