I'm not comparing games based on genre, which is stupid, but you can compare games based on quality (being entirely subjective, of course). As someone who has played Titanfall, inFamous, Ryse and Killzone, I can fairly say which does stand out. Is Titanfall fun? Yes, but so is BF4, which has refined the formula in its own right. Forza is just another car game and as such, as dull as you can go.

Titanfall is just another bro shooter. Deal with it.

Ryse is a mediocre hack and slash game, whose use of mythology fucking sucks.

Killzone was farted out to showcase the PS4 strengths.

inFamous is the first true quality exclusive.

Its pretty close, I say.  I hope the Order is good but I'm afraid its just gonna be another third-person cover shooter that looks nice. Sunset Overdrive looks like a ton of fun and its Insomniac back at doing what it does best and then u got Quantum Break which could blow our minds when we see it at e3 soon.

I did enjoy Infamous but it was way too short and the story was lacking alot. 

I hope Titanfall continues to grow with the updates its gonna recieve in the next 3-6 months because its actually the first game to show a glimpse of what next gen multiplayer games can do, and no its not just another bro shooter. This year is the year of the 3rd party titles then exclusives anyway.

Time to put on my mercenary(breakfuss) mask :)

That's very wrong. Developers aren't putting things on vita for laughs. They're making good money.

Vita is a weird system. Low sales, very high attach rate, very strong digital sales.

But seriously, I think the 'exclusives' people care about generally conform with what they know.    For example, I love Uncharted because I've played Uncharted.   I've never played a Halo game, so it has absolutely no hold over me.    I will buy the next Uncharted the day it releases.  I won't even read Halo reviews.   This is not because Halo is good or bad, but simply because it's outside of my radar.    Just like I don't know much about hit tv shows in, say, Europe or Asia.

I don't have the time, energy, money, or desire to keep up with other systems.  Games like 'Wonderful 101' are just words to me, just like Uncharted is just a 'word' to people vested in other gaming eco-systems.   

That's why no E3 list "wipes the floor" with any other.   That's just silly talk.   I don't care if MS is coming out with a new Gears, Halo, and Forza this year... I'd still take a new Uncharted over all that, because those are meaningless to me.    And it's why someone vested in the MS eco-system doesn't give a flying fuck about Uncharted, Infamous, Drive Club, or even The Last Guardian.   They wouldn't care about D*Souls over if Dark hadn't gone multi - 'Demon's Souls' would just be one of those games that passed them by. Maybe, maybe, some old ps2 games revived at E3  would be an exception and be a big deal since ps2 was so dominant and it will hit nostalgia-bones on so many people.

I'm surprised, I mainly drudge going digital on the Vita because of the proprietary memory card price and mainly go digital just for PS+ stuff and psx/psp games. I do have a 32 Gig card if that says anything (I wish 64 gig was out when I got it), and I'm going to be deeply sad when I have to get Monster Monpiece and SAO Vita digital because that's the only way they're going to be released. Physical all the way except for indie games I say and the aforementioned psx/psp games.

I hope they put more Atari 2600 games on PS4. That Nidhogg one looks pretty good, and shows that they're capable of bringing other classics from the 80s to the platform.

They're coming to the PS4 and E.T. will be the first game for PS+ and I can't wait. I heard Kaboom will be the 2nd game but was delayed because Sony is making the touch pad on the DS4 work instead of the paddle.

I easily put in over 100 in BF4. It was well worth the money. That and AC4 for me at least.

Some people don't enjoy racing games. Some people dont enjoy open world games.

Regarding Second Son, I wasn't aware that repetitive gameplay, a lacking story and an uninspired protagonist were the mark of true quality. At least it doesn't overstay its welcome, so there's that.

And I thought we all knew already that neither x1 or ps4 had a lineup worth the cost of entry? Unless they announce some killer games this e3 I doubt we will "have to have" either until next year.

As someone who owns both systems I dont think thats accurate. Xbone has Ryse (which is way too short and should be a bargain bin buy at most), Dead Rising 3 (which while I havent played doesnt appeal to me in the slightest), Forza (I think the game looks and plays great) and TItanfall (which is fun but got stale quickly and the first DLC was a disappointment). PS4 has Infamous (which I liked but was WAY too short story-wise), Killzone (which I didnt mind) and Knack (also a wait for the bargain bin game). The PS+ games so far for PS4 have been good too but no true standouts. I just think all in all neither system is miles ahead of the other in terms of exclusives so far.

Truth. Right now it's barely worth owning either system imho. I own a PS4 and all those games sans Killzone, and well there's not much really! I think we'll really know once the next Halo/Uncharted comes out, but really what's most important is new franchises...and right now those aren't all too hot. Should I have waited....very likely, but I already have the system and will get games as they come out (Destiny is probably my next buy unless Watch Dogs is good).

I think theres also a different perspective on CAG in general. I know I paid for my PS4 at launch with Amazon credit, and I got the Titanfall bundle back in March for a whopping $18 out of pocket thanks to flipping an AWD PS4 and using some GS credit as well. If I had to spend real money on either system I definitely would have waited until we saw more stuff like Arkham Knight, Uncharted 4, etc.

 
Gran Tourismo PS4 is what I want. There will be lots of indie games till then. And a few big titles. Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil is going to suck up major hours from my life lol
 
I guess it depends of what you're looking for really. I think there has to be a game or series that would make you buy a console. I believe that is what Halo has done for the Xbox brand. In my case, I've been invested in the Sony ecosystem, since my favorite series was an exclusive of them until this generation. That said, it will run better on the PS4, so I justify my purchase as such.

Did you run into crashes with the update? It froze on me 2 out of 3 times when throwing a bomb in the Black Market. :( Not sure if that specific circumstance was coincidence or not. If not everyone is getting crashes maybe I should try deleting it and reinstalling.

I guess, but seeing items in the walls is useful. If you're gong for score then gens are good, especially in the ice caves where there's free "bombs" (mines), and even if not you sometimes find items in the walls. I've gotten a jet pack a few times at least that way. I think that other item makes the glasses obsolete, so once you have that, yes. Though I'm not 100% sure if that one shows items. Probably, though.
