Redd had a proper painting today.  Nabbed it if anyone wants.  Still looking for Quaint Painting and Mystic Statue, only ones I need.

That's the issue I have at my fiancée's house. Tablet works, but trying to open my gate or visit someone else's town gets me an error code. I blame Comcast and their integrated WiFi cable modem.
 
Haha yeah est ...I'm getting on now. Id like to come to your town if you don't have apples as primary that way I can sell a bunch of perfect ones I have too. I need room.

The kangaroo is moving into a decent part of town, very wooded area, but just south of a cafe and near where i had a path in the trees, so I'm happy.  I just really don't want one next to my house or in my garden area.  

 
I thought the aurora screen was originally Japanese DLC, so it's sort of new for anyone outside of Japan who hasn't cataloged it yet.

 
I think prim had a bunch of Japanese & other region DLC for cataloging - that's how I got mine.

Only need one artwork now- Mystic Statue!  Would be willing to pay a ton of bells (1 million+) for it.  I also have proper and moody paintings to trade.  Gonna hold onto those paintings as possible trade items until I get the statue, and then I will offer the leftovers for free here.

I thought Goose was a guy.

For anyone not sure of what gender an animal is, if their name is in a blue oval when talking to them, they're male - if the oval is pink, the character is female. Special characters will be in green.

Jocks, cranky/grumpy, lazy, and smug villagers are male.

Normal, peppy, uchi, and snooty villagers are female.

It's Groundhog's Day. Don't forget to get your Resetti Model from Isabelle today and take your picture with Mr. Resetti!

I got 6,000 Turnips today, so I'm hopeful good prices will be here again this week.

I also built another Snowboy, which I'm pretty sure will be my last for the complete Snowman furniture set!

Oh, and Mathilda sent me a second copy of her picture in the mail. Her letter was so touching that I saved it this time.

I had Goose for a long time, he was one of my original villagers. He was fucking insane yet amusing. :rofl:

Sometimes animals in the game will make a mistake - probably because of a typo in the game where a snooty character will refer to an uchi character as him instead of her (they'll say something about regifting you something they got from an uchi villager and then say "don't tell him"). :lol:

EDIT: Figures, the day I don't check the deals forum, there's a 3DS XL deal $34.99, pink (even though my avatar has a lot of pink, it's not really my color :p), but still... would've been nice to have a spare. Looks like a lot of people were able to get them, unlike with Walmart's price mistakes. I would've had to drive pretty far anyway if any of the Kmarts around here had them in stock.

I always buy the maximum amount I can store. Fill all spots in storage and my pockets. Then sell when the big price hits. There always seems to be at least 1 big price here every week. Only lost money once when I forgot about them. Had to throw away hundreds of spoiled turnips. The pay day is worth the risk, though. A full storage/pocket will net you a few million depending on the big price.

My town has them for sale for 100ish and then only for like $120-$150 during the week, besides one 446$ day last week.

 
Usually you want to buy Turnips for less than 100 and sell for 400+.  I usually buy 6000, but I might buy more given certain circumstances.  Turnips were going for 45 this morning, so...not much else I can say about that.

I got another Snowman Wardrobe today instead of a Snowman Vanity (the last one I need) so what the hell? I built another Snowboy, and if I don't get it tomorrow, I'll just buy it/trade for it on Gamefaqs.  It's super frustrating to have stuff like that happen.

 
Yeah, snowboy is weird. With my character, he gave me the whole snowman set without duplicates. With a second character, I got the full set, but with one duplicate item, but I think it's because I didn't actually open the present that was attached to the letter. I'm trying with a third character and making sure I open the present each time to see what happens.

There's some conflicting info on when snow is supposed to melt though. If it only lasts until the 14th, then I'll be one item short of another full set, but some places say there's snow until the 25th, so in that case, I'll have plenty of time and maybe able to get two more snowtyke items.

Joan sells turnips for between 90 and 110 bells. If you can go online, you'll almost always make a good profit.

It should be the 24th (back to grass on 25th). When there's conflicting information, go with Liquefy's FAQ on GameFAQs. He's written excellent FAQs for all the Animal Crossing games (including the Japanese only N64 one), and he's played through a winter already in the Japanese version of New Leaf. I'd be shocked if that was a change made for the localization.

 
I usually check Liquefy's FAQ for other things, but didn't even think about it for this. Nice! Thanks! Looks like I'll have some time to get another full set even if I get some duplicates.

The GameCube version is just the N64 version with the 64DD expansions and shinier graphics I believe.

I completed my Snowman set this morning. I'll be opening up my town in a few minutes for various things. Free stuff as always is in front. Um...Turnips are going for 34 a piece, so yeah. I have Elvis in an Igloo, but he's moving into my town soon. Oh, and Samson is moving out on the 8th.

If you have either Four-Leaf Paper or Museum Paper and would like to donate some to me, that'd be super. Also a Toad Parasol. I don't know why Labelle has never put one up.

T&T is selling four-leaf paper today, so I can drop some off if your gate is still open. I've never had museum paper, but I don't think it can be ordered. It's one of those things that animals will mail sometimes, like Halloween paper.

EDIT: I buried the paper near your house.

EDIT 2: Labelle is selling the Toad parasol today too, so I'm on my way back. If I ordered it from my catalog, you would've had to wait until after 5 Pacific time. I buried it next to the paper.

I think it's a different Midge because I saw her in KingBroly's town (originally from Explicit's town) and I still have the one in my town.
