Or Dragon's Crown?
On that note, I was playing DC on my Vita before bed and my wife glanced over and asked why there was a "sexy pixie" flying around. I thought, if that's bothering her... sexy pixie is probably the least of her worries. Then again, I'm playing as the nearly naked Dwarf anyway.
She's jealous of the sexy pixie, clearly.

I dislike how they throw in a few games that haven't been bundled with a lot that have. AFAIK, 6 of the 10 have been bundled in the past year, or given away free in the past year. Bundles can be bought on the cheap now, and I'm not really feeling $5 (+ conversion rate differences) for 4 games. Tower Wars cards are selling for ~10-15 cents.
If bundlestars had Groupees' build a bundle format, I'd probably make a lot more purchases from them.

Some real gems in there. MDK & MDK 2 are both fantastic games, for what i've heard the HD remake of MDK 2 is quite good (it was done by the same guys who made Baldur's Gate HD). Sacrifice is IMO on the best RTS games ever made and a very underrated gem. However i don't know how this games run on modern machinery and how updated the Steam versions are since i own the GOG ones.

Earthworm Jim is one of the best plataformers ever made. But again i can't comment on the quality of the Steam version cause i own the HD remake for the PS3 and the old Win95 version that i got when i was a kid. For what i've read the GOG version of EJ is by far the worst one compared with their counterparts, while you get the music of the Sega CD/Win 95 versions and the backgrounds from the SNES you also get clunky controls and missing levels.
From what I've read on the Steam forums, it might be better to buy the original MDK2 (doesn't surprise me, most people say to buy the original Baldur's Gate as well). There are some graphical bugs for certain AMD GPUs, and another bug that doesn't let you customize the controls. I don't think the game has had any updates on Steam to correct the issues.

I say buy the HD version. Only hipsters play that old shit

Yep, apparently they released updates for the version they sell on their Website but not for the one on Steam.

Imo, by the numbers is evaluating a bundle the wrong way. I just identify the games I'm interested in and evaluate on that.
This. Though I'll also give some consideration for potential trade/sale value of the ones I'm not interested in. Generally, however, that doesn't amount to much.

AirBuccaneers: Got screwed on the beta version in another bundle.. /rage-against
Wait, what? AirBuccaneers was only in two bundles that I know of, and I'm pretty sure neither of them were beta only. The confusingly similar Guns of Icarus did have the beta, and only the beta, available in a bundle, though.

Most slept-on profile background ^^

Hmm, people on Reddit and GOG are saying really good things about Sacrifice. Apparently, it's got some well known voice actors like Tim Curry. Price history seems to indicate this is the cheapest it has been to date on Steam though it has been $2.99 on GOG.

The question is: do the steam version works on newer systems?

It's an excellent game -- for once Reddit shows good taste.
Well, we've figured out what games Mooby doesn't hate. The less polygons the game has, the more he likes it! Dark, muddy graphics are also a prerequisite.

Scooped Super House of Dead NInjas today, games plays well with an arcade stick.
I'm really enjoying that game. My favorite part is that even though it's a Roguelike-like you get to keep the upgrades you unlock after you die, so you aren't exactly starting from scratch all over again. There's at least a sense of progression.

That's when I got it too. I played it by March and I'm happy with the deal I got.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever play it again. I ran into a nasty bug in Awakening where all my equipment was lost (they take it from you and are supposed to return it at the end of the dungeon). That cut my 70-80 hour quest short and that was already my second playthrough, so I'm not sure if I'll ever return to it. Maybe I'll do Leliana's Song at some point since it's a separate story and your main game save doesn't affect it in any way.
Is that bug still present? One reason I like games going into backlog is that by the time I play them, all the bugs will be worked out with relevant patches (theoretically). Also, any mods will be finished by then too. If this specific bug is still out there, mind throwing a spoiler tag my way with the start point so I can create a separate save file?

It's still there, I'm fairly sure. There's an easy way to get around it if you look it up, but if it happened to you already, I'm pretty sure you're screwed.

As with most newer Bioware stuff, there are issues and they make pretty much no effort to fix anything. There's a memory leak issue in Denerim too, I've heard (which is why high res textures there caused issues).

It's still the far superior version of the game though (I have it and have played most of it on 360 too), and it's not near as buggy as a whole lot of other things. Great modding support too. One of the best RPGs of all time, hands down.

About the best for her (IMO) was when she was in "The Creep" just cause her whole video section in that was goofy as fuck (necrophilia, anybody?). Once again I don't listen to much pop songs (spoiler for why, read at own discretion)
I seriously hate songs always about booze, being gamgsta, how much swag you have, or sex, conveyed with suh simplistic lyrics there's no guessing to it. It feels like a porn poem that doesn't feel well thought. Why the hell would someone enjoy porn poems? Anywho, I just love digging into lyrics that seem meaningless and finding the true meaning, hence why most rap/pop/hip hop/ appeals to me, let alone the horrid sound that some of them make with pitch correction software :fridge:
On a related note, Just beat the game known as Sleeping Dogs. Wow that was fun! I felt like :twoguns: all the time.
Hmmm, I'm gonna have to listen to "The Creep".

Anyways, like yourself, I like digging into the lyrics and finding what the artists are really trying to say, as well.

And yeah - Sleeping Dogs was awesome. Waiting for DLC to have another 90% off or better glitch so I can go buy it all.

EDIT:

About "The Creep" - just listened to it. Yeah, NOT my favorite Nicki verse.

Hell, I even prefer her "million dollar" verse on "Tapout" w/ Rich Gang.

That's too bad about MDK2 HD.  I would have probably bit on it if the dev had the current version on steam.

Is it bad that I don't care about having Cherry Tree High Comedy on Steam (since I got the Desura key from Groupees) but kept it anyway since the cardzzz pay more than I could get selling it on its own?

Gaben bucks make me feel dirty...but I kinda like it.

Well technically you aren't supposed to sell the second key because its all one single license just a different delivery method. So its not bad at all. You are in compliance and if you sold the key you would be out of compliance.

If you think those cards pay a lot now you should have seen the crazy prices they were going for before that bundle hit.

Sadly, I did see them...

I probably should've clarified my favorite song with her in it was "The Creep", I don't have a favorite verse (not an avid listener).
That I'll also bite on a 90% mistake or similar (plus for base game) bought it at a yard sale for $5, beat it. Now to gamestop for $13.xx dollars ^_^ it is a good game, can't wait to get it for PC+ dlc.

Okay, I finally have a PC worth gaming on and have put in 50+ hours on Dota 2. Picked up XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Civ V, and reinstalled my favorite game: Grim Fandango. Time to continue building my collection of games that I haven't been able to / gotten around to playing on my PS3.

>.> It's been in my backlog for almost 3? years, since DA:OU first hit $25 on the Xmas sale... I'd meant to play it by that spring...

The road to CAG-Hell is paved with I'll play this soon.
I bought DAO Ultimate from Steam back when Steam had it for somewhere in the $10-12 ballpark.

Speaking of Morrigan...

New in-game screen from DA:I

And, an article on Morrigan from GameInformer.

Bleh IT'S A TARP!

Sorry, don't trust them no matter how much Morrigan they show.

Anyway it's going to be Origin exclusive and therefore off topic. Oh Spoder... :p

Oh and for those who backlogged DA:O and are looking to burn through their backlog be warned. It's long. Like really, really, REALLY long.

Took me over 105 hours for base game of DAO; approx. another 30 for Awakening expansion.

Can't speak on the DAO DLC yet.

So will DA:I explain why Morrigan gave up her career in the Witch of the Wild industry to become a Vampire: the Masquerade LARPer?

Maybe in the DA:I - Morrigan The Vampire Chronicles DLC's.

First one releases day of base game's release comes locked-out, but is on the disc/ships w/ digital version of the game.

Second one releases Day of base game's release and isn't on the disc - separate DL for this.

And, there will be more DLC's in this set, as well.

Might be 666, from what I hear.

Might be a Season Pass for this, as well. ;)

Expect to pay in BioWare Points. ;)

And Multiplayer and Always Online.

Seriously, don't be shocked if it has those. There's been talk for some time about multiplayer and now Bioware are making some rumblings about possibly doing the next DA game partially in the cloud.

So people don't get the wrong idea, you took a lot longer than most do. The base game is about 60 hours doing everything and Awakening about 20.

No, no, no @ CLOUD.

I am getting tired of this push of "Cloud", "Always Online", and "MMO" - this needs to stop!

Bleh @ part of DA game in the cloud. It better ONLY be any online-MP stuff. And there better NOT be tons of it.

I'll be happy if most of the game is SP and that stuff can be played offline.

I could put up with always online DRM if it significantly added to the game. For stupid Facebook features (hey, SimCity) and an achievement points system (I'm looking at you, HoMM 6)? No thanks. For a dynamic world, more content, higher resolution textures, etc? I have an open mind.

But even then... there should be an offline option with less features. At the very least, HoMM 6 is always online if you want all the features, but you can still play offline without them.

If there's most options offline, a few more options online - I'd be fine w/ that. I don't want my game years down the road to be a coaster or a paperweight b/c some company goes out of business.

I'm fine w/ Cloud Saves support - as long as game saves can be saved locally to my PC + also up to the Cloud.
