  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

You're two days late now. Borderlands will no doubt return because 2K Games and XBL Deals go together like peanut butter and a hooker. Pinball F/X tables...eh, well...you done goofed on that one.

 
I really want to hold out on an Xbox One til a new sku with a 1tb hard drive comes out

I think I will finish my professional exams before I buy one too, all the games on both new systems from both companies aren't anything that makes me want to run out and upgrade yet.

The thought of upgrading makes me wonder if I should keep buying all this digital stuff from these weekly sales.

I play them both. I would rather buy anything on the xbox one or ps4, only because how quickly it is to navigate and load up a game.
I am way more picky with what I buy for the last gen consoles, and found myself getting super cheap. I looked at stuff that is 50 percent off and immediately pass. I look forward to the free titles every month. Despite the fact I have owned almost all of them so far. So, it just turned me into more of a cheapass.

I agree, doesn't seem like there'd be another time for a sale and hopefully we can import or at least redeem the tables on Xbox One but I'm not holding my breath. Still, it's way cheaper than a regular pinball machine. :p

Damnit. I forget what I paid for a code from the LE (which plenty of people got because several copies didn't come with the code), but it was definitely way more than $2. Only got it about a year ago too.

Took them long enough. :p

Yep, I'm a mess LOL What confused me is that the date for the update is dated 2013 (is the old one), but you're right, the 800+mb is the encore version. I just played as Squiggly. Tomorrow I'll try Big Band, it's pretty late here.

Really? That was actually a pretty cool game, I thought. Kind of frantic platforming strategy about making burgers one piece at a time.

Also did the same with the pinball tables. I've been waiting for that for years and it's hard to believe they finally obliged. Even new stuff like Stsr Wars. Too bad some of the newest tables won't have achievements.

I actually bought $40 in MS money just to buy stuff last week, and ended up buying nothing. I think my CAG sense is kicked into high gear these days, I don't want a damn thing unless it's 75% off. I kinda feel like an asshole for it.

So we are getting 4 more Star Wars tables for Pinball FX2, I didn't like too much the last pack, but will also buy the new one when it gets a sale :D Surelly no chievos though, since they reached the 100 limit (it's plainly stupid to have a limitation like that if they continue releasing DLC's).

Also, the collecting achievements in Borderlands Claptrap's DLC are grinding, boring, and... well, I hate them. The items you need to collect are rarely dropped by enemies (claptraps).

So we are getting 4 more Star Wars tables for Pinball FX2, I didn't like too much the last pack, but will also buy the new one when it gets a sale :D Surelly no chievos though, since they reached the 100 limit (it's plainly stupid to have a limitation like that if they continue releasing DLC's).

They should just make it a separate game at this point, Star Wars: Pinball! Would fix the achievement problem (it would be nice if they could all stay in one game, but I want more points to go after!)

If it comes to X1, maybe they will add achievements to those tables. Killer Instinct has 122 achievements with more on the way next season.

Playstation exclusive GZ mission is coming to Xbox May 1st free.

They might have fixed it my now, but there used to be a way you could hide in final boss of Claptrap DLC and leave your Xbox on all night. A bunch of suicide things will kill themselves and drop loot everywhere. I think it took me 2 or 3 nights (5+ hours per night) to get them all.

Yeah, I've read about it, but I don't like to leave my xbox on while I'm doing other things unless it's for download things. I'll farm going between Scorched Snake and Hyperion Dump. I've tried the DLC final boss, but it's too boring, and it's also very slow. Glad you could get it farming while sleeping :p

Same here. Its annoying when you buy something and then the same thing goes on sale repeatedly for cheaper just a few months later. Not to mention when it goes on sale and them becomes a free game shortly after, curse you Deadlight!!!

Just a quick reminder - Rock Band's song "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey will be removed from the marketplace April 30th, in one week. Don't delay and wait to the last minute, cause who knows if it gets removed early a la GH dlc.

So where's mah Rock Band 3 discount tracks MS???

I just want the Xbox One program to start. I'm running out of space on my 360 anyway.
 
Would it be good news or bad news if at E3 they announced external hard drive support for Xbox One and 360?

2tb external drives for you to fill at these sales now...
 
A Gears of War game (can't decide which one they would do, but I think it's safe to say it's coming) and one of the older Trials games.

On a side note, they should consider increasing the number of games they give out.  2 arcades and 2 boxed releases or hell even 3 arcade titles and a boxed release game, even if they are older.  I think that would help curb some criticism and it isn't like there aren't enough arcade titles that could use a boost in terms of visibility and maybe DLC sales. Open that wallet and please some folks MS, dang. /end my 2 cents no one asked for

I have noticed that Australia has just got the new Yugioh game, so other places should have it or should be getting it soon.

I now wish I had got the Batman Origins season pass, as I just saw the price of the new DLC. But most likely it will be on sale again lol.

Cheapassgamer.com where you come looking for sales to spend less money, and end up begging other CAGers to convince you to buy more. BTW, i'm on the fence for that YGO, do you know if this one has that feature where you a card password and pay some points to get it instead of just buying packs.

Finished Deadlight finally. It was OK. Though I can see why a lot of people had buyers remorse when the game came out. I finished the game and all the achievements in under 5 hours. Would be pretty upset with the quality of the game for $15.

Also, only 1.6 million people on the leaderboards? Apparently a lot of people don't take advantage of Games with Gold, or just don't boot up their copies. 

May games with gold predictions: Mass Effect 1 and Geometry Wars.

It's not the length, I can pay $15 for a good game that lasts 5 hours. It's just that I'd feel ripped paying more than $5 for Deadlight. I payed paid $3 for it and I'm very glad, but $5 is also a good price.

That said, free is better :whistle2: And it's worth a playthrough imo.

edit: gammar; paid, paid, paid, paid, paid, paid. fuck, I had to get up from my bed only to correct that (the memory of payed hit me in the head the moment I turned the lights off).
