Have you ever hit the Start button to actually pause the game? That stops the playtime clock in most RPGs.

Sometimes. I'm not really that concerned with completion time, though. Most of the time, I'm just in the menu, or if I know something can't attack me where I am, I'm just standing around.

 
Found a copy of Folklore out in the wild at gamestop and decided to use my $5 coupon on it since everyone says it's pretty good and semi-rare (also decided to pick up the $3 Bionic Commando). But my god the Folklore disc is a masterpiece of fuckery. The ENTIRE bottom is covered in thumbprints and what appears to be a food stain from someone grabbing the bottom of the disc with a substance covered thumb.

Same here, I rarely get to game for more than 15 minutes without being interrupted these days. I couldn't believe it the other day when I was able to play a whole episode of TWAU without having to pause it for hours only to shut it off because I never will get back to it that day.

I cannot wait until we finally get pause\resume on PS4!! My second most desired feature (after added media functionality). Playing P4G on vita and there's no way in hell I could do this on consoles. Especially since you cannot save in the middle of a dungeon floor.

 
So I got all the trophies except for the one grinding one on Surge Deluxe. Apparently its like 15 hours extra of just clearing tiles for a bronze...wtf

That level was the worst part of the game for me. First off, you have to turbo the whole level. If at any point you take off the turbo, just restart. Next, just keep doing it until you master it. You will get better over time and one time out of the blue, you will pass it. I would also take lots of breaks. If I try that level too long, my right hand would cramp and get sweaty. Bottom line, boost 100% of the time.

Nice. I also picked it up a few days ago on the strength of the demo. My disc is in decent shape, though.

I have to ask; why the fuck does GS have so many games that are missing correct cases, covers, and manuals? Are there a bunch of retards out there that buy new games and then immediately throw away everything but the disc? I don't get it.

 
I personally keep my cases and manuals when I trade in as it doesn't detract from the value of the trade and allows me to pick up cheap disc only copies down the road. EBay prices drop significantly without the case, manual and cover art.

I am willing to be you are correct in your assumption about idiots trashing or breaking cases after buying their games. I've known people who didn't keep any of that stuff and kept their collection in a CD wallet.

Good question. I've always wondered that too.
 
I was going to start Hyperdimension Neptunia tomorrow, but it think I'll spend the day working on Velocity Ultra level 50 just so I can tell Tyler to shut his ugly Mormon face.
