MK vs DC was a flop imo. The rage power is op, the storyline is linear and uninvolving, and the fatalities are a dissapointment due to the teen rating. Just wanted to state my opinion on the game if anyone was on the fence about it.

That game was the death blow to Midway so yup, but from collector perspective it still has some value in it. At least it was not a failed experiment in that it paved the way for what came to become Injustice.

 
I was just asked this and it will help others understand this as well in what I meant to say:

"Hi I recently saw your post on how to set up pagemonitor, and I had a question, you said for a specific item we had to go to main amazon page, but in the tutorial we had to monitor the item thru AWD, so in summary what is happening"

I can see why that is confusing but simply put their is a lag in time the AWD deals show up on the AWD page. The deals show up on the main Amazon listings of that item first. Problem is unless you are monitoring that page religiously and actively, you aren't going to catch the deal. It is difficult to monitor the main Amazon page unless you are engaged with it. Setting the pagemonitor alert on that page will set off false alerts because their are listings other than AWDs there and they change at any given minute from new sellers listing deals, from sellers that sold listing, and listings that either drop in price or go up. On that note, setting an alert on AWD item listing of that item will only set off alert if the item either comes in stock or goes out of stock. Hence, eliminating the need to actively monitor an item and or false positive alerts. AWD item listing page also shows deal their first before it reaches the main AWD page so this still gives some time before others see it listed to react. This is why sometimes a ghost listing is visible on items at AWD because it was sniped before it even made to that page because someone saw it first either on the main Amazon page or via an alert.

In the end, monitor main page if you want something badly but be prepared to sacrifice some time or set an alert on the AWD page and let it do it for you. In time, quantities permitting, you are bound to get a deal and as such seize the deal.

My AWD order arrived today. The gold headset was literally new, as far as I know the only damage was a very shallow nick on the side of the box everything else was pristine.

My DKCR 3DS appears to be gently used. I haven't tried the code yet but everything else is in great shape.
 
So Persona Q won't be a fighting game? Thank god! Now I can finally play one of these like they should be... Sorry I just don't really like fighting games.

Well it's a turn based dungeon crawling fighting game so guess you're out of luck. The Vita on the other hand is a dancing game so that sounds like your best bet.

 
Ok so my (G) PS3 came in the original box. Came with the wires and a controller. The controller seems to be cheap compared to my original controller for the slim.  The PS3 has a few scratches here and there but seems to be fine. Hooked it up and it looks like the previous owner wiped the HD before sending it in to Amazon. Tested to see if it played PS2 games and yes it does. :D/

TL;DR Got a backwards compatible PS3 for less than $50.

Edit: Forgot to add. I turned it off after about 30 minutes to put away and it seems like the bottom vents were very warm. Could be a bad sign.

Any plans on doing anything to prevent YLOD? Make sure you stress test the hell out of it before the 30 day return period expires.

Oh boy! I'm excited for mine now just have to wait since it barely shipped today lol.this is good news to us all who grabbed one. Let's hope the rest come in good condition as well =)

I don't know of any way to prevent YLOD, but if anyone wants to share that'll be great. I'm not sure if you saw my edit but the PS3 seems to warm up very fast. Not sure if that's a sign of YLOD though.

I'm probably going to follow the tips in this when I get mine (http://www.squidoo.com/3-tips-for-a-cooler-running-and-greener-ps3-system-models-cecha01-cechg01-). Not sure how much longer these 60GB PS3s will last. Lol.

Also, you should make sure the warranty sticker is still intact. You don't want a system that could possibly be reflowed.

I have one that is backwards compatible that is hacked, the best way to prevent it from ylod is to clean it from dust, mine is out of warranty so i open mine and use compressed air every month to clean the dust

 
Got my G PS3 too, seems pretty much nearly brand new beyond the box being a little beat up and the system itself being a bit dusty. Even had the paperwork.

How big is your backlog?

There are so many great games on the PS3 , Xbox 360 , and PC alone that many people have a hard time justifying another console since they probably have over 100 great games to play between the PS3 , Xbox 360 , and PC.

 
Yeah I'd get that Wii U if I didn't get the zelda bundle I bought at retail, doh! I was coming off my high of reselling my PS4 after realizing I only wanted it for Destiny, which later showed a Sept release.  Anyway, got the Wii U and the $150 zelda 3ds from target for what I originally paid for the PS4.  

 
If I didn't have my ps4 I would so jump at that but until then I'll wait until below $200. Still have my ps3 and 360 backlog too. Though so off those Wii u games seem super tempting
 
My $30.xx (VG) Dead Rising 3 came today and it was actually a Day One Edition. So, that's good. Code is inside although I haven't tried it yet. So maybe later down the line, Amazon would have a higher TIV for Day One's where I could break even with the initial amount paid.

It is a great deal

The only reason I never bought it was because we were trying to get pregnant/got pregnant so needed to save money

But I got one for my baby shower last year so :)

It sounds like it's not that bad but in current gaming retail it's probably going to be $20 in no time and it's just the first of the major releases of the spring.
