unless you want to try the multiplayer why not just rent the game from gamestop ? while it was a really fun campaign the game was short

When I went to pick up my games for store pickup, out of curiosity I went and checked out their used games. They had a complete Gunslinger for xbox 360 for $4.99 and when I just opened it had a unused Fruit Ninja Kinect download code. Not bad 2 games for $4.99. Also one of my NSMB2 copies was a new one lol not preowned, so free club Nintendo coins haha. I also picked up Starhawk for $4.99 with no online pass :( my luck ran out there.

Literally while typing this I just got my order has shipped for F1 2011 vita, no backorder for me.

Pick it up at gamestop used right now, you have returns all the way until the 15th... of JAN... (So play it, beat it, play multiplayer, get bored with multiplayer, return it.)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. As I looked at the first listing on Amazon I remembered Half.com and snagged a like new copy for $6.00 with $3.49 shipping, and no tax. I do appreciate everyone looking out for me though.

edit. And the reason i wanted to pick it up to own rather than rent is that I want to be able to play the whole campaign coop with a few friends but its gonna take a few weeks I'm sure to get enough nights where everyone is available at the same time. Also I already own the seasons pass which I had bought from a CAG

I've heard that Best Buy only accepts the disc of games(no case or manual) for trade-in so you're probably likely to get a disc in a generic case if you buy pre-owned online. Is this true?

Well, they do accept disc-only games (some stores don't, though), but not just that--they accept complete copies, too. Honestly, why wouldn't they? :???:

Actually, even online I get most games CIB. Just today my Pokemon Soul Silver arrived, and it was complete (Without the cardboard box/pokewalker that is). I have had some games come in the generic case, but at least most of the time they arrive CIB. (Plus the disc's are always spectacular, unlike GS where the only pre-owned games on the site are usually resurfaced cat toy's.

 
Picked up starhawk even though I have the single player from ps+. I needed to makes some more room on the hdd so I figured I would buy the physical copy for 5 bucks. Good price and I always prefer physical copies to digital. Thanks again OP.

??? You are thinking of gamestop. They have been doing b2g1 at BB on and off almost weekly. It is actually a bit overdue for one at BB, although they might be building up inventory for Black Friday.

Well, that's strange. I got a backorder notice yesterday on the 2005 NFS:MW, and it shipped today. Probably just going to be the new version, isn't it?

I meant a couple weeks ago when I ordered that. Got an email saying it was back ordered for two weeks but then the next day it shipped and wound up being the wrong one.

When they had Dirt 3 in stock last week they shipped them all to me via UPS 2 day with the $1.99 shipping. This time they sent them via the UPS/USPS hybrid. *shudder*

 
i got a preowned copy of dishonored the other day.  i had $20 store credit from the 2 free GTAV thing... anyways... it was marked $24.95

rang up.... 17.95 (so i had to buy some candy to use the store credit...)

get home.. open it up.. and it is a brand new, still sealed copy... :)

How can you tell it was new?

Or, rather, what do you mean it is still sealed? All BB pre-owned games come with re-sealed cases.

 
None of the pre-owned games show up as available at my local store.  Apparently they don't keep a good inventory because they have plenty of used games.  Guess I'm gonna have to actually get out of the house to see what they have.

not necessarily, I have gotten sealed new copies of games from BB plenty of times instead of preowned. This sale for example I bought a preowned NSMB2 and they gave me a new copy instead of a preowned. During the B2G2 sale they gave me a brand new Mario Kart Wii instead of a preowned copy, it also had free Wii registration Code Nintendo card in it plus the games code.

it still had the uhh, side stickers, that you have to like... peel off, you know..... that and the disc is flawless.

idk if i just got lucky, or if there are more games that are new and just marked pre-owned as a sort of clearance?

 
Placed two orders the day the sale started. Lost Odyssey was the first and Dragon Age Ultimate for PS3 and 360 was the second. Both shipped today. between this and the memory card, I'm pretty pleased with Best Buy as of late.

Well the combination of the timing of the change to myBBY when the $2500 was pending, having someone help me and the last big trade not posting until the day after I posted means that I just changed to plain old elite.

Not that it matters, my cart's still broken so I can't freaking order anything.

Ohhhh, i totally forgot they had the side stickers. You probably got lucky.

But, BB resurfaces discs, so usually pre-owned discs look new as well.

I personally don't think so. I loved all of the previous games in the series up until AC3, which I personally found to be stale/boring. AC:L is very much like AC3 as far as gameplay goes (the story is different though). If you liked AC3, I bet that you would enjoy it. Otherwise, I'd recommend waiting for it to be $9.99 or less.

 
Not that I'm complaining since the GF sales seemed geared more towards PS3 lately, but this one definitely favors 360 more.

 
Got a disc-only copy of Yakuza 4. Not surprised, the game is probably too rare for me to get a chance to receive a full copy

 
Best Buy is still killing it with their used selection.  I received today the following for $4.49 each  (Darkness II, Sega Rally Revo & Lost in Shadow), along with Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.

Had to go pick up my 32 GB Vita Memory Card & wound up picking up a complete Dragon Age Origins for $4.49 as well.  To top it off, New Super Mario Bros. 2 is back in stock for $17.99 after GCU.  Good times!

Tried to get some 3DS games, but no shipping to store. Was able to get NSMBU to be sent to the store because of your post (since I decided to check it after no luck with the 3DS games)! Thanks, bud!
 
My order of DOA Ultimate, Yakuza 4, Binary Domain, Enslaved OTTW, Heavenly Sword, and Heavy Rain came in today. And all of them happen to complete! (Outside of DOA Ultimate as I am not sure if it comes with a manual or not)

But I am one happy customer!

 
Despite my battle with the Best Buy system when this deal went live, I got all my games yesterday (except for Yakuza 4) and all had cases and manuals which was nice.

I didn't end up ordering on this deal until late on Tuesday, still managed to get all the Yakuza games, Tetris Evolution, and a couple of others ship to store.  The Yakuza 4 couldn't be sent to store for some reason, but that should be at my house today.  Pretty stoked on it, considering all the credit I had stock piled at Best Buy for the PS4 games that I want.  So I'll burn through these hopefully by the time the 15 rolls around next month.
