GGT 259: Girls, Girls Girls, but where dem boys at Skullgirls?!

I can't even name a game he's done that's really made any money. It's amazing he's still in the Industry.
Being a cult classic director gets you that kind of pull. He's like the Sam Raimi of video games. He's just looking for his Spider-Man.

Maaaan, I think I'mma look up the cucuy.

Sounds like you just have fat thumbs.

Have you thought about going on a thumb diet?
Nah! We are all on a gaming thread, our thumbs should all obviously be some of the best around.

I can't imagine I'll even start it since I haven't even beat Graces, Vesperia, Legendia, Destiny, and Eternia yet.

On a side note, I stopped playing Destiny because fuck the high random encounter chance in that game.
I'm right there with you, I'm still getting Xillia but I need to beat the older ones as well, want to support the series but just have way too many games haha.

It never gets as bad as that 'kay

for the most part the characters are really respectable 'kay

and the story is decent enough to get you through 'kay

and there aren't usually any...

...

...long pauses 'kay

and I still stand behind last story not being terrible 'kay
I agree with this guy, even with all those 'kays

Both of those games were pretty fun.

Also I played it on PS3 so the kay thing isn't something I had to deal with.

Power to the players.
I didn't play it on PS3 but it didn't bug me nearly as much as anybody here, Voice acting (while I may not like some of it) never really gets on my nerves, I do agree that both of the games were enjoyable though.

Preordered obviously.

And Amazon Prime.

Power to the Players!
Yep!

That poor kid is running for his life while his mother laughs at him forever scaring him.
Basically, poor fellow

I expect everyone of you to be playing Tales of Xillia tomorrow or at least buy it tomorrow.
Play it, probably not....buy it? Most definitely.

LOL Truth! But yeah it's his reputation, the respect he's earned, the time he's put into this industry. That kind of thing is important in Japan.

Cleared out my 360 backlog, but building up my 3DS one.

Grabbed the Brain Age Sudoku and Mario Golf from Club Nintendo with coins, and impulse bought the original Zelda.  Only mainline Zelda I have never finished aside from Spirit Tracks which I hated and gave up on.

Action, Leda needs to be critiqued.

She is actually who I want the most at this point.
I know that's what every body thinks it's going to be since the hints that have been given are The Cars and Upside-Down, so obviously it's the Fresh Prince, I mean comon guys, he gets in a CAB (car) and has his whole world flipped-turned UPSIDE-DOWN, plus Warner Brothers works with the licensings for both of these universes, it all makes sense.

Winter in TLoU is insane! Finally loving this game. But I hope this doesn't turn into a "you were the real monster all along!" sort of ending.

So if Zatanna doesn't get announced next week then fuck Injustice 'kay
Its gonna be Swamp Thang bro. Didn't you watch the NRS stream on twitch like 2 weeks ago? I dont care anymore who they announce since I finally got my Manhunter and now the JLA is complete!

Winter was an amazing month. That was the month where I went, "Shit, this game is great."
I was already loving it, but that is where it definitely went from great game to classic game for me.

Unrelated, this GBC Mario Golf game is addictive as shit....

Agree 100%. I haven't played The Last Story but I love S04 (haven't finished it yet). The English language voice acting was gross, but I also have the PS3 version and just use the Japanese voices.

The two new Divinity games seem pretty cool. One is a RTS that takes inspiration from Starcraft 2's campaign system and combines it with Risk and cards and kingdom management and stuff. Also, you can turn into a dragon with a jetpack. The other one is an old-school cRPG like the kind Crotch generally loves.

These games are unlike the current Divinity 2 game I'm playing which is extremely lulzy and not in the good 2Worlds2 way. In fact, I'm so not interested in it right now that I'm not even currently playing it anymore as of this moment.

I miss Crotch.

Dragon's Crown Jetpack.

Interesting, I am also currently playing Divinity 2 but I am actually having a lot of fun with it, there's actually quite a lot to do in the game and more stuff keeps unlocking. I might try out the new ones sometime when they are cheaper.

The RTS comes out this week and the cRPG is barely in Alpha, but it has a release date for this year I believe.

A lot of the movement and interface in Divinity 2 just feels very...gross? I don't know. I guess clunky is a better word. I only got out of the tutorial town so I didn't play a lot. There were no Ledas like you promised and that dismayed me greatly.

I will agree that the movement takes some getting used to, you get better jumping when some of the Dragon stuff happens and then you can fly later on as well which is helpful, the Dragon parts are really fun. Leda is in the first Bandit Camp that you have to get into with a password, so make sure you go in there and do the quests/talk to everyone instead of getting the Bandits killed or there will be no Leda for you.

The new games do look pretty interesting though, just not at that price it's at currently haha

The upside down "The More You Know" clue made me think it was going to the White Lantern (Kyle, Sinestro, whoever they want in the game) because it had all of the colors with the white in the middle, but after looking at the other clues I think Boone is just fucking with everybody. If they had the Fresh Prince in the game I would no doubt be playing him 24/7.

He's going to be co-oping with me, brah.

Does anyone even really play Injustice? I mean....
Uraizen and I play. Not all that often, but when we do we crack skulls.

Yeah, I was reading about this earlier last night and was not really surprised. That stupid Russian countdown site for the game popped up like 2 weeks ago and though I thought it was a hoax, I guess it could be real.

I miss Crotch, too. He needs to get back soon.

I do every once in awhile with my friend, of course I have it on 360 though.

Haha yeah he could just be messing with people since Boon is known to do that, I guess we will all just have to wait and see though, and I agree with you about making the Fresh Prince my main if he would show up in the game, I mean, I had to dig deep to come to that conclusion with the clues he give so it has to be the answer!

Boon really does mess with people. He's kind of a troll sometimes.

If the joel the comic book nerd dictionary over here doesn't know the clues no one will.
Some people have better ideas about it than I do. It looks like it's between Swamp Thing and Zatanna after looking at all of the compiled clues. Some of that shit was downright obscure. I've been on the Internet for more than a decade now and I'm still surprised by how good it is at figuring this shit out sometimes.

That's putting it lightly, we beat the shit out of each other.
We really do. We need to play more often!

TLoU is still great.

I'm stoked for Killer is Dead because I was apparently the one dude on the planet who still had fun with Chainsaw. I had more fun with that one than I did SotD. Still enjoyed em both.

I play Injustice halfheartedly. Maybe three quarters-heartedly.

Dragon's Crown.

Chipp, May, Potemkin and Venom confirmed for new GG. I'll get hype by myself.

I'm excited to check out a new GG game -- since the port of GGACXX+r didn't have GGPO and ran like ass online (from what I heard).

And I think the only game of Suda51's I've beaten was SotD and I don't have a great opinion of that one. If Sine Mora counts as a Suda51 game (Grasshopper Manufacture made it, I think?), then I do actually like a Suda51 game!

Only Suda game I have played is Killer 7. Where da hell be my HD verz?

Been super busy the last couple weeks, but still pluggin away at MGS 3. The survival stuff is kinda lame, but otherwise the stealth and action is tight. I like the camo system.

The survival stuff in MGS3 is perfect.

Man, dental work is fucking expensive. I almost want to be a dentist to make money to pay for my own dental work. Blech.

Since getting my Nook a week ago I've read 400 issues of various comics and half of the first GoT book. I think I need some game time now, so I think I'll take a break from reading.

Traded the 360 250gb into GameStop. Got $140 for it, $20.15 for the extra wireless controller and $4.55 for the wired headset.

Got Fire Emblem Awakening (and will get the $30 Eshop credit since I bought an SMT IV code for $15 and registered that already), Bioshock Infinite for PS3 and $75 in Amazon gift cards I'll put on my PS4 preorder.

Ended up owing 28 cent which was great as I didn't want to leave a balance since I seldom shop at GameStop, or end up owing more out of pocket.

Pretty happy with the value since there are tons on Craigslist it my city going for the same or less depending on if games are included.

Played a ton of Mario Golf last night and some this morning. Damn fun for an old GBC game
