Red Faction Guerrilla is just GTA on Mars. Who knew?

(It was the oldest digital game in my backlog so I figured I'd try it. I also started the Sam & Max game, but felt like I picked the wrong episode due to the flash-forward)

 
I hate games, there are too many I want to play and not enough time to play them. I quit. well until I have some free time.

No. It was in development hell for a long time after it was supposed to be multiplat, but it was rescued by Nintendo.

I guess at some point I might have to consider getting a Wii U. Maybe I should wait for some reviews. I'm only going off of my love for Ninja Gaiden Black right now.

RF Guerilla is awesome.

And you can't destroy a building by taking out the supports with a sledgehammer in GTA.

You'll never have enough free time, the sooner you accept this the quicker you can get around to prioritizing what little you do have, or sink into depression at the realization.

I'm beginning to come to terms with this. I've realized that just because a game is decent and I'd enjoy it, doesn't mean I have to play it. I'm going to try to play the best games available from here on out, and play those "decent" games if I ever run out of something to play. Easier said than done of course, but I'm gonna try to stick with it.

I have been better but I think it's also somewhat do to the fact that my backlog grew so large last gen. I've only gotten a PS4 and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm also literally only buying 1 game at a time this generation. I have Assassin's 4 right now...won't buy something else until I finish it.

I also skipped over a bunch of stuff to go play The Last Of Us. I'm glad I did, loved that game. I'm getting there but some of these games just pull at me from time to time. Gamer first world problems.

I seem to have fallen into the opposite approach, playing a lot of crappy games because I can get through them quick, and putting off games that I know I'll enjoy.

I don't know what I'm doing with my life.

When I first joined here, I had recently started my new job. I went from not having money to buy games at all, to finally having some, and then all of a sudden OMG $10 GAMES! Coupled with the lack of free time because of said job, it got out of hand very quickly.

This has been my approach. I check How Long to Beat more than Metacritic to pick my next game. I think I should stop doing that.

 
As my sig shows, right now I'm playing or in the midst of four games. I know we all have varying approaches, but this is how I select mine.

I basically started these games, play them and just stick with the one grabbing me the most. So far, I'm having a blast in PJ Shooter, so that's my main jam. After that, its FF X HD (fuck Evrae, pulled some bs on me with haste, closing up with the swoop and poison breath, all in a row). Then Watch_Dogs and Transistor in equal measure (although I've spent time with Transistor and found it enthralling).

Yeah the on-the-floor and backdoor announcements that come out during E3 week sometimes rival the big shows. Especially when it's a lot of smaller games and indies that I'm usually more interested in.

You won't really understand what's going on, but look at it this way: I have the plat for ToX1 and watched this trailer with the sound off (since I'm at work), but I really don't want to watch it with the sound on. It was cool seeing lots of characters I knew from ToX1, but I fear that hearing what's going on will risk spoilers.
