In other news, I've spent 5½ hours downloading Blizzard's swanky new Battle.Net launcher, updating Diablo 3, and so far I've managed to play...

I am betting D3's servers are getting FLOODED w/ people wanting the update.

More reason for me to....just wait it out.

Maybe check D3 in a week or 2 or so, if I feel so inclined...

Anybody having problems accessing Steam Store? Im able to login on Steam and even use the chat, but the steam store and community pages do not load at all.

If people want my input on Darksector. It actually used to be one of my favorite Xbox 360 games. Of course this used to be back when I didn't have too many 360 games at the time. However if you want a kinda decent Gears Of War style game with an at the time unique gimmick it can be pretty great. Warframe is actually a spiritual successor to Darksector and you will note one enemy type in particular will look familiar if you have played warframe. The crazy spinning blade that you control in slow motion to rip dudes to shreds is really fun. Don't expect anything out of multiplayer though. Also black and white graphics at the beggining is normal.

 
I've been playing Warframe the past few weeks & that is actually what piqued my interest in Dark Sector again (I was vaguely interested in it on Xbox at one point).  In looking at the Warframe Wiki, I learned that the main char's last name is Tenno - which is what all the PCs in Warframe are called.  Apparently Dark Sector starts the timeline that leads to Warframe's universe (I am sure there are plenty of holes in this Retcon, but it's interesting to me nonetheless).

Sidenote:  Warframe is actually taking up so much of my gaming time that I doubt I will actually finish my 4 in February... So this is what I did this month:

1 - Aliens: Colonial Marines - Meh, played co-op with GF - worth the $2 I paid for it during Amazon's holiday sale.  Nowhere near as bad as some make it out to be - nowhere near as good as it should have been.

2 - Deadpool - Finished today.. I wanted to like this one, and in the beginning I did.. but I pretty much forced myself to finish it.  The constant rehashing of Deadpool's jokes got really tired. Also, may be the first time I didn't like Nolan North's voice acting in a video game ever.

3 - TitanFall Beta - If I wasn't a CAG I would have pre-ordered this one already

4 - Warframe - 90+ hours in the past month.  Haven't spent a dime on it yet.  It's alright ;p
