Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Peeps are also saying if you BTA, you should activate the Interstellar Marines: Spearhead Ed. first, as you get a gift copy with it. If you do that, you will end up with 3 copies of Interstellar Marines: Spearhead(for you), the gift from Spearhead and the $1 tier key for your best buds who already hate you for gifting them Bad Rats.
um what if i have just reegular edition onlyl want spearhead edition would that work and give the reguglar to friend and second one to oantoher?

Passing on this. I just want interstellar marines and with every bta you will get 3 copies. The spearhead ed gives a gift copy.

Hopefully I can spoder a copy

I guess it would depend on whether or not the "Spearhead Edition" would exist as a separate entry in your Steam library, or if it would just "upgrade" your existing Interstellar Marines entry. I don't know the answer to that...

I had the original already, registered the Spearhead version and it simply over-wrote my original version and allowing me a gift version of the original.

Rush Bros, Sang-Froid and PixelJunk Shooter have cards, Indie Gala is really stepping up it's game.

Hook me up??? :)
Already gifted to a guildy

It actually looks like Spearhead simply gives you a spare key to gift to someone. You don't have to have it b4 you register it. So that's what people meant by you get 3 copies of the game.

1 from the Tier 1 game

2 from the Spearhead Tier 2 Game (keeping the upgraded version for yourself)

New Indie Gala is up

$1 tier:

  • Cubicity
  • Interstellar Marines
  • Rush Bros
Beat the 'average' tier:
  • Beast Boxing Turbo
  • Sang Froid
  • Interstellar Marines: Spearhead Edition
  • Pixeljunk Shooter
"Plus MORE Steam GAMES to be unlocked SOON for all BTA buyers!"
That's another great IG bundle with more to come.

I just did this accidentally. I was logged into my kids/spare Steam a/c and redeemed the $1 tier IM before I realised. Was thinking 'Ah crap, now I'll have to buy another $1 tier. BUT NO! on logging into MY steam. I redeemed the Spearhead copy and LO AND BEHOLD, it gave me a gift copy AND the steam entry is IM with Spearhead as the DLC.

So that was nice.

I have a gift I can spoder your way.

Although, you should probably wait and see what the bonuses are. You might want the whole thing (Edit: from a group buy of course =P)

Also, my Velvet Assassin key shows up in my game lists. Might be fixed for everyone? It at least works for me.
Yeah, It's back on my page as well.

Thanks to Motoki, I was able to redeem a key that he offered yesterday. So I'm gonna give away the extra that I now have. if you're interested, quote this post and I'll PM it to you.

Oh and send any "likes" you might have Motoki's way. Because it's basically his copy that I'm giving away.

EDIT: Sent to Tebow er, Icedragon15

Do they always do happy hours? I'm thinking I should probably hold out for one and get in with someone else since I'm really only interested in the boxing game and I already own two others.

So the best way to go with Interstellar Marines is to just activate the Spearhead version key and not the base key?
Spearhead is nothing more then the original game + perks for paying more ($25 more on steam).

You can always grab the $1 tier later if there isn't one. Not much risk in waiting.

Yea, but all I really want out of the bundle is the boxing game that is BTA. The rest is just steam library fluff. Unless buying at $1 now means I'm locked in and can drop another $2.99 later if I want to BTA then?

As much as I always think we're a bundle away from them killing Happy Hour, they have yet to have a bundle with this structure that doesn't have one.

Anyway, bought in and once I figure out my extras I'll post here so you guys can have first dibs.

That's what I wanted to hear. Thanks fox, I'll gamble and wait on a happy hour then.

It's not really much of a gamble. There's almost no chance they will end early. If anything Gala has a tendency to keep pushing the end date back. Worst case scenario you buy it on the last day without a HH but I'm 99% sure they will do one. And they might even do a gottacha and extend the time after runs out and not do the HH until then so nervous people panic and buy it HH-less. I honestly would not put that past Gala.

But really there's no good reason to buy now unless you plan to host a happy hour group buy. The mystery games haven't even been revealed yet so that may make a difference for some people potentially.

That boxing game is one of the ones I already have so if that's all you want, its yours.

I thought that they did do that for one of the last few bundles last year.

This is a great bundle for me. I don't have anything yet and I've been eyeing sang-froid. I'm tempted to just go in at the $3.99 price point instead of waiting for HH. Will I have to turn in my CAG card?  :p

FANTASTIC bundle.  Wish I hadn't just purchased Sang-Froid during the Steam Holiday Sale, but it's a great game and I suppose supporting the devs isn't all bad.  This bundle is worth the price of admission for that game alone IMO.

Indie Gala is killing it lately.  They've certainly replaced Indie Royale as the bundle I'm second most excited about each time it launches (and Humble has been slipping a bit lately)

So Fox, this is probably a stupid question, but are you going to be hosting the HH if it shows up?  I would hate to give my monies to anyone else but you.
