Anyone here besides me have the KZ: Shadow Fall season pass? I still play the MP pretty regularly, but I'ma need some consistent partners for when the co-op comes out. I'd like to avoid hitting up a trophy thread just to find someone to play it with.

They localized Last Mission, and they brought the voice actors back to do this. That's not just shining up audio and visuals.

And they added that 30 minute audio drama as well. I forgot about that, because it was crappy and I was trying to get it out of my mind, but that was another thing they added to that collection.

I love these remasters. If they announce a GTA3/Vice City/San Andreas Collection, I'm getting it day one. Tales PS4 Collection with localized Vesperia? Day one. Mass Effect PS4 Collection? Day one. I hate Halo, but I know there are tons of people in the U.S. who will buy an X1 because of that collection, just like I would buy one if they announced any of these examples I listed as exclusives on the X1.

I would probably be in for Mass Effect PS4 collection. One of the few games/series I never got a chance to play on my PS3 or XBox 360. I could see maybe picking up GTA5. Not sure. I hated GTA4 and never played the others. If I hadn't already played Tomb Raider 2013 I would have grabbed the PS4 definitive edition. I still might but not till it is $20 or less.

Not much else I would care to play again or I missed the first time that I care to play now.

Sony's problem is that they make excellent games that do not necessarily appeal to the mass market. They had the same problem with the PS3, where they had to have a dozen different amazing games before anyone would consider picking one up. There was never that one game, no matter how good, that would make it a must have. Even Naughty Dog games don't sell as well as they should.

I'm with you for X1 exclusives. I have both systems and would have stuck with PS4 if I had to choose between the two, but the Ones current lineup wipes the floor with PS4's. As for Halo rereleases, the potential to play classic online multiplayer with next gen features would be pretty appealing for a lot of people.

Yeah, Infamous is really the only standout exclusive I can think of for PS4 so far...but it actually has a standout exclusive, whereas XB1 doesn't seem to.

I would never buy an HD upgrade of a game I already had. All the PS3 HD games I've got are of games I had never played previously.

As a general rule, I've found that if you price your stuff to sell (so, tied with lowest price assuming both are complete, or best price for a complete version) almost every game i put up sells within 48 hours. I guess what i'm saying is that you don't really need to know 'price history' so much as 'current listed prices'.

i actually enjoyed the direct sequels, but they're far different so i can understand not digging them--- ender's game (and side-novels like shadow) are kind of action-y, whereas the direct sequels are more scif-fi philosophical about genocide.

When you guys talk about the Hell level in Spelunky, does it take place at a elementary school dance? Because that's where I am now and it feels similar to what y'all describe.
 
I can't believe these Walking Dead episodes still run like complete shit.  Do they increase the load times on purpose because the episodes are so short?  I love hearing a trophy pop, then waiting five seconds to see it appear on the screen because the game's still loading.

 
I love the HD remakes and own almost all of them. Theres still no way I would consider any of them console sellers. At all. Theyre great compliments tones experiences but thats it.

EDIT 3 hours later: No fuck ing clue what I was trying to say.  Stupid phone.

I just finished playing through WolfAmongUs Ep 2 and 3 and WD2 Ep 3 and I was wondering if my hard drive was failing, they ran so bad. I still enjoyed them but damn, some of those black screen delays between scenes and trophy popping. :wall:

 
Err. Well, you might not want to update Spelunky. Got to black market in my daily challenge and it froze the PS3. :(

EDIT: was able to repeat it. It happens when you first throw a bomb in the Black Market. It doesn't happen every time, but it happened 2 out of 3 times tonight. Ugh. I hope they fix it soon.

I was just coming in here to say TWD S2E3 ran worse than any other episode/Tell Tale game has for me to date.

Did you guys also play the 400 days DLC prior to playing this episode? That's the only reason I could come up with on what it ran so shitty, since it was pulling people from the 400 days save file into the game based on who was in the ending from that.

The first time I played a Death Mode level in Sound Shapes, I knew there was no way in hell I was gonna get a platinum on it.

But here I stand 14 months later with the shiny trophy on my profile.

All this talk about HD remake collections...

I own quite a few for the PS3.  MOST are games I haven't played before (I bought the Ico/SotC collection because I had never played Ico).  Never played any of the PS2 Ratchet and Clanks.  Or any of the older Tomb Raider games.  Same with Metal Gear (had only played 4).  Same with Sly.  Only real exception was I bought the GoW set after already beating all of the games in it but had sold all of them not long after but I got it during one of the Black Friday sales for super cheap.

I wouldn't drop 40 bucks for any of them.

Oh...wait...I spent 40 to get the FFX and X-2.

*throws down microphone and leaves*

 
Eight hours in on FFX HD and I'm wondering how my ten year old self managed to get so far without a fucking guide. Granted, I blazed through the Sinspawn miniboss when they're summoning Sin and he owns everybody at the beach. But random encounters have led me to about 4 or 5 game overs, just because bad luck.

I'm pulling a handsomepete here.

I don't know if "wipe the floor" is the term I'd use, but yeah retail exclusives on Xbone are quite a bit better. PS4 more than makes up for it with their exclusive downloadable games, but a lot of people don't like to consider those.

Are we calling a hack n' slash, a car game and another FPS a better lineup of exclusives, just because? inFamous pretty much destroys them, quality and gameplay wise.

And while I dislike the idea of HD rereleases, it helps to reach audiences the originals games never got to (or add some delicious trophies).

Holy crap did I get lucky! Bought an 80 gb backwards compatible ps3 today for $190, nearly perfect condition in original box, all original cables and manuals and it's in perfect shape. Best part, it has a 300 gb HD installed that the seller had no idea!!!!! Score!!! HD alone is worth $40!

I hate saying stuff like this, but I feel saying inFamous destroys Titanfall, Forza, and whatever the third game is (honestly I haven't kept up with most X1 releases) is highly a product of your own preference to that sort of game. Forza is an amazing racing game and Titanfall a great MP shooter that does a lot to shake up a formula that has been left largely untouched since CoD4.

I'm not saying inFamous isn't a good game (I've yet to play it so I can't comment more than what I've heard anecdotally), but I think it's hard to compare it to three games not the least bit similar to it and say it's far superior to all of them.

The Xbone exclusives definitely appeal to a more broad audience than the PS4 ones.

I'd say top 5 would be Dead Rising 3, Forza, Titanfall, Garden Warfare, and Ryse vs. Infamous, Killzone, Knack, The Show 14, and FFXIV.

Tough games to compare.
