I had like 13 tokens to open up this morning... out of a recruit I pulled ANOTHER GOLD... Daredevil.

You have to be kidding me with these pulls. I have had no gold pulls for like a month and then now I get IW, Spiderman and Daredevil???

Like I can use them so that is good at least but seriously why such terrible characterssss

Pulls have gona back to crap. With getting 6 std tokens each day from the Brotherhood event I understand why drop rates are so low.

Even for 2*s its getting to be difficult. The heroic or event tokens arent doing much help either.

I think this is the only game where the rare cards outweigh the standards. In every other game when you have multiple standards you can combine them and upgrade. It would really be great if they take the MPQ concept and create a new game in which they used that idea.

Anyways yeah, they really alienated their players with the brotherhood event. I mean I felt it when I didnt have captain marvel, but this a super rare 4*? That was really fairly dirty to do. Sure some people have him, thats great but for the majority, we just dont. Once again another reason I didnt put effort into the event, tried once, failed. No essential character means you can only do so much & it shows.

Same here about the required character. That is why I have not played at all really. I jumped in two days ago and am holing a top 100 spot though so that is good for me, just wish I could nab the Yellow Patch cover. Oh well, my fault; I just did not feel like playing it earlier hah

Good news is that the next is likely Patch then as the Req Hero and so I decided to halt my Hood leveling now at 141 and focus on Patch for the upcoming event.

 
Wow, lost 120 pts over night in PVP.

6 tokens  = 600 iso

Have anyone notice that you can abuse Ares/OBW combo to trade her healing for real healing? Use gravity device, then Ares Sunder will eat the "fake" healing but when the timer pops, he gets real health back.

Looks like Beast is coming. Hopefully this opens up the door for even more X-Men seeing as they are by far and large my favorite group of comic book characters in general.

I just saw the article and havent even read it yet or seen if his moves have been announced or what but yeah haha

Like I said, new characters is a solid reason to go hard in the game but just more covers for character I have pretty much maxed anyway is not as much as an incentive. If his moveset looks good, then we all better push hard in the next PvE.

Here is the part on his moves if you dont want to read the other mumbo jumbo, he is Blue, Green and Yellow and seems pretty well rounded. I am picturing him, Hood and Torch actually being a pretty solid combo. Who do you guys think he will fit well with?

So how that manifests in the game is that he has his first ability, Mutagenic Breakthrough, where he creates Countdown Tiles that then create special Protect, Strike Tiles, or Attack Tiles. Once he has those Blue Countdown Tiles on the board, his other abilities can do extra stuff. When they aren’t on the field his other abilities still do things, but when the Blue Tiles are out he’s actually able to bring out more damaging or more effective attacks and help for his team.

His next ability, Animal Inside, is based around Green Tiles. It’s normally an area of effect attack so he attacks the entire enemy team, but if there are Blue Tiles on the board then he also blows up random tiles along with that and then deals damage for each of those other attacks. So he shakes up the board, destroys tiles, and deals more damage with his attacks.

And then his final ability is more supportive. It’s called Medical Marvel because, obviously, he’s Beast and he’s kind of the X-Men’s medic as well as everything else. Normally he’ll heal the player’s team and then if there’s Blue Tiles on the board he also drops a gadget on the board that creates a special Protect Tile, so he protects the team along with his healing.

Yeah I figured it would be since it isnt really any form of "True Healing" either way though as a support ability healing is still viable as instead of healing it moreso acts as a shield of sorts then since that damage is taken first.

 
Beast looks like a nice addition. Hopefully I can nab him. Came in late to the Daredevil pVp late. Already in the top 100 with just over a 100 points. We'll see if it sticks.

 
Just completed all nodes in the PVE, nothing big in terms of rewards (ie cover) Now I must retaliate in PVP.

I am waiting to jump into PvE until tomorrow morning to get into a better bracket. I will be traveling (in a car this time though not train) most of today and so I cant play much anyway.

We definitely all should be pushing with this PvE though like mentioned before, new characters are always great!

So interest is hugely waning in this game or I magically wait to get into a sweet bracket & then forget to join in.  Ive missed the Punisher tournament, the daredevil tournament, and now unsure about this new tournament & probably the upcoming falcon tournament.  I dont know how it happens but I wait for 1-3 hours before the end to get a sweet spot only to get distracted and do something else. 

So now Im waiting for a sweet bracket to get beast, but I totally want everyone in the alliance to push so we can get the alliance rewards.  LOL sound familar? Oh I can post pics here! :twisted:

Less than 12 hours to get the final progression award?  I know we hate grinding but just giving covers away makes the game feel pointless now.

I know what you mean. I saw that my next reward was a yellow patch, I thought hmm guess Im halfway done. Went to look, Patch was the last progression reward. Now it just seems like it'll be grind grind grind, just to get beast. Wouldve been nice for more event tokens or something. Seeing as how we still have almost 2 days left (1 day 20+ hours now) it will be annoying to stay in the top 10. Hopefully people will be out during the holiday weekend.

Ah & Booting, we're in the mid 40s last I looked. Everyone has entered the event. I think there's gonna have to be a base of 15k points or so if we REALLY want to maintain to keep that beast cover. Most of us are over 20K, more than I though have already got the 25k Patch. There's no reason ANYONE should be under 10K as of now.

I just got my yellow Patch and my daily yellow IW. I dropped from 30 to 240 overnight. Not feeling the late end time, hopefully I can get high enough that I stay top 150.
 
got the patch cover reward yesterday.  They really should have set higher progression rewards. . 
But you kicked me from the CAG alliance.

the point range between places are pretty tight. Long as I stay above 150 I'm fine  I'm only playing the three essential nodes.

Yeah, for me the alliance wasn't for so much of the competition, but it's at least nice to be with people I "know". (As much as anyone knows anyone here)

Let me know if a spot opens up and I'll come back in. I'm just in some random 20 person alliance now. No social aspect.

Yeah its sucking, you really have to be on point with this. Turn around and you're in the 100s. Im having trouble breaking back into the top 10.

At least the alliance is rocking out, Im not sure if our cocks are out though.....

The beast event is rediculous. I'm at 42,000 points and think about #140 last time I checked. Dropped from 60 to 200 something over night.

They really should have spaced out the progression rewards , or shortened this event or something. My motivation to keep playing is diminished. 

I can either play the same three essential nodes constantly, or just wait until the last minute and just play those three essential nodes for a giant boost and hooe that's enough points to keep me above #150.

They should have made more progression rewards. I mean usually dont we get more iso, hp, boosts, and maybe another 3* cover?

Anyways this event is fun, by the fact that you cant put it down for more than a couple hours. I guess everyone wants beast. I was amazed that I DIDNT drop that far down when I went to bed last night. Usually I'll play a round or two before I crash but I said F it. Woke up to being around 60-80? idk but it wasnt the 100s like I figured.

As for your score, 42k is awesome, we have some in the alliance who arent even at 30k yet. They will be dropped. I'll go ahead and dump one so you can get in, just let me know. Where we're at right now we've got a guaranteed beast cover for the alliance.

OK, spots open. I think Broly is in there screwing around. Someone got kicked before I had the chance and then someone else slipped in, alliance is private, someone should accept you when you rejoin, since EVERYONE seems to be playing this event right now.

I keep slipping from the top of the alliance to the 10th spot in minutes, its crazy.

 
I fell asleep last night without going through the 3 nodes.  May have screwed up my chance at top 20 for the 2 covers.  Sitting comfortably at ~40 after grind the primary nodes to under 100 points and more than half of my nodes are listed at either hard or deadly.  Going to do one last push after 11PM today.

They should rename Labor Day to Move in Day.  It's a pain to live in around major universities (Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern, Harvard, MIT).  Sitting in traffic for over an hour because people can't drive a damn truck or can't park it.

Yeah Broly kicked the lowest guy & someone who has 53k squeezed in. Just let me know when you're popping back in. Im in central time & around 7 my time I was looking for a sign you were playing. (I always forget if pacific is 2 or 3 hours behind central.)

We have 1 person who's at 35k & hasnt moved all day.

Congrats to everyone in the CAGvengers alliance! You did it, you showed how if you really want to, you can push and make things happen.  We made it to #47 as an alliance.  I dont know how the tier was structured but top 50, thats quite an achievement.

Hopefully everyone got at least 1 beast cover so we can all use him in the next event.

Personally this event, as usual, pissed me off in the end.  Im extremely upset at my standings as I think most of you are too. I like some of the others were at a higher tier.  I know a couple of us were in the top 10 all day.  When did it magically become a struggle to maintain the top 20?  The last half hour I watched as every battle I was done with I hovered around 25.  I wouldnt budge and couldnt even make it back to the top 20 mark.  All my nodes were giving me less than 200, most under 100.  Except the 2 end nodes in which Ragnarok & Daken just wasnt happeneing.  I was out of health packs & even then it was an issue facing them without dieing or retreating at least once.

So where did all these magical people come from?  Most of the day I was neck in neck, I even stayed in the lower 10s to let my nodes recharge.  When my nodes did recharge they never boosted me up to the top spot.  So how the hell did people just come in and sweep up?  I spent half the day playing only to end up in the top 50. I should be happy I got 2 beast covers, but man, this bullshit.... Its starting to chap my ass....badly. I mean thats why I pushed, I was actually happy to be in the top spots. Shouldve known; I feel the game gets enjoyable & it lets me down, again.

 
I feel you man. I was holding at 20-50 in the morning. Had to drive home from Orlando and take care if things before playing at night. Was at 300 when I got on a and figured doing the essentials will push me back to at least the 80s but nope. Barely holding on at 140 with an hr left, so I said forget it and went to bed.
 
I finished 133, so I have landed two Beasts.  Unfortunately, it cost me 500 HP to open a new spot for him, and it will be forever before I can use him in anything besides required nodes/tourneys, but he's there, hanging out next to Captain Marvel at level 43.

Great job as an alliance, in an ultra-competitive event no less!  Now everyone who sticks around should have a Beast for whatever the next event is.

 
55k was only good enough for #180 in my bracket. Next time I'm waiting for that magic hour that broly and ds seem to find... Well at least we got the alliance reward!

Pfft as if I don't know what I am doing! Still got higher than you ; P

So, I drove down 4 hours to visit family Friday night and left Monday night. Needless to say I didn't have prime MPQ playing time at all as I would much rather spend time with them than play a mobile game. Luckily though my Patch is maxed powers at 3/5/5 and a decent level and so boosted and paired with a boosted OBW I pretty much destroyed all tiles super quickly. I would squeeze in matches here and there throughout the weekend and before bed then I would just lay and play as my main time.

When it came down to it I really wanted to be able to push in the event as a final charge but it was getting late and I had to start my drive otherwise I wouldnt get home until like 3am and so instead of pushing I drove home, knowing damn well I was screwing myself by doing it.

I couldn't take it though and at 10:30pm (event ends at 11pm my time) I just pulled off the highway, parked at a gas station and loaded up MPQ for a final push for 30 minutes hahah

Unfortunately it was not enough time to get top 10 but I did squeeze in the top 20 with ltrain who was again in my bracket!

It just sucked though because if I had just a bit more time I could have easily scored top 10. My guys were full health and I had 3 health packs left at the 11. My nodes were all still giving at least 100 at the time, the tougher ones almost 200. I just ran out of time : (

Either way though it was a great push by the Alliance and is further proof that I don't want to hear shit the next event we need to push in because we got #47!!

Also, about the booting of that person at apparently a weird time for what was going on here, sorry. We were starting to drop a tiny bit and was tracking that kid's progress and figured it was time to let him go to cement our spot. When I go visit family I largely shut off all communication and just focus on being with them (playing this game was my small exception) but so I was not on the forums at all since Friday afternoon.

If you need to give me a heads up I have the FB Messenger App that gives me alerts like a text so you guys can always just try and grab my attention there.

Again though, great job guys! Now my Patch is 3/5/5 at 115 and he is a freaking beast I love him haha. Granted his Red is largely only that good when powered up but either way having him be able to tank so well with his consistent healing is a great addition to any team especially since the True Healing Patch.
