Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

If I'd bought the Fire and Sword bundle already I'd be pissed. If they don't mean early purchasers will be automatically sent extra gift bundles I'd be emailing support to demand it.

I would love to get Fire and Sword if anyone is willing to buy it for the group.

I'll pay tip of course

I'm glad spoder convinced me into buying the bundle with deadly premonition. It's really a great game. Did everything that page says and the game runs nice. I'm playing with kb+m and is very playable.

So how does Happy Hour work exactly? I have a couple friends that bug me about it so I may just end up doing a HH set for us next round.

Basically, you just purchase a bundle in the first week at the BTA price, and 3 extra bundles are given to you automatically?
if this is true, then the fox has been royally fuck ing us

it's not true all  to the glorious fox, thanks again fox for all you do hosting these happy hours.

I would also like to buy a F&S bundle off anyone if they got in early. I passed at $4.49, but I'll bite now for sure. If anyone is doing a group buy count me in. I've never done one so I have no idea how to go about getting involved in one.

Sword/Fire Bundle

I'm still looking for older bundle packs as well if people have any.

Quick question, did anyone else's code for Fire & Sword unlock Magicka: Wizard Wars as well? There is no mention of it on the gala page, but the code unlocked both titles on my account, and I'm able to earn cards for it as well.

Edit: Both M&B titles unlock Wizard Wars, so I guess my spare account has a copy too :)

Indie Gala's site was a big mess before IG January ended. It was showing Beast Boxing Turbo, Finding Teddy, Rush Bros, Interstellar Marines and Interstellar Marines Spearhead Edition listed on the main page. Might be a leak for the next bundle.

crappy bundle alert... maybe it was the site trying to warn us.

I can't vouch for the rest, but I had a ton of fun with Beast Boxing Turbo. Finding Teddy looks interesting, though I know very little about the game. Interstellar Marines is Early Access and has a few decent reviews.

I know Rush Bros is supposed to be horribad.

Any personal experience with these that should cause one to beware?

Well.. they've all been bundled before, aside from Interstellar Marines.

Considering we got screwed over on Rush Bros in the Gala Jan bundle, I for one am excited.

It's funny that Plugin Digital goes and give Steam keys for Finding Teddy to Gala now when they were such a huge PITA to get the keys from for the Groupees bundle.

Rush Bros might as well be cancer; playing it will rot your soul.

Finding Teddy on the other hand I enjoyed quite a bit. It's a simple relatively short point and click adventure, but it's rather charming (I was expected something dark, but it's anything but) and certainly worth playing if you're a fan of the genre.

Obligatory -->Steam Review<--

It's anything but dark? I played it a few weeks back and watched in horror as a cute little girl was repeatedly eaten or stung by giant monsters

WTF! I recently checked my Indie Gala January link and found out that my Velvet Assassin game is missing. Was going to give the Steam key to someone but can't now because the game is completely missing from the page.

Anyone has this happen to them?

I think it happened to everyone. Indie Gala decided we weren't worthy enough for Velvet Assassin

Seriously!? Indie Gala can go screw themselves if that's the case. That's ridiculous that they would have a game missing having already promised (and given out) to paying customers. Not that the game good or anything but it just feels wrong.

Yeah, everyone's got removed. Don't know why. My Gala page has been wonky since yesterday, don't know if this is related.

My Velvet Assassin is also missing from the Gala page. I really wanted to be outraged by this, but it's been on sale 80 bajillion times and I just can't muster up the nerdrage for it.

Also I actually saved the keys to a text file so I still have it. I wonder if it still works. I would assume so. Would one of the 3 people out there who doesn't own it yet care try it out?

I paid $5.26 for that bundle. Deadly Premonition alone was worth that, really. Also, gravity badgers cards were selling good.

Believe it or not, I was one of those 3 people who didn't have it. And I somehow managed to miss that it had been added to this bundle, so I never claimed my key. I just redeemed the key that you dropped and it worked fine.

Thanks a lot. If the keys somehow reappear on our bundle pages, I'll either PM it you so you can decide what you want to do with it. Or if you don't care, I'll trow it out for somebody else to get.

Well that solves that mystery.

You can just give it to someone else if it magically re-appears.

I wonder if anyone actually doesn't already own VA and notices it's not there and actually gives enough of a crap to make a fuss to Indie Gala.

Kind of doubting it.

I actually already own Velvet Assassin from a previous purchase which is why I didn't redeem the key. I was planning on giving the key away which is why I went my indie Gala page today to find it missing. Obviously I wasn't expecting the game to be missing from the page because that's just plain incompetency by Indie Gala. More pissed about the stupidity of the situation.

But yeah, I bought the bundle because of Deadly Premonition

Problem here is that I doubt Indie Gala would bother fixing their site given that they already got their money and most people have already redeemed their keys. Good thing there is growing competition in the Indie bundle scene.

Now, if only someone officially or unofficially would fix that memory leak bug in Deadly Prem...

I'm glad I'm one of the clever ones sticking it to Indie Gala by copying the code to a Google doc before they decided to do takebacksies.

If you still want a code for your friend, Financial Panther (if it wasn't for your avatar/title I'd have mistaken you for a lurker), mine is up for grabs.

Thanks for the offer but it's not necessary. I was planning to give the code away but didn't get around to it until today. (my friend won't miss it b/c ignorance is bliss) Just didn't expect to find the game missing.

Now I'm taking time to download EVERYTHING (and copying extra codes) on Indie Gala, Groupee, and Indie Royale in case similar situations happen or one site shuts down.

Downloading and documenting everything is taking forever. Didn't know how many bundle I bought until I counted

BTW: Didn't know one could change our CAG name until recently so I did it for whimsy and as a fan of the Simpsons. (probably change it back to Voken after a year or 2) O:)

almost didn't recognize you. i've gone through all mine and either activated or posted in the threads.
I think Sunasun DVG is shutting down. Unfortunately, that means that there will be a lot of Homeless Inebriated Tramps walking the streets now.

Also, my Velvet Assassin key shows up in my game lists.   Might be fixed for everyone?   It at least works for me.

Peeps are also saying if you BTA, you should activate the Interstellar Marines: Spearhead Ed. first, as you get a gift copy with it. If you do that, you will end up with 3 copies of Interstellar Marines: Spearhead(for you), the gift from Spearhead and the $1 tier key for your best buds who already hate you for gifting them Bad Rats.
