I was about to post maybe he should be asking her to marry him. She has sex with him without any commitment, she is OK with him splitting meals with her, and apparently she is anti-debt. WTF?!?!

That sucks man. I had two uncles in construction when that huge downturn in 2009-2012 happened. One retired and one lost his job and was out of work for quite a while since he'd only been doing construction his whole life. He did find a decent job a couple years ago at least.

The one who retired had no kids, which should come to a shock to nobody here.

That sucks. I submitted for the refund on the first day available. I'm still trying to figure out how I got that much back for only having between 11 and 12 months left on the account. The only thing I can figure is it is because of the 3-month promo I had gotten in on awhile back and they refunded me the amount back at the prorated 24.99 per 3-month increments.

Haha there are a couple issues that I won't get into now. But yeah she is really low maintenance when it comes to a lot of things, which is nice. Living with her would be a different story though. She thinks she is queen of the castle whenever I'm at her place and it gets super obnoxious. Beyond that she's pretty chill most of the time.

Yeah I think it that any remaining Live time I still had was forfeited.

But say she takes out the kitchen trash to the bin outside her house and puts a new trash bag in the kitchen garbage. For the love of christ I better not throw anything in that bag for a few hours because it's "a fresh bag" and "I just took out the trash!" If I want to throw anything away I have to walk it outside to the bin.

The new bag is for new trash!!!!

I just caught up on the messages. Yeah im down for some TLOU if it is still on. I had a doctor apt for my baby (hep b 1 month vaccine) and then had to do other adult stuff for a few hours. Then I beat Sacred 3 Deity super hard. and got all co op trophies cept this damn zughar 8 orb trophy. Im just about to flip this back after I hit level 50 and get all skills, im at 48 now. Prob 21y/o 1st 3sum show tonite too, so woot, yeah, but we been saying that all past week.

Again as long as it helps raise awareness and bring in more money who gives a shit. If I did Faceook I would follow my actual friends and not dozens and dozens of morons I barely know.

Sorry to hear that. That was around the same timeframe his work came to a halt. He was in a similar situation, being in construction his whole life. Early 50s when it all happened, so too young to retire and too old to start over. The worst part was he kinda beat himself up over it thinking he let everyone down.

For what it's worth their games are a lot of fun, though I'd agree $10 is asking a bit much for what they are. With so many awesome games out there (many for cheaper) it's hard to expect most people to pay that much for them, let alone the increased price when they release on PSN. Indie devs don't seem to have a ton of good business sense, but it shouldn't be hard to look at all the other devs putting games out at that price and seeing them tank to know it's not a price point that works. A shame sense I feel at $5 or so they get a lot more people checking it out and then possibly telling their friends and having them buy it, which potentially is a lot more than the original $5 less. At this point word of mouth is likely the most important factor for indie games succeeding, but few devs attempt to take advantage of it.

After beating the game on hard and getting the trophy, there's no reason for me to not drop the difficulty all the way down to get the xp I need to finish upgrades?

Being in the financial field and being required to be licensed, I could lose the ability to maintain my licenses if I were to file bankruptcy. Law changes over the last 5 years have made it harder, but it is still much easier than paying your debts.

 
Okay, so maybe buying Resistance: Burning Skies was a bad idea. I ordered this morning and it's due to be delivered tomorrow. This is with free shipping from Best Buy. They really didn't want to give me time to change my mind.  :whee:

 
wow, the protest in ferguson situation is getting out of hand. the president, and governor of missouri is even having the national guards move in. i doubt it will deter any riots from happening. the police are even arresting reports, and photographers now.

So I started Dragons Crown, and have a question for any DC pros:

Tips for managing equipment? Everything that I get needs to be appraised before I can see the stats, but that costs a shit ton of money. Should I only appraise items that are a grade higher than what I have? Should I automatically sell anything that isn't for my class, or can they be saved for future playthroughs?

yeah, only appraise items that are high, like grade A, or B. what lvl are you? i am hoping to get back into it, since i never beat the game

sounds like you have it figured out. I sell everything I can't use and everything that isn't super special once all my bags are full.

you can share gear between your characters, but there's really no reason to do it considering the frequency of good loot that you get playing normally.
