Outlast is a briliant game and the DLC for it is totally worth it. Bought the DLC and was pleasantly surprised that it elevated the game, rather than detract from it.
 
Man, fuck playing without a mic. I stuck it out for you guys and had fun towards the end...but I'm gonna have to figure out wtf is wrong before I play again.

Anti-freeze tastes very sweet, that's why so many animals are poisoned by it every year as there is no tell for them to know that they SHOULDN'T be consuming it if they happen upon it.

I could hear you for a couple minutes at the beginning. Then you went into silence mode.

We made good progress though. I was averaging 930xp per game, we played 13 games. At 10 minutes a game, that means only 15 more hours!

I definitely don't have the stamina to get to level 50 though. From 40-49 you need 6000 per rank, which is about 6 games each boosting. Then 49-50 you need 12,000. That's 66,000xp, almost two thirds what you need to get to 40. Say 1000 per game, that's 66 more games. No way, man. I'll get as many trophies as I can, but 100% won't be my goal for this one.

That's what I have. They worked fine the few times I've played online with others, including just a few days ago. And they worked for a minute or two today, and then cut out. And then worked again. And then cut out. I'll have to fuck with them, I dont think I pressed a button on them or anything, but I really don't know what the buttons do other than volume and mute. (and mute wasn't the problem)

 
Finished the first few levels of Killzone 2. I have to say the gameplay, controls, and graphics in Killzone: Mercenary are tons better. Weird but true.

Level 24 I think. We can get about 1700 a match if we both have it. I was hacking with Cro when he had it and was getting like 1300.

Should we do another session next weekend? Saturday or Sunday?

I'm probably down for that, I just have to make sure I have my mic working...and a back up handy just in case. I have an old one but didn't feel like hunting for it in the middle of playing.

 
I've only been playing Hitman: Absolution. I have 4/20 missions down and I probably got 5-6 trophies. For some reason, they started popping up over and over. I'll have to sync them later though. It got stuck at 11% might be too many devices connected or neighbors using too much internet since it's cable and shared.

You'd think Tampa is a really socially conservative place since it always votes fuck ing red but evidently not. That might be the gentry and military folks skewing things though (no offense if that's you). But, yeah, could not believe it when I watched that. And now you mention these nudist beaches & subdivisions. Crazy shit.

*don't be put off by the trailer. It's actually interesting shit (see, I can watch more than PBS). I'm certainly a prude in comparison but don't mind seeing how other people like to get down. Lol. Velo's escapades always fascinate me.

Come on man, you know everything is fair game here (unless you post actual pics of naked dudes and the mods find out) so dont apolgize. But for your own safety you might want to spoiler stuff like that. Anyway, not surprisingly, I have heard of Mandingo. Not necessarily a ring of them here in Tampa, but I guess it is here! There are a lot of old people here obviously so thats where the conservatism comes from, well that and the gun carrying rednecks (my relatives).

BTW, Tampa certainly doesnt have nude beaches as I doubt that would be legal anywhere in the US. However Caliente and Paradise Lakes are certainly real.

 
Yeah, when Cro and I hacked, I got more XP because he was able to go faster. With two people it's definitely speedy. Not sure if I can make next weekend, I'll see what I have going on. I'm free all week thanks to vacation.

Simmias is probably the only one who stands a chance at beating 10 minutes. And it went pretty good. Other than my headset issues. And coming to terms with how bad I suck at the game.

I'm debating putting in Bioshock 2 to see how I like it and perhaps join you guys next time (if there is a next time?) just apparently I need to get a headset first. I was looking at my PS3 games right now to see what I have, but I don't think any of them are online multiplayer. I am getting Destiny though, although the only person I know of here who will be playing it is Bums.

You can't be any worse than me, with or without a headset. I'm getting Destiny, as are tons of other people, but I'm getting it on PS4.

Thanks for the clarification on the beaches because I was feverishly googling for shit. Don't think I'd have enough courage to go even though I'm sure I'd put everyone there to shame. If ya know what I mean! Hey hey.
 
How do you quote someone from another thread and put it in this thread?  AoA made a great post about cheap old games.  I agree with him, I would pay a $1 for tons of old Genesis and SNES games.  TJE excluded of course.

I don't have next gen yet, not enough games exclusive for it that warrant it for me yet.

Maybe in a couple of years.

Ill have to Psn friend you later for Destiny.

Someone friended me on PSN yesterday and I have no idea who it is, I'm assuming one of you guys
