HA, I loved those levels since they were largely rhythm-based. The online grind was a hassle, but I'm still proud of the plat.

that might be your problem, has to be 3 guys at the same time with one blast and I don't think rail tracks will trigger the high fall bonus (or whatever) right. they also need to be weaker dudes so that the blast kills them, otherwise hitting the ground does and the bonus doesn't seem to count. I got really lucky with it and knocked two off but not the third since he was a tougher rocket launcher dude. but then he just walked off the edge or something and it unlocked.

I tried to do it in the side tar missions but could never get 3 of them together. I watched a bunch of videos of the two spots I am trying and it works for many people. I did notice both videos they seemed to doing it on a good playthrough and I am doing it on Evil. I think I have done like 2 tar missions wonder if there are more? I wonder if this would be easier on Good. I really don't want to start over but I do need to get 150 heals anyway.

There is the building in the Neon shapped like a Water tower and there were 3 up there but I wasn't able to get the stunt there either.

Getting the platinum already in a game makes it very hard for me to repurchase, even at a great price. Lego Marvel 2 case in point.

I have heard so many great things about vanquish and someday I will play it, but so far I only have the 'completed tutorial' trophy, and that was tough enough

3 of the PSN Play games look amazing (then there's Hokokum, whatever the that is) but the prices are just turning me off.  I bought 3 of the games last year (Stealth Inc, Cloudberry Kingdom, Ducktales) but those were $8/$8/$12 with $6 back.  This year the games I want are $14/$16/$12.  Just too high for me, The Swapper is the real killer.  

Just realizing that Curve's prices have been dicked-up recently.  Titan Attacks! for $12 and then MouseCraft for $15, when both those games scream $10 (or less for Titan Attacks).  Now $20 for The Swapper?  C'mon!

And I dont think I have ever read a review or article on a video game site and thought to look at the name of the person that wrote it. Why? Because who gives a flying ?

As with any nascent medium people will say this. If you think games are only for mindless consumption that's cool, but I don't see a reason to knock other people. Yeah, there are passionate writers and journalists who make contributions to the industry. One of the best books I've read all year is about video games. Some of the best articles. I can't remember the last time I thought about Poland before reading something on Polish developers. You take from things what you want. I'm not saying everyone has to feel the same as me, but so what if my passion extends beyond playing. It's like saying sports journalism isn't a thing.

it sucks regardless, mine was on the last 'tar' mission and I think it took me 20 or so retries to get lucky. you have to kind of coerce them in to the same spot by rushing them - they'll almost always back up and run away opposite the direction you approach them. so you basically herd them mmo style.

I haven't yet but need guidance. Please tell me not to buy it.

Stotch and ctrlv pretty much answered it, but it's because the three trophies in that DLC are the hardest in the game: playing all the DLC maps, winning on all the DLC maps, and getting to level 50. It only counts you having the DLC unless you get one of the trophies in it. And since the trophies are so hard to get, only dedicated people are getting them - and if they're getting one of them, they're most likely dedicated enough to get all three.

Sunday. You're in the session on TT I have instructions in there. Basically we all separately play adam grab solo in private mode and win all 6 maps. If everyone does that before the session, it will take us 20 minutes to unlock everything together in public.

Game Informer and Joystiq are the other 2 video game sites I read. Joystiq has gone way down hill since all their best guys left to start Polygon and their format has been slowly devolving to be less user friendly and more intrusive. Game Informer just isn't quick enough on most news stories, though I think they do the best job of presenting news without bias.

Polygon is click-bait hack garbage IMO. Probably not fair to judge every single article and writer based on a few terrible TERRIBLE articles and reviews they've done, but oh well. Life isn't fair. I mean, you did read their Mario Kart 8 sells expectation article, right? Ben Kuchera and Arthur Geis are two absolute idiots on social media as well. I feel like I'm justified in my distaste for their site.

Eurogamer is my favorite for news (I go to Polygon for features/reviews), and Destructoid is also decent. I enjoy Giant Bomb, but they mostly stick to features and videos and seem to catch less of the news from day to day (or maybe I'm just bad at finding it there).

As for Polygon, every single site you can find has click-bait articles; it's how they survive. I don't see how Polygoni is somehow worse at doing this than other sites (especially IGN who are not even subtle about it), but obviously you've made up your mind here and I'm not going to try and force you to read the site.

If you like IGN that's cool I guess. I think they're one of the most bland and consistently misinformed sites out there with an abysmal community, but I probably look for different things in the sites I frequent than many people.

That's a pretty legit release schedule for a summer month.  Plus TLoU next week.

maybe it's just a function of how people look at this stuff - for me, video game news is what's coming out and when, with maybe the occassional light review skim. when I cared about sports, it was about the next day's box scores and stats with the occassional light skim through a game recap. I think everything else that's reported in these realms is superfluous - like watching tmz or some shit.

that's not to say you can't or shouldn't enjoy the full-on buffet of articles about lara croft as a symbol of female oppression or the trillionth interview with that guy from Double Fine about his kickstarter. just like you don't want folks to thrash you about your position, you shouldn't get all bent out of shape when someone says 'who gives a ' in direct opposition to your point of view. tit for tat and all that.

on an unrelated note, listened to an hour long talk radio program with a local therapist yesterday about how primarily video games and to a lesser extent porn have essentially turned boys in to salivating uncontrollable sex bullies by 13.

Ok, I'm noticing a difference after playing some actual vita games. Was gonna side by side my vitas for a better comparison, but apparently I have reached my limit of handhelds on my account(4 psps, lol). The process to deactivate is a pita. Have to call Sony anyway cause I only own 1 of those 4 now. Don't think I ever activated my modded one.

The videos I've seen so far don't show enough consecutive footage for me to really get a good idea on what the gameplay is like.

Since you're here, wanted to tell you that one issue I had with Hitman 2 controls has been "resolved" I guess you could say. Unless I missed it, nowhere does the game tell you that you can tap L1 to sneak, and hold the button for a second to crouch all the way down and sneak. I was crouching all the way down. He moves just a tad bit faster when you tap the button. Helps tremendously.

HLTB pegs it around 16 hours anyway. 20 hours is not that bad at all.

For me it didn't on my iPhone. I deleted the game and data, but when I redownloaded it auto-logged me into Kongregate with the account I had created before. But I will have the upper hand! Going to try on my iPad tonight since that's a different device I imagine it will work.
