Syd Barret's first trip is a video that used to be on all the file sharing networks. I have it somewhere.

My friend and I did the DSotM / Wizard of Oz thing once, but we were drunk as fuck, so any amount of syncing was amazing. I need to try it again.
 
Also, I've realized you guys are much better than real life friends. Noone ever asks to borrow money, noone ever needs a ride. Real life friends are the worst sometimes.
 
Ah, the Vita.

I really wish my Guacamelle save hadn't been deleted. I was really enjoying that game.

Zero Escape is enjoyable too, although I am going to gamefaqs for the puzzles that I -could- solve, but just involve a lot of writing things down.

Wish I could have finished Gravity Rush. Got 2/3rd through it, gave up. The combat was pretty shitty however.

Started Rayman Legends (Origins?) no idea what's going on or what difference it makes if I switch characters. Really surprised to start playing and there was no tutorial or backstory. Those sort of things are de rigueur for this generation.

What else should I be playing?

(Don't say Spelunky. I can never get further than 1-3 or 1-4 in that game)

 
Also, why does Castlevania SOTN on the Vita not recognize the PS3 save that  I copied over. I can see it in the content manager.... But the VITA says no save file is available.

I don't want to start all over.

 
crissaegrim, i think that was the name. the swords that swiped like air as fast as you could push the button. epic sotn weapon. good times grinding in that game pre-trophy age.

They currently have a show/movie on Netflix right now called Asian Schoolgirls. I think that might be something for Snakey if he's interested. I haven't seen it but I did see the cover-art when browsing through Netflix. 

Snakey, just has to make sure it's in 2160p, 60FPS or 120FPS and in Ultra High-Definition before he watches it.

There was never a doubt in my mind. I thought it was pretty obvious they were going to try to get people double-dipping; the only surprise being that they're talking about it being possible before the other one has been released.

Check that shit out first. Those cardboard cases are easily damaged and that drives the prices up. You never know; you might be sitting on something nice.

I had a collection when I was younger of 20+ games all in mint condition with the boxes that I sold to some snot-nosed little shit for less than $100. We're talking about Mega Man, Metroid, Mario, Gargoyle's Quest... I had a lot of good shit. It would be valued at well over $1000 today if I had kept it all.

One of the biggest mistakes of my gaming life that I try hard to forget, but it never fails.... every so often one of you assholes brings something up to remind me.

 
@Topside: I've only checked a couple. I need to get a list of them all and check. I got rid of all the games long ago, had this stuff packed away.

So Tyler the Shadow King is Thomas Jefferson, which is fitting. Stotch would be Washington, since he used guerrilla tactics against Britain( Frisky) stabbed him in the back, became president then kissed up to him. I'll make do with being Benjamin Franklin or some other respectable Founding Father.

Target wins again, you got ripped off. The Vita version is pretty shitty. It is a port of the 3DS version, which had many missing levels, and those that are present are stripped down and missing sections. One of my better friends bought it for me for as a Christmas present because I had just picked up a Vita and was a huge LOTR fan. He was just barely a good enough friend that I actually played through it.

Ive only bought 3 so far. Only ever gotten 2 statues. Both were bought on clearance or used.

Oh and I did buy the ME collectors edition day 1. Its one of my favorite series. Destiny will be my fourth limited edition/CE I've ever gotten and the 2nd day one I've gotten.

I do regret not getting the $150 CEs of Skyrim and Bioshock Infinite though. I would like to display those two statues but I fucked up.

GBA packaging can be stupid pricey. I sold a near mint Ninja Five-O box with manual and inserts for over $100 a couple years ago.

I didn't know if it was any good or not, I just figured for $6 it has a separate trophy list from the PS3 version and my son likes lego games.

Free trophy legwork.... velo style.

You should have done what I did and gotten the Skyrim CE for $60 when Gamestop was clearance-ing them out. :whee:

I have lots of statues, but nowhere to display them...

-Uncharted 3 CE statue

-Tomb Raider CE statue

-Dark Souls II CE statue

-Skyrim CE statue

-Witcher 3 CE statue <--preordered the CE at Best Buy already

-The Order: 1886 LE statue <--also preordered the LE at Best Buy

Maybe I should start shoving unimportant things onto my floor so I can display them.

the sheer number of things I've bought on target clearance just because it was cheap is staggering. sometimes when purging the ol backlog I'll sell something sealed and then see that red clearance sticker on it when I'm putting it in the envelope and I'm all 'dammit I'll never get it that cheap again.'

and thus was the fate of my only copy of asura's wrath.

This reminds me of when my sister sold a shit ton of my sneS games on eBay for next to nothing because she got addicted to selling everything on there. These were games like Mario rpg, Mario kart, Zelda and other ones that are worth a pretty penny if they were sold in their original boxes that are in a box at my parents house somewhere. I never borrow her anything anymore.
 
i'd have to look for all my ce/le boxes, but i've bought a bunch. a lot of them only because of clearance sales after release. i do regret not getting the $60 deal on skyrim, but i had heard the dragon statue wasn't as good as it looked.

a bunch of other les/steelbooks, those are the main ones i remember cause of statue displays and how much i liked the games/series.

This was the one and only time I've actually come across something at Target on clearance that wasn't shovelware.
