Dunno why anyone would lie about getting in on an awesome deal from Wal-Mart (don't doubt it, just don't get it), but I guess to increase my CAG Likes I'll tear my socks off and take a selfie with all my incoming paperbacks.

I'm not sure if your post was intentionally ironic.. but you shouldn't wear socks when putting together a PC ;). Could've been why the guy in the pic wasn't..

I should report you for not knowing this!
You shouldn't be putting a PC together on carpet either; in other words the guy has dirty, stinky feet from all the carpet fibers he's been so carelessly rubbing on

Clearly Earthbound is stalking Blade. When Blade's body is eventually discovered in a wooded area near some desolate highway, I guess we all know who the police should be questioning first.
Evidence for my trial shale begin with proof that you are not credible for your outlandish claims.

Exhibit A: You are a Liar
Exhibit B: You Support the Anti Spelling Arts
Exhibit C: You clearly stole that man's socks

Suddenly I can see who likes each post.

Now I'm gonna start feeling peer pressure to like certain posts if everybody else likes them.

For every person that likes this post, Gaben will donate $5 to Charity.

Finally! We can see who's liked a post. I see it's already been mentioned, but I'm mentioning it again because it was so stupid to not have been that way from the start :whee:

I do not like these posts.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Steam key for $5 on StackSocial (AKA MacAppDeals)

It's labelled as a Mac key (Aspyr), but CoD4 is a Steamplay game.
Finally, it hits my price point. I don't own and have never played a single COD game (except for some zombie multiplayer that one time at my buddy's place).

But now the dilemma - if Activision is finally discounting COD, should I wait till the winter sales to pick it up with Gabenbux/from Jakenome? What about the inevitable Humble COD Bundle?

Um, wow.

And this is probably the cheapest I've seen a CoD:MW game. Buy it and don't feel bad because...Activision.

You don't have to even think about that: Activision has nothing to do with this sale. The sale is by Aspyr, who publish the Mac version.

PS: the later CoD games have separate Mac/PC listings on Steam, so don't hold your hopes up for any similar sales on those games.

PPS: the newer CoD games are region-locked in the CIS countries.

I always end up in that romance, but I'd have actually preferred taking this one through the whole trilogy...

I had tried to go for her, but apparently I said something wrong and she decided to give me the cold shoulder for the rest of the game. I guess Liara is just a little too easy ;)

Though if I'd had my choice I'd have stolen* Kasumi away ^_^

*thief pun...why aren't you laughing?

I'm in the same boat, only I've never even played it at a buddy's house. I just feel that eventually Activision is going to understand how easy it would be to bundle 3 or 4 old games that no one is playing anymore and sell the bundle for $10-$15 and just rake in another couple bucketfuls of money. Also, I know it's just going in the backlog, so I can wait. Who knows, maybe they'll feel like they have to do a humble bundle if all the other guys are doing one, and you just know theirs will consist only of the oldest games they think they can get away with.

Oh totally. I loved Kasumi, I would've romanced her.

I was an Ashley guy all through the trilogy with my main, and with my FemShep...let's just say, it felt more comfortable having her be into the ladies.

I've held off on viewing the Tali romance until I can play through the game again with a dedicated character for her.

I always did admire here sarcastic dialogue. Oh, also her form fitting outfit and flexibility.

It certainly does feel like the entire industry is jumping on the Humble Bundle bandwagon. It's been a great year for new PC gamers looking to start a backlog. Almost makes me wish I wouldn't have discovered Steam sales three years ago.

Kasumi never showed any interest in me. She broke my heart right after entering it.

Get it get it get it?

Anyone who bought the Nordic Games Humble Bundle can now go get their freshly pressed Neighbours From Hell Compilation Steam key. :D

Edit: Maybe I'm just late to the part-y on this one.

So listen, with this Ubisoft Uplay account junk.  WHat does this all entail?  It still runs the game through Steam, but I have to run it through Uplay as well?  Can someone explain?

Also, I suddenly want french fries.  I don't know why.  It's probably not related.

Anyway, if there's a bunch of Uplay hoops to jump through, I'll just get the PS3 version of Far Cry 3 etc. and the Wii U version of Ass IV (and if I ever want to play Ass III).

It all runs through the uplay client. Basically having it on Steam just means that when you boot it through steam it opens up uplay. Sort of silly. Uplay isn't a bad client, though, so if you want the games on PC you might consider waiting for a non-steam sale on them and just playing them through uplay.

Basically, you launch a Uplay game on Steam, then it opens Uplay and you essentially play the game through Uplay. That's what I've gathered from it which is why I've just gotten stuff directly from Uplay (Blood Dragon) when the opportunity presents itself.

Edit: D'oh. I didn't see Foxhack's post above. I deleted my duplicate post.

So much for that Devolver Digital weekly bundle. :(

http://store.steampowered.com/sale/devolverweekend

Up to 85% off.

Hotline Miami is 2.49, other games are 33 - 50% off.

Also, a weekend Ubisoft special: Call of Juarez Gunslinger and Farcry 3 Double Pack for $12.50.
That Ubisoft Weekend Deal looks interesting. I wonder if someone might have a better price. ;)

An interesting Weekend Deal:

50% off Call of Juarez Gunslinger + Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon "Double Pack" for $12.49 ($24.99)

I wonder if someone might have a better price. ;)
Well, if you buy direct through UPlay for these games, you're missing Steam cheevos and cardz, if that's important to you.

Stardock's released another "stuff" pack for Sins.

Anybody remember when they used to charge $10 for actual expansion packs (like Entrenchment) instead of these minimal-content DLC packs for FE and SoaSE:Rebellion? I'm betting the recently-announced GalCiv III will be stuffed to the brim with star, planet, ship part, and planetary upgrade packs. As a game dev and as a utility dev, Stardock's really circling the drain these days.

Mmm, I'd love me some Steam cheevos and cardz. Preferably with a side of "Damn! That's a good deal!" and "Hmm, more backlog excitement? Why not?".

Perhaps the friendly Panda will deliver us an offer difficult to refuse.

~$7.50's my too good to miss price on this pack. OTOH, I'll probably buy it just ahead of the Ubi Weekly that features them in the bottom tier.

The estimated Panda Price will be $9. Hopefully he surprises us with something even cheaper.

Don't know if anyone cares, but it looks like those 25% off Foul Play coupons stack with the current sale bringing the price down to $5.02

Daedalic bundle sucks. I want Dark Eye: Chains of Sat-Nav, but I'm not interested in Journey of a Roach and everyone and his grandmother already has Deponia from previous bundles. :hot:

Gunslinger isn't uPlay, it's Steamworks. Just bought it for 2€ week ago from Viagame. (And those bastards doubled price while I was ordering and their site bugging).
Hm. I didn't know that. I find it odd that Ubi wouldn't put one of its relatively-new games on Uplay.

Yeah. If they aren't careful someone's going to mistake them for Firaxis.

I think Techland (the developer of the Call of Juarez games and owner of the IP) really doesn't want its games on Uplay. I think they know it limits their audience.

I'm really disappointed with how lazy Firaxis has been with XCOM.

It's been a year and they're only just getting around to the first major expansion? With only two minor DLCs out?

It's almost as if somebody suggested putting the bulk of their content in the original game.
