The people who have trouble with this are probably the same people who think the Souls series is challenging and requires strategy.

Also, Frisky...44 hours to beat Demon's Souls? Did you beat the game and then stand around for 34 hours?

That's exactly the reason I gave when the wife asked why they'd be doing it. Hopefully they do the next season like this past one where they had one villain in the first half, and then another for the second half. It makes it a lot easier to avoid dragging out some of these stories.

I can only speak for myself, but I was discussing beams much later in the game.

I went there to check scores, and figured I'd type up my summary of how many Lebron related articles are on the homepage. I don't really care about him either way. He's like The Rock of the NBA. I'm expecting it to be a Heat/Clippers finals. In game 7, Lebron will bash DWade over the back with a steel chair and then rip off his Heat jersey to reveal a Clippers jersey. Then he'll nail the game winning shot for the Clippers to win the NBA World Championship belt.

That'd be fucking awesome, but probably not scripted enough for the NBA. They're trying to outdo WWE, not just copy them.

Season one is awesome and fun. By the end of season two you'll hate Snow White and Prince Charming, especially when the show has so many awesome characters and they're wasting flashbacks on those two every single episode. Season three was back on track. Actual spoilers below:

They made Peter Pan a bad guy, and the kid who plays him did an awesome job. The rest of the Neverland story is just ok, but gets elevated by the Pan kid's performance.
 
The part in the first God of War that's REALLY hard is the timed section where you have to push/kick multiple boxes to be able to jump from a block up to a ledge. When time runs out, spikes shoot up from the entire floor destroying the box and killing you. This is all in a cave like thing.

It is even harder in the remastered version. My buddy and I almost had to give up at that part while trying to finish the game in one night. It took SO MANY tries to do it. Seriously, fuck that part.

Considering I beat it once on PS3 already, it's not like any of this is new to me.

But factoring in the very PS2-style cutscenes (which don't really bother me) and weird rear touch pad controls, I'd have to say 4 :hot: s out of 5. Again, I'm still in the beginning, so my feelings may change if a particular section proves to be harder on Vita than on PS3.

This is actually funny. Though I'm not sure she could really be termed a villain.

The wife and I watched the show for a while as something to make fun of, but this season it finally got bad enough that we just didn't even enjoy that anymore. Those Lost writers are the stupidest people on the planet.

You're joking, right? Regina is the hot one. Her and then Belle. Snow White follows up in 3rd. Cameron is at best the 4th hottest on the show. She's such a boring character both in looks and personality.

Not at all. I found Demon's Souls to be very tedious and boring but loved God of War and found nothing really challenging at all.

Those spinning blades are the reason I didn't finish GOW. I certainly spent a lot more time on them than this video and still never got past the second set of them. Thanks for dredging up painful memories.

 
To Frisky or anyone else still playing Demon's Souls: how the hell do you play a knight? His fluted armor makes him fat-roll everywhere and then I only have stamina left for wheezing and dying. I had to take off all his armor just to fight Tower Knight. Then he was a breeze.
 
Don't you love it when you keep trying over and over again to earn a trophy and then give up because you think it's glitched, only to find out you earned it two days ago but missed the on-screen pop because you were watching SNL or drifting off or something?

Or how about when you're going for a trophy in ZP2, hitting an orbit over and over again (on purpose, mind you) that essentially makes the trophy you're going for impossible to achieve? I did that last week and it was glorious.

Focus on leveling endurance so you don't fat roll anymore, that raises your max (equipped) equipment burden (your armor + what is equipped in your 4 hand slots), you stop fat rolling when your current equip burden is half or less than your maximum equip burden (IE. if your max equip burden is 60 you must equip items weighing in total less than or equal to 30 in order to fast roll). Endurance also raises your max stamina (up till 40 endurance) making it one of the most important stats for a melee character. In the meantime take off glove, helm, and boot pieces one by one until you can quick roll.

Also keep in mind, in addition to weighing quite a bit, fluted armor is considered "heavy" which means each piece cause stamina to regen slightly slower. From the item description "Its heaviness slightly impedes stamina regeneration." Pretty much all the metal armors slightly impede stamina regen though so it's just something you have to deal with if you want to wear heavier armor. Unless you want to look like the burger king, it's the only metal armor that doesn't impede stamina regen, but you don't get it until late in the game.
