2014 Yardsale thread

Yardsales have been a bust for me so far this year.  As usual, spent most of the morning out and only came away with a cd (this time was Pink Floyd's the final cut Anniversary Edtion), but going home I saw a "dvd sale" sign.  This is my haul for $30:

PS1

Hot Wheels Extreme Racing

Medal of Honor

Medal of Honor Underground

Star Wars Demolition

PS2

007 Nightfire

Army Men: Green Rogue w/8mb memory card

Black & Bruised

Defender

Evergrace

Extermination

Gadget Racers

Goldeneye Rogue Agent

Gungriffon Blaze (2 copies)

Jak II (Greatest Hits)

Jak 3

Kinetica

Oni

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X

Seek and Destroy

Simpsons Road Rage

Starsky & Hutch

Thunder Strike: Operation Phoenix

Xbox

Return to Castle Wolfenstein Tides of War (no manual)

Wii

Cooking Mama Cook Off

Movies

Fanboys

Appleseed

+5 more that are for friends

Only the Wolfenstein game was in fair shape, all the others included manuals and are in mint shape.  I know none of these games are really worth much, but I bought them to try out.  Even if I don't like some of the games, I have some trade bait for PS2 completeists or great replacement cases for some of my more beat up ones.  Also, the person running the sale said they had another 10 or 12 cases of dvds and games that they were going to put out tomorrow.

Found another old guy with an Atari lot.  Looks like all the manuals and extras are there.  System and 2 controllers not pictured.  Porky's?

Here are some other goodies.

Not pictured.  Weezer - Raditude.  Records.  Black GC w/ MKDD, no controllers.  The game of Perfection.  Gifts for family.

LOL. My dad let me watch Porky's when I was way too young to be watching anything like that. He finally just gave in to incessant pestering so I would shut up (which I totally get now). I'm sure there were tons of things in there that went over my head at that age, but there were a few things I did catch. That movie taught me what the term "get laid" meant.

Sorry, but what does MKDD stand for? How much did you get for that stuff not listed?

I think that sale would probably have some game boy pokemon games. I would also guess mario kart double dash for the GameCube or Halo 1 or 2 for the Xbox.

It will yield $20 gameboy systems. $30 PS1. $100 NES. No games.

This is a textbook example of the type of sales I avoid. It's a reseller or someone who's been eBaying, so you're not going to get any good deals there. I'd go there later in the day, if at all, to maybe score some cheap systems once they're starting to get desperate to make a sale.

+1. The ideal yardsale seller has no idea what they have or how valuable it may be.

I have to agree, any sale that mentions video games on CL will be picked by a reseller, local game shop or emailed before hand and will be a waste of time. If you want to attend these sales then I would put them last on the list. The best sales are the ones that don't advertise games.

It was a fake ad?

My guess is it was a goose chase to keep you away from the actual sales
All good guesses but I have to go with SaraAB's guess of xbox games. I picked up Dragon ball z sagas ($2) and Battlefront 2 ($5) along with Tales of Vesperia for the 360 ($5). The sale actually wasnt that bad. Gamecubes (x4) and NES were $25 each complete w/ a controller, some guy came in while I was there and bought all 5 for $100 (crazy sauce in my mind but more power to him). I had a wavebird in my hand for $5 but they couldnt find the adapter.

This was another sale I have been to selling stuff they bought at a pawn shop liquidation auction locally. Now I went to this auction, and stuff was going for astronomical prices and the videogame stuff was like lots 1100-1300. After 3 hours (I kept checking back in periodically) they were only up to lot 300 something so I gave up. There were only a handful of decent items in every lot, something like 300 wii game lot would have maybe a dozen decent games like Twilight Princess or Juon the Grudge. So I gave up on the auction deal. Now the point of the story is I think I have found every decent game that was sold that day at various yard sales. I found the Juon (with pawn shop sticker) and bought about 60 gamecube games plus about the same number of empty cases/coverarts/manuals for gamecube for $40 AND I found the playstation lot as well that I was able to cherry pick. Now this sale today had the systems and random controllers lot. Moral of the story is dont get caught up in auctions like that!

SaraAB you can choose from Crash Team Racing, a couple different Legacy of Kains all for ps1, or just something random. PM me.

Ironically I found parappa 2 this weekend as well, the only game I have found so far, it was $2 which considering the prices here, was very cheap. Thanks for the great contest!

Didn't you get a Betamax player awhile back? Just wondering if you sold it and what you got for it. This would have been a couple years? I'm always on the lookout for one since that post. Saw some tapes not too long ago but passed. Too much junk already.

I would have definitely claimed that NES as soon as I saw the $25 price. You could have bundled that with your games to get it all for cheaper. For me personally the NES is way more important of a buy. You will see a tons of XBOX games this summer. The chances of another NES are slim unless your name is slowdive. That system is getting harder to find in the wild all the time.

I wouldn't pay 25.00 for an nes. I can only sell one around 40 shipped, maybe a little more. After shipping and fees it isn't worth it. Maybe I pay that with a few solid games...

How about a bundle of the Xbox games at 12 and NES 25. The bundle offer would be $25 for all of it hoping to get it for $30. That's only $18 more for the NES if your willing to pay 12 for the games anyways.

[quote name="Bing147" post="11858767" timestamp="1403323907"]Ya but no guarantee they take that and even 18 is borderline for me[/quote]doesn't hurt trying/asking, but you didn't want it, well, that's your decision.

If your building a collection a $20 NES is a steal compared to what they have to pay you on EBay. For somebody not at your level of the game it could be their find of the summer.

That's a tough call. I rarely leave any "retro stuff", but I did leave a N64 (with 3 dirty/worn controllers and 3 junk games) for $25 today. I have so many of them, it is not worth the effort to clean it. Someone was there yesterday (pop up sale) and cherry picked a few "Mario" games. They did leave one game that I picked up.

It kills me to leave a nintendo system and I have only left a couple NESes. I think they were both $100 or more. I know I made a big mistake and left a top loader years ago that was under $30 (no dogbone) that was due more to being stubborn than anything though.

----

There is a new player in my territory. I was at a sale and an older guy (probably 55 or so) pulled up and asked if they had video games. When they said no, he left and didn't even look. This is probably the guy that has beat me to some sales, since games seem to be the only thing he is looking for.

Right now, for me, if I find some retro console that works with OEM controller for $25 or less I would buy it. That is, like you said, for building a collection. If its for reselling maybe someone would not even bother.

Not going to be able to post any pics of my finds for a few weeks.  So here are some board games I found along with Perfection not pictured.  I like all kinds of games not just video and some of you might also.  Game of Dungeon Dice anyone?

med_gallery_354731_8396_929279.jpg

Good luck this weekend all you CAGs.

I left Stop Thief yesterday. The lady wouldn't budge from $3. I already have it, but I wanted to buy a second one in case my original wasn't complete. I did buy a couple of monopoly games from the 60s yesterday "for parts" ;)  Nice find on Dungeon Dice, I don't have that one in my collection!

Went out yesterday after looking at ads on CL, picked 2 to hit:

Estate sale:
Advertised lots of tools, did not disappoint. Person took care of their toys, kept the manuals, and made notes for things. Prices were good, even better with 20% off since it was the second day of the sale.

Purchased:
Carpenters L square (8"x12") $2.50
Craftsman Pump N Cut tree pruner $20

Sale I just happened upon trying to get home:
They had a bunch of CDs and Wii games with no cases baking in the sun. I dug through and had maybe 2-3, which I abandoned.

Purchased:
Nikon S70 digital camera (had box, charger, manuals) $15

My wife has one just like it, going to leave this in my glove compartment for my blog.

Sale advertising games (NES-modern) opened at 10a:
Arrived at 945, from the car I could see it was already open. Walk up, it's the guy who goes to local the comic convention and community center sales. He's a reseller with crap prices. Multiple NES consoles marked $40, games usually start at $5 for cart only. I just huffed "what a joke" to myself and left. He could have saved a ton of people time and money to drive out there by putting "you see me everywhere buying all the games from under you and reselling at eBay or higher prices" in his damn ad.

Hadn't been out in a while, glad I went because I already used the tree pruner on my crabapple tree.

It's hard to justify buying stuff just for reselling, especially since there is a lot of work involved with reselling, it's NOT as easy as everyone thinks. It's only really worth it if you are getting incredible deals, $25 per console isn't worth it. The profit margin has to be $20 or more per item after time, cleaning, testing, shipping fees, eBay fees paypal fees etc or else it's not worth it.

I saw a GBA SP bundle yesterday for $20, would not budge on price. It was all crap kids games.. Should I have bought it... Maybe.. But do I need it... No.. Besides I don't really like to buy from people who are being crappy about bargaining and have prices that are too high in general. It's more of a principle thing than anything since I can choose whom my money goes to. I would rather see them sell nothing all day long.

Gonna take pics when I get home, but I just grabbed a big lot for $75 that included Earthbound, Secret of Mana, and Illusion of Gaia. More later.

Nothing crazy today, but some ok stuff.

Bought a Pink DS (No charge or stylus) New Super Mario Bros DS & Mario Kart Wii for $10.

Bought a Gameboy Color with Pokemon Red (battery still works) for $10

Bought Pokemon Soulsilver (cart only) for $12

Probably the best thing I got was Animal Crossing Wii Speak Bundle w/ Strat Guide and Super Princess Peach DS for $7. The Animal Crossing is absolutely perfect condition. They said they opened it but never even played it. Certainly looks that way.

Wow I had the worst luck today.  Went to over a dozen sales today and out of that there were only 2 that, at some point, had a bunch of games.

The first said they had a Wii and a some games that somebody bought altogether for $20.  This one I must have just missed since I got there when they were still putting stuff out.

The second said she had tons of Nintendo consoles/games etc. and some guy ended up buying the whole lot for $40 an hour or so before I got there.  Sigh...

All in all a pretty frustrating day due to flippers.  I did pick up a few OK deals though.

Wario Land Shake It                                      $4

First Party White PS3 Controller                    $2

NES Power Pad                                             $3

HP 20in LCD Monitor                                     $2

Meat Loaf: Bat out of Hell 8 Track tape (lol)  FREE

I did ok today, got a broken Wii, 2 original xbox controllers which are really hard to find now and a case and disk copy of kingdom hearts ps2 all for $2. The wii actually does look broken but hopefully I can flip it for a few bucks.

Nice score on the Bat Out of Hell 8-track!! One of my top 5 favorite albums.

Found a couple game things today:

$5 A cardboard box w/ a Nintendo 64 console (no wires, 1 controller, jumper pak), Black Sports Dreamcast console (no wires/controllers), NES Console (no wires/controllers), 2 SNES controllers, Mario All-Stars, a bunch of original XBOX controllers, and a few NES sports games.

$0.50  Gray Wavebird Controller sans dongle.

Aside from that, got some nice stereo equiment (an amp and a couple turntables). And also got a massive record collection of all rock for $30 (Bat Out of Hell included lol, bu not like I need another copy).

I can't wait to see the SNES lot Mike_TV got!

And my 2 cents about $25 NESs. If it's worth it to you, buy it to keep. If not, don't worry, another one will eventually show up for the price you want to pay. Yard-saleing I have found some incredible things I though I'd only ever be able to go via eBay. Be patient, stick with it and eventually you'll find what you're looking for.

Went back for round 2 of games at the dvd sale I stopped at yesterday and today was about GBA carts.

GBA

Pokemon Pinball

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team

Advance Wars

Shaman King: Master of Spirits

Warioland 4

Top Gear Rally

Nightmare Before Christmas: The Pumpkin King

Drill Dozer

Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs

Zela II: The Adventure of Link

Kim Possible: Revenge of Monkey Fist

DS

Gardening Mama

and a couple more dvds for $15.  Finally, a decent weekend.

Went to a big indoor sale. Not much to see a video game reseller was there and his prices are terrible. Another guy had a booth with a decent amount of NES carts, I saw Kid Icarus, Castlevania and several other good games. He has SNES/genesis/ps2/Xbox/Wii/n64 stuff and he pretty much wanted eBay prices. Also gave in for that $20 super Metroid and $10 star fox.

But I did get Sega smash pack 2, Capcom classics collections ps2 sealed, and Beavis and Butthead for Genesis for $15.

I stopped at another both and got Double Dash case and game with bonus disc for $5

Here it is common to see nes, usually cheaper than 25. Snes is the hard to find system. I've never seen a turbografx here even in resell shops or our local half price books type store.

I've never seen a Turbo either, outside of my own Craigslist pickup from a few years ago. Have seen multiple NES and SNES over the years - usually I buy the SNES and leave the NES unless they're super cheap. It's not worth trying to sell one on ebay considering most of them barely work.

Had a long day today and not that productive, but at least there was a slow trickle of good games throughout.

IMG_2094.jpg

:wii: Kororinpa: Marble Mania and :gc: Zelda: Four Swords Adventures were $2.50 each.

:wii: Donkey Kong Country Returns and :ds: New Super Mario Bros. were $5 each.

:ps2: Digimon World Data Squad and
image.gif
Spawn were $2 each.

:ds: Pink DS Lite (no charger, haven't tested yet but probably works) was $5.

And the Ti-83+ Calculator was $1.49 at a thrift last week.

IMG_2095.jpg

Also grabbed these :360: guitars for $1 each - gotta love it.

OK, here we go! All of the stuff below I purchased from the same guy who was a having a giant garage cleaning out sale. He says he buys storage lots and ended up having a lot of good stuff in addition to the games. I probably only looked through half of his stuff (I spent 1.5 hours digging through his garage) and the total price of everything was $95. I would have haggled a little more, but Earthbound. He's got my card and I helped him by moving stuff out, so hopefully he'll give me a call if he finds anymore.

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24234]

Alright, here's the best part of the haul! Earthbound, Illusion of Gaia, and Secret of Mana, with a Super Gameboy, Castlevania Adventure, and some other games. It took every ounce of will power not to flip right the hell out when he brought out a drawer with these games.

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24235]

Next up, a bunch of manuals and posters. It's a shame he didn't have the Earthbound guide, but that Secret of Mana poster is awesome.

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24236]

Here's an N64, a bunch of games (Hexen, Mischief Makers, Guantlet, etc.) Megaman.EXE Battle Chips, Mega Man Powered Up, Sonic Rivals, wireless NES controllers, Dead Island, and a Club Nintendo bag. Not sure what to do with the Battle Chips, but I figure I can find a friend who wants them or just put them on eBay. The N64 will go to MAGFest.

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24237]

Two Gameboy Colors (the sound in one doesn't work, but I think I can fix that), two GB cameras, Kirby's Dreamland 2, Oracle of Seasons, Darkwing Duck, other games, and a GBC to PC cable.

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24238]

Two original XBoxes and a PS2 with cords and controllers for MAGFest.

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24239]

Some random Wii and PS2 games for MAGFest, along with Nightmare Before Christmas Trivial Pursuit and a TI-82 (picked up for flipping, but I just realized 82's are kinda worthless).

[sharedmedia=gallery:images:24240]

And lastly a Game Gear with a carrying case and a bunch of games.

I gotta go through and test most of it, but it's a pretty epic haul!

I hate You :D/

Illusion of Gaia is worth between $10 and $20, and is definitely worth.

Forgot to post a picture but I also found a boox called Codex Serafinianus. Didn't realize it was worth $75 when I offered it to my friends on Facebook and now they're fighting over it. oy vey......

I slept in today, but my sister went with our Aunt and had some great luck.

She picked me up Simpsons Season 10 for $2 (she said it was a bit weird, as I have Seasons 1-9 and she mentioned that and they dropped the price from $3 to $2, lol) It's the Bart Head collector's edition (after I waited forever to get Season 6 so I wouldn't have the Homer head) but I'd said to her a while back if I found them cheap enough, I didn't care and also just mentioned to her a day or two ago that I probably wasn't going to get 10 or later seasons unless I found them fairly cheap.

She also got me The Best of Star Trek: TOS DVD for 50 cents (a 4 episode set, which I have to slightly doubt it's "Best of" status as it doesn't have The Omega Glory, lol).

She got some other DVDs for herself and our dad that were all reasonably priced at $1-$2 (Coach Season 1, Invasion "The Complete (One Season) Series", that TCM Lucille Ball 4-Movie set, and the Back to the Future Trilogy (the older DVD verison).

Finally, she found Pokemon Pearl for $2 (game only), which tops any game find I've found this year, lol.

Decent week - though the first thing of the day was a crushing defeat.

1st sale was at 7am - listed old video games. I got to the street a few min before. Couldn't find anything and the ad didn't give the house address, just the street. So I circled twice and parked waiting. Like 10 minutes later I see cars parking down the bottom of the street. The house was on the corner and had started setting up on the side facing off the street. I go over there and at 7:10 the games are already all gone. Bleh. Luckily only one other sale mentioned they had video games that someone else got the rest of the day.

$15

12 different DVD sets

This was the same sale as above. Had a big bunch of DVDs and picked up some multiple disc sets like a sealed Superman Season 1, 7 discs three stooges collector's edition, few documentary collections, etc. 5 of the sets were still sealed.

$20

Nintendo DSi w/ New Super Mario Bros

Paid a little more than normal, but the mom was starting to freak out at her son selling his stuff saying how much she paid for it. So I decided to just do the $20 and move along. They also had a PSP 3000 with some games/movies (all sports games) for 35 but it had a good sized scratch on the screen so I didn't bother even thinking about it. I already have 3 other PSPs to try to play with from the last few weeks.

$47

PS1 (the one with RCA outputs)

PS2

bunch of controllers and memory cards

FF13

GTA4

Just Dance sealed

21 blurays (1 or 2 sealed)

3 dvd seasons for a few diff shows

$4

Mario Strikers - Wii - sealed

Left my name and number with the guy running it saying he had a lot of other games. While talking to him I think he put about half of can of skoal in his lower lip. It kind of made me nauseous hearing it slurp.

$3

Flashback for Mac - complete big box

Simcity 2000 for Mac - complete big box

Loony Pinball Labrynth or something - sealed big box

Spectre VR - complete big box

50 cents

Sealed DSlite carrying case and accessories - thought I could toss it in with one of the dslites I have.

$1

Mine mario plush

Batman action figure

Power Ranger

Yoda magic 8 ball

Asked about video games brought out a few N64 games but supposedly had more. Games were beaten up, drawn on, etc. One had no label (pretty sure it was banjo tooie because a little of a green label still visible). Wanted $10 each because "you can't buy these anymore - super rare", so I didn't even bother and left them behind.

$15

2x sealed Optimus Prime beast hunter figures

Muppets Movie bluray

Avengers 3d bluray

sealed Paranormal Activity bluray

Mario Kart Wii

50 cents

TMNT coffee mug in the box from 1990

$4

3 DVDs

Sealed ET figure from 2000 (small bendable figure that I think you had to get from Mac n Cheese)

3 really nice condition TMNT coloring books from 88

$3.25

3 sealed wrestling figures

3 older figures opened (from 90 - 94)

14 inch tall Goldberg figure

This sale had a ton of trader paperbacks and comics for sale. For the trades he wanted 5 each, just seemed like too much for me to even bother trying to negotiate since I was thinking a buck each. Had some good stuff like iZombie, All-Star Superman, Ex Machina, etc.

$55

40 PS2, PS1, Xbox games

no crazy homeruns, but some good ones like Manhunt for Xbox, Baldur's Gate, Halo (regular), Halo game of the year, Gradius, etc.

$2

Crazy Taxi PC complete in box

Command and Conquer generals complete in box

Case for Halo 2 limited edition

$2

Lost via Domus 360

iCarly for Wii

Sherlock Holmes Nemesis PC complete

CSI Hard evidence  360

Lady said she had no change so I decided to pick up the icarly to even it out.

$4

14 slim cd cases (to put those disc only games in when I mail them out)

"brief case" with a few Halo Mega Block guys in it. I only noticed it because it said USNC on it. Opened it up and I thought it was 3 different action figures, but it looks like one guy with 3 diffferent spartan outfits (maybe) and a bunch of weapons. Any help on what this would be appreciated. Searched Halo Mega Blocks a little while and got so much but nothing that looked like it.

$1

sealed Chia head

$4

Batman Record/Comic combo (probably overpaid at 2 bucks, but it looked cool)

15 brand new small boxes for 2 dollars. I usually never buy boxes, but they were cheap enough that I didn't mind buying them. Nothing is worse than needing a box and not having one.

$6

Batman Dark Knight returns pt 1 bluray

MK Shaolin Monks xbox

360 harddrive 20GB

This was at 3 pm. I already had stopped for the day, but decided to swing by when it was like a street over from my parents. Asked about more games. He looked kind of confused but when I said Gameboy he said hold on. He ran in the house and came out all excited and was said "Like this?" and it was Spongebob from GBC. I passed and said thanks though.

Overall it was a pretty good day. I was happy that most of the stuff is easier to store and carry. All those bags of action figures I got last week are awesome, but take up a lot of space, need to be sorted, etc.

Bought WAAYY too much this weekend I've barely been through any. Highlights include:

N64/N64 w/ Expansion, SNES, DKC 2, DKV 3, Super Mario All Stars, Super Mario Kart, Star Fox, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Lion King, Aladdin - $5 for entire laundry basket (yes not a box)

Black BC Nintendo Wii CIB - $10

Box of 60 NES games including Adventure Island 1-3, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Ninja Gaiden III, and tons more (did not look through them all. - $120

Samsung BD-P4600 LED Mountable Internet Streaming Blu Ray player - $20 (no idea on value but figured I know it's original MSRP was $500 just a few years ago so can't go wrong at $20 and if so I am sure I can find a use for it)

Nintendo DS Lite w/ Mario 64, Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros, Tinkerbell - $5

And best of all......

An XBOX ONE TITANFALL BUNDLE w/ WATCH DOGS and WOLFENSTEIN - $350

Wow you all stepped your game up.

BTW Rob, "Video Game Hoarder"? Totally trademark infringement...and it is  "MAR-E-O", not "Merio". Every time I hear it I cringe.

I'm not familiar with the xbox live cards, but isn't it possible that that one isn't activated?

Not to bad a weekend, but I've done better:

This was an interesting sale. The advertising was interesting as well as there were zombies drawn on the yard sale signs. As I'm there I find out she is a Loot Crate subscriber and getting rid of some of the stuff she got and other misc. So I got the following:

Video Game High School Season 1
Attack on Titan manga Volume 1
Inukami! Omnibus collection 1
Dixie Kong figure
Fire Flower Mario figure
Princess Peach figure
PS Controller (x2)
NES Controller (x2)
NES Power
N64 A/V

After I gathered everything up, I offered $5 and she countered with $6 and I took it.

Finally found some NES games again! Headed to this sale as it was on the way home. Stopped and checked it out and they had nothing. I did ask about games and the lady running said she had a few inside she forgot about and a gameboy. She brings them out and nicer lady that was also there asked for the gameboy as I had no interest in it. I told her I'd take the game and the Wii board. Also helped the lady get the gameboy working. She said it was for her granddaughter so I figured I'd help her out. She wanted $4 per game and $3 for the board but I came out with $12 for the lot. It includes:

Wii Fit Balance Board
Great Waldo Search (NES, Complete)
Pinball (NES)
Wheel of Fortune Family Edition (NES)
Ducktales (NES)
Dr. Mario Manual (NES)

It was refreshing to see a boxed NES game out like this! Hope to find more!

Ugh I'm not buying PS2s ever again. Bought a slim the weekend for $10 and it has the Red Screen of Death. Can't read anything. Second time I've bought a PS2 this year that was not as described. Wish people would actually test their stuff...

So I spent some time this weekend examining that lot I picked up. Here's what I found:

1) All the SNES games work! The former owner must have liked Earthbound as much as I do, as there were 3 level 99 save games on there. Also, the one I hadn't heard of, Pieces, is actually really good. It's a competitive jigsaw game with power-ups. It's like puzzling meets Mario Kart. I played it with a buddy and he bought a copy after he got home (It's only like $15).

2) The Game Gear doesn't work (surprise surprise), but it turns out it's a Japan-only variant called a Kid's Gear. Looks like I finally have a GG worth fixing.

3) When doing the initial inspection at the site, I found on the of the GBCs worked fine while the other didn't have sound. Well, it turns out the one that doesn't have sound was modded so that it's got a professional sound jack on there. It's not very well secured, so I need to do a little work on it. Additionally, it's got a backlit screen mod installed!

4) Those Gameboy Pocket Cameras are Japanese. One even has a mod installed so that pictures can be deleted all at once instead of one-by-one.

5) I forget to post this initially, but I picked up some books there including a Mega Man Zero art book, a teaser book for FFT Advance, and something called Codex Seraphinianus. I picked up that last one because I figured a friend would want it, and when I offered it up on Facebook the thread exploded with people clamoring for it. Only then did I realize it was worth about $100, but I offered it up for free and ended up giving it away to the person who seemed like they wanted it the most. I spent so much good karma on that find that I figured this would be a nice way of getting some back.

BTW, does anyone know anything about Megaman.EXE battle chips? I think I'm going to sell them to pay for the lot, but I'm having a hard time pricing them. I found one site where they go for about $3 a pop, and I've got 39 of them. I can't read the labels since they're in Japanese and I can't test them either, so I'm thinking about just putting them up on eBay with a BIN of $100.

Reading this thread has made me go out looking for games at yard sales but all ive really been finding is old ps1 sports games from the 90s or early 00s.
My neighbor had one the other day and heres what he set aside for me.

The battle chips are for that toy thing, I forget what it's called, pocket navi maybe. I don't know if the US version ones will take the Japanese chips, but the toys are really expensive now. The chips themselves have nothing to do with the video games.
