  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

I actually found it right before they posted the first hint. I was just guessing it'd be on one of the Xbone pages since it was on the 360 page last week.

they ask you to verify yourself through phone number, call/text. On the bright side ppl can use VoIP, which makes creation of multiple accounts a breeze.

What a great day is today. MGSV and treasure hunt promo from which I feel like a rich bitch.  I think I'm gonna take out my folks to dinner tonight and celebrate.  And RedWhite&Blue day tomorrow + FiFa playoffs, shittt I'm happy, I'll go and do my happy dance right now on the stability ball.

This time last year, during July 4th, they were in the middle of an Ultimate Game Sale, similar to what happened in February (rotating daily deals alongside constant weekly deals). Since they didn't do anything like that this week, I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It is not as bad on Xbox One. I rarely get ads. 360 Hulu is loaded with ads. PC tells me to turn off my ad blocker (I don't have any!!). Might have been better off getting a month of gold. XBL gold membership comes with 3 month Hulu Plus trial. Plus you'd get the free games if you don't already own them.

What's a good new game on x1 or 360? I've got $60 saved up since it started. Sniper Elite III looks like it would be fun for about an hour.

It is fun in co-op, but I wouldn't recommend buying it. AI is really dumb on normal difficulty and it is full of glitches. You might be better off buying a bunch of cheaper games. Outlast and Sixty Second Shooter Prime are the newest games I've enjoyed. Stay away from Transformers. I'm hoping for a good sale on a digital only X1 game next week.

EDIT: Just finished Guacamelee. Took 7 hour with a bit of exploring. 65% of the game completed. I'll go back and get 100% then play the whole game again on hard. Best GWG yet?

A long time. Once you download the base game you have to start it up and download the second disc. Install the second one on a USB drive, though or you'll get terrible pop-in and frame rate issues.

I bought off the marketplace, I'm already reading stuff that the digital version has worse graphics/performance that the physical copy.

Makes me wish I never sold it in the first place.

It's just like if you were to install both physical discs to your hard drive. The game can't draw everything from one source without considerable performance issues. I have the main download stored on my HDD and all the DLC and secondary downloads on a flash drive. It runs just fine IMHO.

Hopefully I can find a flash drive somewhere, but I doubt its 8 gigs.

Couldn't agree more about Outlast, Guacamelee and Sixty Second Shooter Prime. I'd add the cheap although potentially short Another World, Looks great and plays perfectly on X1 and is a classic in every sense of the word. At 8 bucks ( especially if they were free bucks) its totally worth it.
