  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.

What debate? If you google it everyone who asks confirms it as well and that question has LITERALLY been asked everytime on this board here whenever that game goes on sale, which I dare say by now has been four or five times. Now I'm no fancy city lawyer, but I reckon I made my case.

Holy shit... I just went on my 360 to look at the games I had digitally... We have gotten SO MANY games from GwG and I have SO MANY other games that I've bought on sale... I'll never even get through my DIGITAL BACKLOG, much less my physical backlog...

I know what you mean haha. I think my digital backlog might be larger if not the same as my physical backlog at this point. GwG certainly isn't helping but hey I'm not complaining with free games :p Just don't think I'll ever get through them all.

 
This little Craigslist 360's disc drive is crapping out, I figured I would just use this thing as a digital machine since I have the next gens as well as a ps3. I went to buy MW3 to play with friends...why is that game still $50? It's like $12 for a physical NEW copy!

My ancient 360 finally kicked the bucket today, after being held on life support for nearly a year. RIP.

Any ideas for a proper burial? I'm thinking one of those viking ship burials.

I bought the game last Christmas. As other people pointed out, it's pretty much the best non-Mario Kart mascot racer in a long time, possibly since the very first Crash Team Racing. Whether you're a SEGA fan or not, the variety of stages and characters will keep you interested for a while. The kart's handling is great, so is the boat's, and it's almost ridicolously smooth to even drive planes - and I suck at those at virtually every game. There's tons to unlock, a robust multiplayer, a lot of minigames, and more. It isn't easy, though: whereas Mario Kart has abundant usage of rubberbanding, this one doesn't seem to have it (or if it does it's much more limited). Also no instant lead power-ups or undodgeable blue shell-like killer machines - power ups are pretty fair, and while they are prominent and various, rarely you'll feel they're OP. The difficulty also comes from pretty tough AI: if you want to get gold (or the further difficulty's medals), good luck. Getting 1000G on it is a task I didn't even attempt, I had enough issues getting Gold in same stages already, can't fathom how I'd be able to beat even better AI for the higher levels. Also, later stages can get a bit hard: lot of places to fall down and crash into, and the moment you do, the AI pretty much rapes you and bye bye medal - on the highest difficulties, that is. It's surprisingly tough for a mascot racer, but it's also brilliant.

Lol! I couldn't help myself. In reality though, I'm pretty sure VF5was released in 2006-07 and Final Showdown is an updated version.

So I am trying to add some of the games to my queue through Xbox marketplace site (free gold ones for that matter) but they are showing a price my Xbox kicked the bucket so I can't download them there. I do have Gold so it isn't that is there an alternate place to download them ? I just want them on my list of things to download similar to my PS.

Do you mean Games for Gold that you already downloaded before? You can either go to the farthest right on the tiles and select account, or use this link.

Admission time: I never bought Risk: Factions and I was waiting on it to go on sale again to buy it. It's probably still just as likely that I'll play it now than if I had bought it.

 
So, my friend ended up winning the $6 mastercard M&M promotion and he wants to buy Vanquish. Now, Vanquish is 7.99. Can he use that $6 card to buy vanquish and pay the rest off with his debit card? I want to ask first before we risk anything.

So, my friend ended up winning the $6 mastercard M&M promotion and he wants to buy Vanquish. Now, Vanquish is 7.99. Can he use that $6 card to buy vanquish and pay the rest off with his debit card? I want to ask first before we risk anything.

Maybe you can use the card to buy a $5 dollar XBL code and then use your debit card?
