I love mine, but I didn't have to pay full price for it. I also use an external portable 1tb HDD with it (also not full price). Not sure I'd recommend at full price. It's kinda small and takes some getting used to. I also don't think the battery is near as good as advertised. And it's still useful, but being a Chromebook, it's obviously still limited (I would recommend installing Linux http://lifehacker.com/how-to-install-linux-on-a-chromebook-and-unlock-its-ful-509039343 )

You beat it on super hard? I would always get stuck on that ice minotaur guardian at the beginning that was supposed to be easy. lol. I was trying for it back in ps2 days, but I gave up.

Yep, can't beat it for $59 (and the HDD for $25). Well worth it at that price, you'll be happy (or your man will be, as I think you mentioned it being a gift for him?)

 
Thanks for the input guys. A coworker recommended Lenovo, so its a little more enticing since several of you mentioned them as well. I'm going to do some more digging and see if I can single out a good candidate. Looking to pick something up within the next month for sure.

 
...This shit is still going. 76% overall. A few of em have been 800-900 mb each and since there's only 4 left, I'm guessing those are the sizes of the rest.

I don't know if it's technically a spoiler, but I'll use tags anyway. FYI, I killed the giant eyeball last night.

I found an item in a chest that allowed me to reenter the door for that giant eyeball boss once I gave it to Charon and fight a harder "Neo" version of it. The bad news is that it's much harder since the eyeball doesn't pause at all during its attacks. The good news, however, is that you're playing as some other character with predefined skills, so you can try again as many times as you want if you die against that boss. It took 10-15 tries before I finally beat it. I can only assume the other bosses have similar counterparts and thus similar trophies associated with defeating them.

 
Two questions regarding Rogue Legacy. Do you keep weapons and armor you buy after dying, and is there a way to exit the castle after entering it, other than dying?

Yeah, I've heard mention of the remix bosses. Something I'll likely never get to lol.

Once you beat a boss, is the door always closed on future run throughs of the castle, or do they come back? Did you have to beat the guy, then find the thing to give Charon in the same PT or you can find it anytime after you kill him?

Gotcha. I wasn't sure about the second since the architect exists. I thought perhaps you could go out and save a layout if you liked it, but I guess its just a gamble to use it before you go in or not as to whether you'd want it saved. Personally I dont care about that at all, I was just looking for a way to spend money without requiring myself to die.

I didn't know how to unlock the remix bosses, so I was just playing the same as I always did when I stumbled across the item (I think it was actually from one of those "pray for assistance" statues), and it definitely wasn't in the same playthrough as when I beat the eyeball boss. The door is always closed once you beat the boss unless you unlock its remix version, I would assume; I only know what happened with this first boss, so I don't know for sure if the same applies to the rest. The door is now closed again, though.

Yeah I've only used him once. I didn't find it very useful if you dont even know the layout you'd be committing almost half your stack to. It would be great if you could run through, decide "hey that shit was perfect" and then use him.

I paid the full $199 and still really like mine. Quick peroidic updates (unlike windows) I seem to get 7+ hours out of my battery. I have considered putting Linux in it but probably never will. I wish the copy and paste worked better (two finger click is a PIA). I think this is a setting I could/should change. Otherwise I am very happy with mine. I barely use my Dell Laptop with an SSD and Win 8.1.

Haven't had a chance to post until now. Hell yeah! I was really looking forward to Road Not Taken and was interested in Metrico so I'm happy with the choices. I don't own any of the month's games on PlayStation so that's great too. I do already have Fez and the Crysis titles on 360 but this means I'll actually try Fez again and hopefully beat it on Vita.

Mailed it. I was ecstatic when I woke up this morning and saw the list.

I nailed the Road Not Taken prediction, and am stoked for it. Ditto with Metrico, I've always loved day 1 PS+ games because I definitely don't have them. I also think Metrico looks great and I will probably start that up right away on Tuesday.

Dragon's Crown is awesome, really cool we're getting both versions for whatever reason. Just wish they had separate trophy lists. Regardless, super glad I waited on that one and that they gave it to us after EU has had it for a couple months.

Fez I didn't like but I will play it again to see if I can do any better since now I know about some of the super subtle and obtuse puzzles.

Crysis 3 I'll sell my retail copy. Proteus is the stinker of the month but at least I don't own it. 5/6 I don't own, and the one I do I can just sell.

Are any of these worth their asking price? And would there be any significant difference between them for what I'm interested in using it for, other than the hard drive space. Are you referring to L2 and R2 being assigned to aiming and firing now? If so then you're in luck because the options offer the ability to set them back to L1 and R1 like on PS3. I hated the controls when I first started on PS3 but now I dont want to play it any other way. Its too ingrained in my head after running through the single player twice and all the MP I did.

The way it is written, it sounds like the Architect gives you the layout you last played, so yes you would know what it was. I have not tried it, but I really can't imagine it working any other way, and that's exactly what it says it does.

It probably has a lot to do with the order you chose to play them. Most people (as you can see from the comments) consider GoW 2 one of the best of the series.

Makes more sense. I didn't read it thoroughly last night as I was quickly buying things to dive back into the castle. Was trying to maximize my time playing since I couldn't stay up as late as I would've liked last night.

That is what I was referring to. But in reality all shooters use the triggers for shooting and aiming so I want to get used to l2/r2 on TLOU. It feels better. But my brain is used to the style of how it was on ps3. I never understood why ps3 always used R1/L1 instead. I miss my custom class too. I need to unlock it.
