Damn if the rumors are true about PS Plus, those games are not for me... :(  Already have NBA 2k for PS4, not sure I want to play on PS3

 
I wouldn't mind getting NBA 2k14 for a IGC. I haven't really played since 2k12 and I have no plans on buying a sports game until they get things rolling on PS4/X1

I beat it a few days ago and just working on the trophies, it had a good amount of content for a game I bought for $3.75 and others can get for free through ps+. Highly enjoyed it.

Also, the ps blog post from today about the sly collection on vita being out today does not mention cross buy at all.

I would like it if they did it on PS4. The PS3/360/PC version really feels surprisingly dated after having played a fair bit of the PS4 version.

Yeah, but as Tyler already said this is the EU list. I would prefer it be on PS3 for us Americans (commy) for my own personal, selfish reasons.

In unrelated news, I just saw AC4 PS3 on sale at Target for $20. Thought about it. Decided not now since I wouldn't be playing it right away. Tough call though.
 
So as my card shows, I am now "playing" PES 2014.  Since it was free and Stotch was no doubt "playing" it as well I felt like looking up the trophy list.  Found out you can pretty much set this thing on auto pilot.   So here I am drugged up at home "working" while "playing" PES 2014 for easy trophies.  Seriously, its nice to get a free rental (ps plus amiright?) put it on the easiest setting, score one goal by just running up to it and then getting the ball back and standing over it until the time expires.  I feel like an idiot even doing that but its so easy and I can do other things in between.

 
I started Runner 2 on Vita. That game is pretty awesome. It's not normally my type of game but there's just so much going on and it looks great.

 
I was so very wrong about the Vita Slim. The hardware is better in every way than the OLED model, even the screen isn't noticeably worse than the OLED on it's own. Persona 4 Golden looks every bit as bright and amazing and was the first game I started up on the OLED. Going to try Muramasa in a moment since that's another game that really looked amazing. I didn't even think the size difference would be that major but it's night and day and I could feel it before I had even gotten it out of the box all the way.

Now I need to get past that stupid challenge 10 on GoW with those stupid cheating goats so I can move my memory card and profile over.

I kind of sort of want a vita slim but don't really have anything wrong with the old one so I'll probably pass. Good to hear it's awesome though. More people should buy one and ditch their awful ass 3DS(s).

 
So what are the improvements to the vita hardware?  Convince me to buy one.  Go!

have fun with the training performance trophy... Was the only one that was difficult... damn controls and having to hit them at the right time, took about an hour and a half for me and I am a Soccer and FIFA addict. (Platinum'd FIFA 14). Other than that super easy auto pilot trophies.

1 gb internal memory, longer battery life, and regular micro USB adapter to charge... besides being thinner, that is about it.

I saw that. I am looking forward to it actually. I dont care if I cant plat this game. The free plus games, for the most part, I just get the easy trophies and play through the main SP and get what I can. Only games like Sleeping Dogs do I care and really go for it since I loved that game.

 
BTW I'm also enjoying my Slim a lot. It just feels so much better to play. Muramasa Rebirth looks great. Still a stupid, stupid game, though. Thankfully I'm almost finished with it.

I just got a "Your battery is low" message. I've had wifi on the whole time and it says my save is 4 hours in (I've been playing MR this entire charge, and it's the first charge.) I'm not sure if the timer increments when you die or not, though; there are some cheap as hell bosses in the game that have specific tricks to beat, so some of them take a few tries. Add that to the fights being ~10 minutes long and I've probably got at least an hour of gameplay that may or may not be counted, depending on how they handle that.

Yes, I have been waiting and am going to buy the set. Of course. Also going to order the t-shirt then. I've been telling you people that the LCD's great for months. But I'm glad people are finally getting on the Slim bandwagon.

The better triggers, smaller rear touchpad, and improved start/select buttons make a big difference, too. I also really like the isn't-glowing-bright-blue-constantly PS button (notification light moved to the top of the unit).

I am glad to hear the slim is an improvement but for anyone who has one, is it worth upgrading if you have an orignal vita?

 
Yeah, I want that new Slim Vita hotness. But PS4 first. New TV second. Unless it looks like I could sell my "fat" Vita for something close to the cost of the Slim. Then I'd upgrade sooner.

 
The Slim is (supposedly) also better for nail-biters like me who have trouble opening the Vita game slot in that it makes the slot easier to open. Then I wouldn't have to use the corner of the carts themselves to pry the slot open every time! :whee:

Those look awesome! I'm pretty much done buying junk these days though. I'd rather look at a picture on the internet than clutter up my house with that stuff, mini or not.

waiting on Monster Monpiece, I hate how games are only for PSN and PSN update time is so random..

they should just do it on midnight of PDT or something..

Go figure that's the one thing so far that I like less. The flap itself is better but I find it slightly harder to open.

Yeah, kind of outrageous, BUT I have gotten such a crazy amount of value out of Spelunky that I'm happy to send some money to Derek Yu, and I get the cool mini-figs. I will look the other way when the price comes up, though. Ha!
