I dont know, I usually give people shit too. I definitely feel the same though, if he can put together coherent sentences that I can read and reply to, that's more than alot of CAGs I've seen. I don't like mice, even though they attract reptiles (which I also enjoy). Spiders keep your house bug free, and mostly come out at night. Mostly.

Well I never have so this is all new to me and I can't find a clear answer on Google. I attached the regulator per the instructions after doing the soapy water test for leaks on the tank. When I open the tank though I hear the gas and this is where I'm uncertain as the manual says to immediately close the tank if you hear a "rushing sound". I hear it and I don't think "rushing" but that's a little vague and the internet says things from you shouldn't hear it at all to you'll hear it filling up the pipes. I repeated the process a few times but same results each time and the regulator is fully on the tank.

So is that normal like how I can hear the gas in the stove when it lights or should I be concerned? I didn't get to testing the actual grill for leaks yet since I wasn't going to keep messing with it if the tank or regulator were leaking gas. It is a brand new tank and the guy did fill it almost 100% full so maybe even though it wasn't a hot day it was just venting some of the pressure through the regulator once it was opened? I did notice that it kept pushing the little safety cap off which I've been reading is a sign that it's venting excess pressure the way it's supposed to be.

I really have no idea beyond what I can piece together from the manual and the shockingly unhelpful search results but when their customer service line was closed for the holiday weekend the risk didn't seem worth continuing to mess with it until I had some idea of whether that was normal or I've got a real issue on my hands.

Edit- Also to clarify I only hear the gas when the tank is open and connected to the regulator. As far as I can tell the tank is not leaking on it's own and once I close it again the sound stops.

So from the experience of using my own grill, I hear the sound of gas rushing when I open the valve to the tank. If I don't hear anything coming from the tank, that's when I check to make sure it's not empty.

It's been awhile since I last used my grill, but I'm pretty sure the order of operation is open tank valve, set regulators for ignition, ignite, lower regulators to proper cooking temp, grill delicious food. And don't forget to close up your tank when done.

Also, sorry for taking forever to respond. I'm trying to get through Remember Me.

Termites are horrible lol. You're just lumping everything into one big category. Spiders will eat your bugs. Snakes will eat your mice. It's just a natural thing. I don't know what actively eats termites though, kill those ers.

Yeah I don't really think I have termites. But I have no idea why two panels in my garage ceiling randomly fell down today. Also there were some weird black bugs running around the ground after that happened.
