I love mine, but I didn't have to pay full price for it. I also use an external portable 1tb HDD with it (also not full price). Not sure I'd recommend at full price. It's kinda small and takes some getting used to. I also don't think the battery is near as good as advertised. And it's still useful, but being a Chromebook, it's obviously still limited (I would recommend installing Linux http://lifehacker.com/how-to-install-linux-on-a-chromebook-and-unlock-its-ful-509039343 )i have the C720 and for Youtube, web surfing and stuff it works fine. It has a SD slot on the side so you could add more storage to it but obvously that is still limited. Printing can be an issue if you don't have a Google Cloud print enabled printer.
You got yours from the flash deal on kindle right?I love mine, but I didn't have to pay full price for it. I also use an external portable 1tb HDD with it (also not full price). Yep, can't beat it for $59 (and the HDD for $25). Well worth it at that price, you'll be happy (or your man will be, as I think you mentioned it being a gift for him?)You got yours from the flash deal on kindle right?
I'm glad to hear good things about it, haven't opened it as its sitting wrapped in a box waiting for christmas
Yes sir, good memory.Yep, can't beat it for $59 (and the HDD for $25). Well worth it at that price, you'll be happy (or your man will be, as I think you mentioned it being a gift for him?)
You could at least click my trophy card, SJD.You could at least say which one, Vag.
Do people actually click those things? You could at least click my trophy card, SJD.![]()
What's the doppelganger? I've been killed by a giant eyeball several times, some other big ass fire spitting ghost looking thing. It's something that will kill me for sure, I know that much. You could at least click my trophy card, SJD.![]()
I would especially click yours, seeing as how it's hidden on PSN. Nothing wrong with that, just curious as it's the only one I've ever seen like that.Do people actually click those things?
I don't know if it's technically a spoiler, but I'll use tags anyway. FYI, I killed the giant eyeball last night. What's the doppelganger? Yeah, I've heard mention of the remix bosses. Something I'll likely never get to lol.I don't know if it's technically a spoiler, but I'll use tags anyway. FYI, I killed the giant eyeball last night.
I found an item in a chest that allowed me to reenter the door for that giant eyeball boss once I gave it to Charon and fight a harder "Neo" version of it. The bad news is that it's much harder since the eyeball doesn't pause at all during its attacks. The good news, however, is that you're playing as some other character with predefined skills, so you can try again as many times as you want if you die against that boss. It took 10-15 tries before I finally beat it. I can only assume the other bosses have similar counterparts and thus similar trophies associated with defeating them.
Yes. No.Two questions regarding Rogue Legacy. Do you keep weapons and armor you buy after dying, and is there a way to exit the castle after entering it, other than dying?
Gotcha. I wasn't sure about the second since the architect exists. I thought perhaps you could go out and save a layout if you liked it, but I guess its just a gamble to use it before you go in or not as to whether you'd want it saved. Personally I dont care about that at all, I was just looking for a way to spend money without requiring myself to die.Yeah, I've heard mention of the remix bosses. Something I'll likely never get to lol.
Yes. No.
Also, Vag...Once you beat a boss, is the door always closed on future run throughs of the castle, or do they come back? Did you have to beat the guy, then find the thing to give Charon in the same PT or you can find it anytime after you kill him?
Yeah I've only used him once. I didn't find it very useful if you dont even know the layout you'd be committing almost half your stack to. It would be great if you could run through, decide "hey that shit was perfect" and then use him.Gotcha. I wasn't sure about the second since the architect exists. I paid the full $199 and still really like mine. Quick peroidic updates (unlike windows) I seem to get 7+ hours out of my battery. I have considered putting Linux in it but probably never will. I wish the copy and paste worked better (two finger click is a PIA). I think this is a setting I could/should change. Otherwise I am very happy with mine. I barely use my Dell Laptop with an SSD and Win 8.1.I love mine, but I didn't have to pay full price for it. I also use an external portable 1tb HDD with it (also not full price). That's when the PC "add things to download list" is glorious.I am re-downloading all my games that I want on my system after reformatting and was wondering, do I have to redownload all the unlocks?
Haha that couldn't possibly be further off. I definitely don't look like a hippie in any way. This fits what I think Tyler looks like, is this him?
Tyler this should be your new avatar!
You always have one room at 67 degrees during summer, and your PS3 is always on almost 24 hours a day? Wtf dude. All of these things would already be on anyways, except the PS3 has been in maybe a couple extra hours each day compared to normal. Stick to licking assholes bud, at least you know a thing or two about that.
No that was Kyle Bosman. I do look more like him than I do the hippie dude though. Not too long ago Tyler's avatar was a picture of what I thought was him with a blonde wig on. Never asked for confirmation on that though.
That sucks cause I need to finish it. Congrats?Just finished God of War 2 and have to say so far it is my least favorite. I enjoyed 1, GoS, CoW, and Ascension, but GoW 2 didn't do it for me.
Are youThey make a fridge that costs less than a grand? And with WIRE SHELVES? Where thedo you live? Afghanistan? I am pretty sure I have never seen a fridge with wire shelves before.
How do you people not know that's Sammy "I can't drive 55" Hagar? Cmon.Haha that couldn't possibly be further off. I definitely don't look like a hippie in any way.
I just like to think of you as upside down VVVVVV guy. It fits you for reasons I don't quite understand. No that was Kyle Bosman. I do look more like him than I do the hippie dude though.
I did have my pic on my profile for a while though, back on CAG 2.0 when you could have 2 different avatar picks for different things. Only people who ever really would have seen it are those who read my blogs.
I'm wondering if they're not interested in competition in the subscription market on PS4. That's my guess.A couple sites out there are reporting that Sony actually turned down EA's Access program.
Haven't had a chance to post until now. Hell yeah! I was really looking forward to Road Not Taken and was interested in Metrico so I'm happy with the choices. I don't own any of the month's games on PlayStation so that's great too. I do already have Fez and the Crysis titles on 360 but this means I'll actually try Fez again and hopefully beat it on Vita.PS+ August NA
PS4: Road Not Taken, Fez
PS3: Crysis 3, Proteus
Vita: Metrico, Dragon's Crown
Me too. I consider him and this thread as the opposite of the main PSN thread so it fits. Or maybe he's just aI just like to think of you as upside down VVVVVV guy. It fits you for reasons I don't quite understand.
Mailed it. I was ecstatic when I woke up this morning and saw the list.Tyler's going to be happy. I am less so (own physical copies of Crysis 3 and Dragon's Crown). Still a nice list.
before my time? How do you people not know that's Sammy "I can't drive 55" Hagar? Cmon.
I wouldn't say hippie, reminded me of a surfer dudeHaha that couldn't possibly be further off. I definitely don't look like a hippie in any way.
Oh wait,
Mario Kart is actually the more popular game and considered to have a better chance to sell systems according to most people who I've seen weigh in on the subject. Also another example, if when SSB comes out and sells 5 million copies, and all of a sudden the Wii U sells 1-2 million units in the span of a couple months, we can say that was a system seller. I'm sure SSB will have more potential to move Wii Us than Mario Kart.
Because Sammy Hagar is terrible, and people who listen to his music and know who he is are even worse. How do you people not know that's Sammy "I can't drive 55" Hagar? Cmon.
TLOU Remastered looks so nice. Need to get used to the triggers for shooting and aiming.
The way it is written, it sounds like the Architect gives you the layout you last played, so yes you would know what it was. I have not tried it, but I really can't imagine it working any other way, and that's exactly what it says it does.Gotcha. I wasn't sure about the second since the architect exists. I thought perhaps you could go out and save a layout if you liked it, but I guess its just a gamble to use it before you go in or not as to whether you'd want it saved. It probably has a lot to do with the order you chose to play them. Most people (as you can see from the comments) consider GoW 2 one of the best of the series.Just finished God of War 2 and have to say so far it is my least favorite. I enjoyed 1, GoS, CoW, and Ascension, but GoW 2 didn't do it for me.
Makes more sense. I didn't read it thoroughly last night as I was quickly buying things to dive back into the castle. Was trying to maximize my time playing since I couldn't stay up as late as I would've liked last night. The way it is written, it sounds like the Architect gives you the layout you last played, so yes you would know what it was. I have not tried it, but I really can't imagine it working any other way, and that's exactly what it says it does.
I thought it was the total opposite, which then made me think it was totally useless. Will have to try it out next time. The way it is written, it sounds like the Architect gives you the layout you last played, so yes you would know what it was. I have not tried it, but I really can't imagine it working any other way, and that's exactly what it says it does.
Yeah, and they can keep that stupid shit. $2 for a four-hour rental, psssshhh.Maybe EA Access interferes with Sony's plans for PS Now.
PS Now going into open beta tomorrow:

just as I thought. Your a liar. Your link to the fabled wire shelved fridge doesn't take me to said fabled fridge. Are youing serious? You probably just don't see the inside of your fridge because you must have one of your servants fetch you all the libations you need from the fridge, you rich
.
And I bought this fridge with $50 off using a SEARS50 code. $450 after tax and free shipping.

Sorry, probably doesn't stack up with your $3000 smart-fridge with localized cooling zones you snob.
Also here's one with wire shelves, like I said I hate those.

That is what I was referring to. But in reality all shooters use the triggers for shooting and aiming so I want to get used to l2/r2 on TLOU. It feels better. But my brain is used to the style of how it was on ps3. I never understood why ps3 always used R1/L1 instead. I miss my custom class too. I need to unlock it.Are you referring to L2 and R2 being assigned to aiming and firing now? If so then you're in luck because the options offer the ability to set them back to L1 and R1 like on PS3. I hated the controls when I first started on PS3 but now I dont want to play it any other way. Its too ingrained in my head after running through the single player twice and all the MP I did.
