The skinny on the Alien Zeno Clash giveaway:

The 33% coupon and the game are bound to one key.

If you already own Zeno Clash and attempt to activate the key, you'll be greeted by: "product already owned: I KNOW YOU DRANK THE FUZZY LIFTING DRINKS BITCH -- YOU GET NOTHING." So the coupon isn't awarded unless you're Zeno Classless like that lowborn bigot.

The coupon doesn't indicate that it's non-stackable and expires on 03/04/14.

Zeno Clash 2 was 60% off via Steam ($7.99) back on 7/30. The original release was 4/30.

This is the one I used when I got the short shrift; I'm not sure if it's been marked as used: TD9PR-WAGZ2-KB9JN

This one is definitely unused: CDA6I-P9AAC-K4K0P

All prices reflect the final price after savings/rebate(s). Offers expire 9/9/2013 at 11:59PM PDT.

ugh, i forgot how dumb new ubi games are on steam

launch rayman legends and it just generates a UPLAY key, then launches UPLAY where you input the key and can launch the game. also no 1080 resolution support.

seriously, how does that sound like a good idea for anyone involved? still, gotta thank JAKENOME for the amazing price.
All Ubi games run through Uplay. Did you expect something else? Not trying to be rude, just curious.

No 1080 res is a joke, though. fucking seriously?

Windows 9: It'll Be Released When It's Done Edition

The only other Ubi game I have on steam is Rayman Origins..... no UPlay.

Damn, I might have to buy Civ 5 Brave New World from that Newegg promo. My GF is gonna kill me.

No, if its on sale you may be able to stack it with the sale price
That probably won't happen. Steam will probably "fix" these coupons just like they fixed the Serious Sam 3 coupons from way back when.

Also, I can't even get a coupon anyhoo. Stupid region locking because of my IP...

A crap ton of golden keys for Borderlands 2. I've kept up with them pretty well and these were new to me today.

Most are for 5 keys each:

WB53J-KRRXW-5KXCB-STKTT-XC5BR

KJWB3-6RXRC-CKR5B-H3WB3-WZRF5

All of them were 5 keys.

So I now have over 200 keys. If I ever get around to actually playing the game, I'm gonna be all set. lol

Garry's mod as a mid-week madness?  Seems like it was put up a few hours after the first one... as if some other game was slated but something fell through.  Garry's Mod strikes me as some backup/default choice in case of emergencies like Portal 2 or L4D2 or Half Life series.

Vlambeer [the team behind the priceless Super Crate Box on Steam] celebrates its birthday with free release of Wasteland Kings prototype and Gun Godz [DRM-free]

http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/09/04/vlambeer-celebrates-birthday-with-free-release-of-wasteland-kings-prototype-and-gun-godz/

Two-person Dutch development team Vlambeer has released a pair of its games for free to celebrate the studio’s third birthday. The two games include a prototype version of Wasteland Kings, the team’s current project, and Gun Godz, a roguelike shooter tipping the corner of its pixelated hat in the direction of the original Wolfenstein.

An FPS inspired by gangster-rap, Gun Godz looks like it shares a healthy amount of its DNA with classic shooters like Wolfenstein and Doom. Players work to escape the jail of a hotel, which also happens to be the only building on the planet Venus where the game takes place. Appropriately enough the hotel owner, also known as the God of Guns, owns his own record label. The game features 12 levels, some secret areas, and a structure that should make speedrunning a possible playstyle.

Summary: An FPS roguelike from the creators of a good game. Free shit.

It should be Lord of the Rings: War in the North at 75% off ($4.99) but the price has not yet updated.
I will go on record as saying I enjoyed this game. I bought it on a whim, being a fan of Tolkien, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an easily accessible action/RPG (more emphasis on the action part) with loose ties to the films (including some character look-alike cameos) and a passable story.

Some people have mentioned difficulties with co-op, but I did not experience any.

I want this merely because I'm a LotR fan, but I'm not sure I $5 want it :whistle2:k

I also just started playing LotR:O (way late on this one I know), so maybe I will hold off on this...

Damn it, paid $20 like a month back for BNW. Not a regret since I have put in over 300 hours into the base game and at least 60 into BNW, but can't help feeling that pang of "should have waited".

You knew that when you paid $20 for it. You decided to pay $20 anyway because you (1) wanted to play it badly enough and have gotten a good deal of playtime from it. You also bought it because (2) you needed an acceptable excuse to indulge in self-flagellation.

Oi, way to take it to some extremes there. Lets not pretend people don't like to once in a while in a thread look back at times like these where there was a sharp drop off after buying something. Stuff like that is why you have lurkers and not contributors (overblown responses). Thanks for the condescension though, appreciated.

Hmmm, now this has got me interested.

Anyone ever play Lord of the Rings Conquest? How does this compare? Loved Conquest.

Is there any particular reason you (and anyone else still redeeming these keys) are averse to editing your save file and just giving yourself however many keys you want?
