  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

yeah, Max is great. Go for that one. I just got Strider and played a few minutes. If you played the original or the sequel on the PS1, it's worth it. It's a straight up old school side scroller type of game. Halo is all right. Not great, not awful. I'm interested in Crimson Dragon and Lococycle still.....but I refuse to buy them because the CAG in me knows they'll be free at some point.

Thanks Guys! So I'll be getting Max, Strider, and Halo Spartan Assault. When I get that $15 code, I'll use it on Peggle 2.


Yea I feel the same way about CD and Lococycle. Knowing MS, those will probably be one of the first free Games for Gold games on XB1.

It's still pretty active. I've been playing it off and on for the past couple weeks and never have problems finding a full lobby.

So I started playing Runner2 last night, that game is addicting as fuck. I didn't get to bed until 6am because I just couldn't stop playing it. It's very fun and look's great. If it's ever on sale in the future I highly recommend it.

Why in the world does MGR have a $40 regular price?

The "63%" off is a joke when the physical version of this game can already be had for this price or lower. 

 
Solid price on Rising, too bad Europe's got it at almost 20 Euros. Just the usual sale on Diablo 3 and Ghosts, I'm interested in getting Diablo 3 but it's not exactly an amazing sale. Then again, I'm sure it sells like crazy, they sure won't pull a 75% on this one anytime soon.

Pool Nation is perhaps the greatest pool game I played. An absolute steal for 1$, tons of content, great graphics and physics, lovely game, buy it.

Really really tempted by Nights.

Good deals today, but nothing that I want to bite on. I've only gotten Mass Effect and Bastion from this sale. Hoping the DLC sale is more to my liking! I have so many things that I want from that...

 
I have everything (except this bad game REAL STEEL) lol. Pool Nation for a dollar is crazy deal, i got it for $5 and the money were well spend. You won't find better pool game.

 
If I hadn't recently gotten Dark Souls for $5, I would've gone ahead and snatched that up.  I'm thinking I will get Pool Nation.  Haven't played a good pool game in quite sometime and never on a console.  I wish Diablo III was at least $20 cheaper.  I just can't see myself paying more than that for it.  I might pick up NiGHTS into Dreams...though I had a terrible drug-maddened experience with it years ago.

Pool Nation is definitely worth a dollar, easily the best pool game on XBLA, if not altogether. Diablo 3 is not that tempting at only 33% off indeed, it's a price you can find in online shops anytime. I picked up NiGHTS, I never played it but was somewhat curious, this price totally reached my cheap-ass area and couldn't resist. Between Dark Souls at 5$, Red Dead at 7.50$ and The Orange Box at 5$, while these are all seen-before sales, for those who don't have 'em can get potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay of each. For that price each and everyone is a steal.

 
Oh, and someone drop me some opinions on Real Steel please. Looks decent enough but I feel I'd play it for 2 rounds and abandon it. Any special reason it's worth getting?

 
Holy Shit!! 1.12 GB for a pool game ala a really nice looking one, but still. That will play a major factor in me considering whether I want the game or not. I really do, but I cant get over the space.

 
I highly recommend Pool Nation. It's a great Billiards game, and it's almost worth it for the Endurance mode alone. And the graphics are gorgeous.

Edit: Haha, it's easily worth 99 cents just for the Endurance mode

So did The Orange Box on Black Friday, which is why I said "while these are all seen-before sales" :) Still, for those who missed out on those sales, plenty of content for a low price.

 
And I'm safe again. I already have The Orange Box and Red Dead Redemption and I want Metal Gear Rising on disc ... for PS3.

NiGHTS into dreams is one of those games that you are either probably going to really really love or really really hate. I personally loved it. The controls were a little weird at first, but after playing a couple levels I was flying around like a pro. 
 
Pool Nation is probably going to be the first $1 game I've ever passed on. If it's achievements weren't so time consuming I'd probably grab it, but with my back log I just don't see myself playing 25 hours of pool. 
 
As for Real Steel, I'm probably going to pass on it also. Don't really feel like having to boost all those stupid online achievements.
 
What does playing 25 hours of pool have to do with anything?

I mean, some of the achievements aren't easy but overall it's a great game for 99 cents

It is an awesome game, in fact. Getting 400G out of it can be time-consuming, but I played that game a lot between breaks and stuff. So much content and great controls. Unless you're really, really determined to get 100% achievements in nearly every game, Pool Nation is one to get.

Just looked at the preview photos and they do look amazing, but like I said 1.12 GB!! I have no room, and I still have to download Cold War by the end of the month.

 
Forget about achievements and buy Pool Nation. MS basically gift it.

Also i agree with @ZombiesWorld about NiGHTS. You can have really hard time until get used to controls.

Get it. Provided you realize it feels more like Ninja Gaiden, than Metal Gear..

It had smooth, fast gameplay. It had *SOME* stealth elements, decent challenge (albeit some cheap-cheap-cheap boss fights). The boss fights were really the only weakness to me - most of them were bad to terrible - and while that is important, it did not break the game for me or anything like that. With better boss battles, this might have been in my top 10 games of all gen.

The DLC was also made free at some point, so that adds even more to an already great game.

Bosses in MGR are amazing. Every one of them require to learn the attacks and feels good defeating them with good rating on harder difficulties. Nothing cheap.

Did i said that game has some of the most absurd, yet MEGA awesome final boss? Holy shit.

Game is worth even at higher price. Just don't expect any MGS type of gameplay.

btw: Don't forget that both story dlc's, which have achievements are free.
