What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

I wish we had those days back. All I see is people flipping for profit now and days.

Btw... I think I am gonna go for the GameCube resident evil even though its so much. I miss that game

It all depends on the seniority of the member. Those that are here for a few months sometimes think they are entitled to things they are not. It's unfortunate how many people use this site as a means to earn profit rather than building up the community.

Just my .02 anyway.

If it gets lost in mail, I'll get accused of not mailing it.

If it doesn't work or something, you're going to be screwed and I'll be the one receiving blame.

We are several days past the deals that turned this thread into shit, and we still have people whining that they didn't get in on it.

Can you guys who want to talk about the deals from last week start another thread for that?

 
Cag used to be a gamer community, now it's just slickdeals 2.0. That's why I stop posting deals under my posting Id. And just watch. I remeber when flippers and el hordos were looked down upon. Sigh.

i always thought the premise for CAG was to manage a gaming budget. Granted trading games to each other is a great way to budget but unfortunately games can't pay for bills which is one of the main reasons why i sell on amazon or CAG. Another reason is that over the years I've pretty much acquired all the games that I want to play so there really is no choice but to sell or trade them in.

Delivery Confirmation or Tracking Info usually ensures that the package arrives but I can see where you're coming from. A delivery fuck up can happen 1 out of 100 shipments for some or the 4th package you have ever sent out in your life no matter how much insurance you put on it. With all that said, it is always best to go with what you're most comfortable with

 
What people do with the deals they get is their business. People can still help each other out and share deals, but are we really gonna blame someone for wanting more than $55+shipping for their Vita? I would gladly pay more than that for one, but I would never expect another CAG to give up that much credit just to share a deal with me. I definitely would not try to guilt another member into selling me one or put a message in my signature advertising my desire to buy another members deal.

Again, that is great if you want to help people out, but for some people, the profit we get from flipping supports our gaming habits, so a potential $150 in Amazon credit compared to $55 and helping out a member who has been here a few months or really any member at all is an easy decision for me to make. If I was making lets say $5 profit by giving something to Amazon over another member, I would help out a member. Who in here wouldn't pay $55+shipping for a Vita? Seriously?

Ah, you all are discovering what a tool that guy is. He came after me about something when his account was three weeks old. Since then, I've ignored him at all costs.

 
It's simple.  I wouldn't want others to tell me what to do with MY property, so I won't tell them what to do with theirs.

Common decency 101, people.  If someone wants to flip, let'em flip.

I got PayPal and Dwolla. I've been wanting to check out Amazon Payments but I find that most prefer others. Tracking is simple to get and as long as you send it, there's no problem. Insurance helps you rest easy.

If you do decide to sell to me, then I can walk you through a safe and easy process which is valuable in the future.

Spoke to Amazon about my order of Halo 4. I ordered it on Thursday and I have prime. It still hasn't got here so I wanted something since I do pay for prime. They end up refunding me the money for it, gave me an extension on prime and are making me keep the game as well as giving me another order of vitamins (that's also late and brought on the same day).

I just wanted $5 back or something, instead the rep gave me a bunch of extras. He even said that when they are back in stock of Halo 4, they'll send me another copy.

Now hopefully they don't just ask for a stop on the shipment and I get everything back.

Long story short, happy to be an Amazon member. Their customer service is always great!

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Amazon use UPS to deliver Prime items? And isn't UPS only a Mon-Fri service? So a 2 day order should be delivered on a Monday if ordered on a Thursday if I'm not mistaken.

Just be careful when complaining to Amazon about late orders as people have had their accounts cancelled for abusing it.

Amazon uses different carriers on two-day shipping. I've gotten UPS, FedEx, USPS and Ontrac (which is bad).

USPS isn't used as much but it happens. Just be glad when you don't get smaller carriers.

My Halo 4 and Dark Souls CE arrived from FedEx on Saturday. I have Prime.

Also, UPS will deliver on Saturday, but it's an expensive service.

They used FedEx to deliver my products. I just moved into my schools dorm and I guess they have to use FedEx since it's so many orders going to one place.

Yesterday it was suppose to ship. UPS has delivered stuff to me in the past on Saturday.

I normally don't complain. I think in my 2 years or so of using Amazon I've only complain 3 times. I wouldn't have complained if it was 3 days late but being 5+ days late is a bit out there seeing as I pay for Prime.

All depends on where it's coming from and where it's going to. I've gotten plenty of UPS shipments on Saturday, though Amazon seems to be leaning more towards FedEX for that now. :headache:

I NEVER get UPS packages on Saturdays and I have been a Prime member for more than 2 years now. Also never get packages delivered from Amazon from anyone but UPS. The UPS driver is my bro!

Problem being I only have the amazon giftcards I saved up otherwise I would. I mainly just use swagbucks and gifthulk which is basically amazon gift cards only. Thankyou for the info though.

You're not kidding broskie, I contacted them and told them about how I missed out on the $40 Vitas, I basically said that it was in my cart but I couldn't check out for some reason and was wondering if there was anything that can be done. Welp, they got back to me and they're sending me a wifi Vita for free for all the trouble this has cuased!!!! Should be here on Tuesday!!!!!11 YASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Will post pics!!!!! :bouncy:

When I had the Prime trial I got the one package at like 3-4pm on a Saturday. It was what I'm calling the 'man in a van' delivery service. All it was was a white van with no markings on it delivering the package.

Lol I just had a delivery like this on Friday and I was kind of pissed about it. My friend bought me a ps3 and they didn't even bother to knock on my door. To top it off he didn't even leave it on my porch he put it on the side of my garage. What a dicjk

Hm maybe i should contact them because I actually DID have it in my cart and then clicked check out and it was gone. I've learned my lesson since then and set up 1 click.

Not every CSR is the same and most of them will not give you anything unless it was truly Amazon's fault or the shippers fault. You not getting a deal b/c you didn't click fast enough is your own fault.

Ontrac is not bad its HORRIBLE! They Leave my packages by the garage or they throw them to my door. We should complain about them to Amazon

There is either too much trolling in this thread to the point people are deeming these convos as 'serious' or the sarcasm in my post wasn't obvious. I did miss the Vita, I had one in my cart, but I'm not going to go and complain to CSR over something ridiculous. I only complain when there is an -actual- problem with an order I've received.

Seriously, I leave for two days and there's over 20+ pages lol. :whistle2:k I'm guessing the mods are waiting a few more days for this to die down a little more. I understand people are receiving their stuff and are happy to report what they got, but damn half the posts are people still talking about looking for a Vita, or flipping. Barely seeing anything pertaining to AWD now (Obviously this post isn't helping the case), guess I should wait till AWD VIII.

^ That's how the AWD threads have been since the first one, lol. When deals start showing up they'll get posted. In the meantime people talk about their items shipping or not.
