It's not "by the same writers". OUAT is by two guys who wrote some of the Lost episodes. There were other people who worked on Lost. They weren't even the main players. They were hardly the driving force behind Lost. Next you're going to tell us that if we like Lost, we should watch a JJ Abrams movie, because he was one of the EPs.

And yet the exact same formula is followed in both shows; More time = shittier character. Either they were more influential than you think or the whole team you're referencing was crap

uncharted, infanous 2, batman: aa and sly cooper are the easiest and if you have a vita, sly is cross buy and cross save so 2 plats for price of 1.

Yea, saving that actually for the weekend, going on another road trip to Nebraska, at least 16 hours will be spent on Sly to get the double plat! :) Then I will have had the Sound Shapes triple plat and Sly double plat. cheating as much as I can!

 
I got most of the way through season 1 of OUaT and realized I just didn't care anymore. I think the kid bugged me. Though both Snow White and the wicked witch were damn fine.

And why do you know so much about these shitty shows and why they're so shitty, Thermo? Usually if I watch a shitty show, I just stop watching it.

I did quit watching Lost. OUAT my wife watched up until halfway through last season. She's a big mythology and Disney buff, but delights in making fun of bad shows as well. She still gave up halfway through last season, though.

As an example of how absolutely stupid the show is, here's part of the transcript from season 2:

(Mary Margaret and David are talking in Mary Margaret’s kitchen.)

Just to provide context; the wife watched all of "I Wanna Marry Harry" and thought it was hilarious. She still quit watching OUAT because it was too bad for her to continue.

Haven't been able to start Strider or play console games, though I'm hitting the Rogue Legacy sweetspot. Racking the money and have the Lich King/Hokage doing their thang.

Also, does anybody here have NCAA 12? Need to join an Online Dynasty so i can post on the dynasty wire. Game is like 1 buck at TRU.

You don't have to do that. Just create a dynasty for yourself and post an article, super easy trophy

Yeah you're right, Lost sucked because of two guys wrote 21 episodes total. You know that the show had an established "formula" from the first episode, and that Kitsis/Horowitz didn't create it, right? And just because YOU think a character is shitty, doesn't mean they really are, right?

I'm also confused Asa to where you're a getting this info that these supposedly shitty characters had more screen time than the super as some ones that you apparently loved so much. Other than Jack (who was the main character of the show), most of the regulars had a fairly equal amount of centric episodes. I'm sorry, did you want the show to focus more on Shannon and Boone? Or maybe Ana Lucia? You can't just say things like "Shitty characters are June focus!" without telling us who you consider these shitty characters to be.

And just a quick glance at my spreadsheet that had Lost episodes, character centricity, and IMDB ratings, some of the characters with the highest ranked episodes also happen to be those with the most number of centric episodes. So gee, I wonder why that would be?

But back to your original claim that these guys were a driving force behind the show, please, I beg you to just take a minute to watch some behind the scenes stuff on any show at all to learn how the writing process works. The people who are credited with writing the script are really just the people who throw together puzzle pieces and add dialogue to those pieces. Look at something about Lost sometime, and you'll see that the Lindelof/Cuse were coming up with the ideas, and basically most of the other writers were in charge of minor, small sub stories and adding dialogue to scripts.

If it is like other years, you can go to a webpage and create your own news wire items. In fact, in the last version, I think that was the only way to get it to work. The person who created the dynasty had to do their own news wire posts.

Jesus, that's a lot of work. Do you do names/descriptions of trophies, or just number of trophies per game?

When I get down to a few trophies in a game, I'll throw them in a spreadsheet and figure out the best order to tackle them. But for almost every game I play I end up making some kind of spreadsheet. Especially RPGs and MP games.
 
Well fuck. I keep a spare phone charger at work and the cleaning crew this weekend broke it somehow. Plugs into multiple outlets fine but no charge. Where can I get a legit iPhone 4S charger on the cheap?

I do it after I finish a game and I intend to go back (which happens most of the time). I put name, description, and rank them by difficulty, so I can follow an order.

Pretty much any USB wall charger works with the iPhone cable. Some charge faster than others. I have some cheap one I got from amazon and it works fine. It does have to have enough amps, I think. Or something. I guess make sure it says it works with a 4s. I only have 4 and it has lower power requirement.

I can no longer abide mythology heavy shows which clearly don't even have the framework of a long term plan. Even when they had TWO YEARS to figure out how to end it (it was announced in 2007 that it was ending in 2010) they still managed to fuck it up.

 
Does anyone know how long Groupon orders take to ship? I ordered these Golds and they're still not shipped. My order statistics is "Awaiting fulfillment." But they charged me the day I ordered them.

And Vag I might say something to that department but given that phone use at work is supposed to be a no-no it might not be worth an argument. As long as I can get one for a few bucks off Amazon it's probably just easier that way.
