GGT 308 was cast for Season 4 of The Tester

I hear it's only 15 or so hours, kinda short for an rpg but as long as it's fun that's fine and then I'll probably have it done before Second Son comes out.

I've only fought him like 5ish times so far so I'm still learning his moves, I've been getting better though. Using a lot of rolling.

My guy is basically a pure strength build so my faith is like 10, I've helped a fair amount of people online though before already just for fun.

I summoned another player named It's over 9000 and he made it to the boss room and basically died in 15 seconds haha, I had my best run yet though getting him hurt more then I have before.

You need to be summoned for it to count. I think there's a way around it as well like offering those sunlight medals you get for summoning NPC's/online people and beating the boss other than that hold dat L.

Yeah, I was being summoned for a while helping out with some fights a while ago, that was a while ago though since I realized I never actually fully completed the game (have like 100 hours on my guy) so I wanted to get that done before 2 comes out, and since I was so close I figured it wouldn't take too long.

I got a good chunk of gaming in yesterday.

Still dicking around in Spelunky, 2-4 is the furthest I've made it yet.  Also played a good bit of Guacamelee, think I'm probably in the last quarter or so of that one.  Then played a tad of Mario 3D World.  The extra worlds are much harder, so I'll probably take a break from that for a bit as I'm a bit platformed out.

So I started up Beyond Two Souls last night and played 3 1/2 hours or so.  I'm really liking it so far. Graphics are amazing, story and characters are interesting so far, and the gamplay is better than Heavy Rain since there's a bit more to do than purely quick time events (controlling Aiden, drove a motorcycle etc.).

Her costume looks great, it's her face that just looks off for some reason to me.

Overall that trailer was pretty sweet though and I am definitely excited, will be pre-ordering the game on the Xbox One for sure!

 
If the Court of Owls aren't in Arkham Knight in some shape or form, then this game will have missed a huge opportunity.

Did you get that achievement before it was patched and they HALVED the requirement? :p

I think you only need 25 faith now, not 50. So yeah, hooray patch or something?

I helped kill Quelaag so many times for that to get my cost down from 50...

Haha didn't know about that even, ended up beating it with that being the one covenant I didn't join/get the cheevo for. Back when I was attempting to do that I was mainly doing Ornstein and Smough since it seemed to be the fastest one to get summoned at and I enjoy doing that fight.

 
That Arkham Knight trailer was great. I loved it. Only bad thing is I'll need a PS4. Blech. That's definitely not happening for a long time. Today is a lot easier than yesterday. I've mainly been on the phone with coroners today, which isn't as bad as cleaning out Mom's office was yesterday. My Dad will be home tonight and tomorrow we have court. After we get that done I can attempt to rest finally. I feel like I've aged 30 years over the last couple of days. People have been shockingly helpful and nice to me. Her office took up a collection, even. It was super nice.

Hopefully you'll be able to get all of the rest that you deserve man, after all this you definitely deserve to have some Joel time and not have to always be doing something. With all of the feelings/stress I can imagine how this would make you feel like you are older as you say, it's definitely a lot to take in and there's a lot going on.

That's awesome about her office though, it's always nice to see people helping others out, even when they don't really know them (assuming that they don't know you). As always, if you ever need someone to talk to as well I'm here as well as everyone else in the GGT.

I feel like the Town building and Villager gathering is the only thing I want to do in Bravely Default.  

My daughter was very happy to receive a red 2DS for her birthday this weekend.  She wanted to play in the car on the way to school, but I didn't bring it.  Might let her play tomorrow depending on her behavior.

Parry.

And then Parry some more.

If you're all strength, you can probably stagger him depending on your weapon. Run up and just wail on him with Iron Flesh and see how that goes. Also parry. Use the stalagmites as a wall and just keep circle strafing around him to keep him on the other side. It'll help block most of his moves so you can throw fire at him while he's recovering. Also parry him.

I didn't even know you were playing Dark Souls, I love talking Dark Souls. Why did you only go to GUNNM Dawg that was rude.

 
i haven't unlocked world crown yet, but 3D world has ended up a bit of a disappointment to me. Multiplayer is fun and there are a lot of cool ideas, but it feels like they took 5 or 6 cool concepts and stretched them out forever. The boss re-uses and AGAIN having the harder extra worlds mostly be remixes of old stages is pretty lame. I can't help but feel if this game came out 5-10 years ago, for example, "cool circus level" would have been one stage/world and they would've come up with something else for the later stages, rather than running their one new concept into the ground.
