  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

Not a movie tie-in, but Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 are excellent games! I hope they somehow come back and make part 3 for xbox one and ps4. I had a blast playing them in coop.

I think only PC version is losing multiplayer.

Amazon's pre-order policy is ridiculous. They just found out about a different pre-order bundle from a competitor for Plants vs. Zombies: GW and sent me $5. That was an unnecessary yet nice surprise from them.

Yup, luckily I have it not only for PC (the first version I got), but for the original Xbox and Xbox 360. :D

i hope someone comes up with a way for MP for the PC version though.

Also, thank your fellow CAGs for the $5, I'm sure a bunch of us badgered them until they gave into honouring their policy.

 
I'm real glad I didn't pay full price for Harley Quinn's revenge. Wow, talk about disappointing. Not even the novelty of playing as Robin made up for it.

If there's one thing they had better do in Arkham Knight, it's let us use DLC characters in the Campaign, and not only in (lame) combat challenges. I really wish they'd somehow allow for Cooperative play with Robin, Nightwing, (a new) Batgirl, Catwoman and/or Huntress. It would be so cool to have that within the game, especially with the open world freedom.

Harley Quinn's Revenge lacked all of this, especially the open world freedom, as Robin is completely contained to the building sections that it didn't offer you the real extension of playing as someone else. Plus, the story was really bad...

It'd be really great if they somehow planned with WB to release a Batman / Superman DLC chapter months later, where we could experience both characters, just to tease us with what could possibly be in the movie. I know that's way too much to ask, as it's smart marketing and most studio executives are idiots, but that would be such a neat thing to throw out for fans of those two. Finally getting those two, even if only in a side DLC thing, would be really fun. Get Affleck and Cavill to voice the characters, further introducing and lettings us accept them as the characters.

C'mon WB and Rocksteady. Get on that!

 
Spartan Assault for 50% off is being shown on the dashboard, but clicking on it still brings up the full price.

I wonder if they are lowering the price to $4.99 so it will be equal to the Steam version.

W8.1 and WP8 will be lowered to $4.99. It could be an ad for one of those

W8.1 and W8 versions don't have multiplayer and are on sale for $2 right meow. It has 1,000 Gamerscore as well.

 
Is there a way to turn off all users signature in this forum? I'm struggling with my bandwith lately and since i have this thread permanently opened in my browser, all little help is appreciated. Thanks.

Got around to playing Fable Heroes today.  Man what a boring and sterile game.  I guess maybe it's more fun in co-op, but I can't imagine it being great even then just because it's so plain.  Only played through the "light world" version of the game because I don't have the fortitude to play through it a second time in "Dark" world.

Also played Motocross Madness and Giana Sisters earlier in the week.  Both much better than Fable.

Is anyone really all that interested in Spartan Assault - a poorly reviewed mobile game that's been brought to consoles that includes such brilliant features as micro-transactions? I do agree that it is a sort of F-U to XBone owners and MS needs to work to encourage and not discourage the transition between consoles, selling the same experience for less elsewhere seems like a dumb business practice to me.

Though if I was an XBone owner I'd hold off on buying Spartan Assault, Lococycle and Peggle 2 as I'm more than sure that these will ultimately be free games at some point when they offer the GwG promo for current gen consoles.

 
I think it has unlocks for Halo 4. Those people might be interested in it.

Getting closer. Speaking of bottom of the barrel, I just started Islands of Wakfu. Man, if the combat was better I think they could have had a winner on their hands. I'll give it one more chance but I doubt I make it all that far into the game. The combat is so bad.

It say 50% off, not $5 off.
Edit: looks like they changed it, it says now 9.99 on the dash instead of 50% off.

Ah I still have to finish that game because I found some parts to be just so frustrating that I haven't played it in over a year. The combat is alright, just takes some getting used to.

I'm still debating on it, the $15 pre-order bonus at Amazon is very tempting but I got sucked into Warface (which for the most part is playable now since it doesn't freeze mid-game and disconnect you) so I might wait for a price drop on Titanfall. We'll see.

Yeah, I guess when you die you have to start the level you're on all over? That's going to be frustrating for sure.

I'm debating on it, but not before I've seen some videos or reviews and maybe a price drop. I'm actually worried about how populated the servers will be after the first few months with MS pushing potential buyers to the One version.

I sure don't want to buy another multiplayer "fiasco" as Halo 4 CE (mostly because of the season pass but that steelcase was sweet!)

Edit: Just noticed I'm simultaneously "CAG in Training" and "CAG Veteran". How does this work? o_O

I had it preordered since before the XBone version released but I'm pretty certain I'm not even going to bother with it at this point. Any and all hype I had for the game has dwindled and I have plenty on my plate.

I'll hold onto it for a few days and check some vids/reviews of 360 performance, but even then I'll likely be returning it. That's a chunk of money toward my next Gen purchase, which conversely isn't the bone.

 
Anybody know if there is a way to delete all clips on X1? Hit my clip limit at a little over 100 clips and deleting them one at a time will not be fun. It'd be nice if they deleted automatically when after they are uploaded to Onedrive
 
I knocked Colonial Marines out of my backlog tonight. Not the worst game, but man was that a lot of wasted potential.

Relating to that Gamespy story, I really want to know if Borderlands will be lost in the shuffle. It's a game my friend and I have been talking about playing together, but neither of us have had the time to play it. If the servers are gone, I might not even bother with it.

Only PC version of Borderlands that may have problems I believe.

Is NFS Rivals pretty much an unofficial sequel to Burnout Paradise? Thinking about picking it up for $25 from the Gamefly deal if they don't sell out.

Most Wanted is the game you're looking for that's an official sequel to Burnout Paradise.

 
Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but Saints Row 4 has dropped from $39.99 to $29.99.  I've been keeping a close eye on it waiting for it to hit $20 or less so I can use my credit for it.

It's because a bunch of Deep Silver games are getting Complete/Game of the Year editions. Metro: LL, Saints Row IV, and Dead Island Riptide (which is also getting a Double Pack). There's also rumours that the first two Metro games are getting a re-release on Xbone/PS4 as Metro Redux (which 4A games has confirmed exists, but not as to what Metro Redux actually is, they're saving it for E3)

Deep Silver's really milking their games for all they're worth, apparently.
