Yeah, I realized that five minutes after my post, on my way to work.

Unfortunately, I can't check that until after work, when Velocity 2X will hopefully be up for download. For the sake of the contest, you'll have to be deal with not knowing. :boxing:

 
This is probably going to ruin a lot of your days, but sorry guys, they just announced Velocity 2x *doesn't* have a Platinum Trophy.

That's a shame for your competition.

I think they use "platinum" as a general term for 100%.

I didn't do a very good job of finishing up as many PS3 games as I could before PS4 comes. Hopefully I'll finish up TLOU in the next couple days, and then can polish off a quick and easy one. I'll be a cool kid and list all my potentially short games and let people pick for me.

nope! don't know why they'd sell a season pass and then sell dlc outside of that pass - do they really do that? or do they just release more stuff after the season pass content has all released?

The purpose of the Season Pass on B2 was including all the DLC in the pipeline. They then decided to release that extra content outside of it.

 
I'm not planning on buying this one at all. I don't even plan on playing BL2. I had the GOTY edition of the original and while I enjoyed it for the most part, it began to wear really thin before I was finished. Got really tired of it.

I made it through 2 and one of the DLCs for 2, but yeah, I'm super burnt out on Borderlands as well.

I'm getting really tired of seeing so much planned DLC and the whole season pass thing. It really turns me off from a game because I know I'm not getting the full game when it comes out. It seems like it often better to just wait for the inevitable GOTY edition of pretty much every AAA game.

 
All signs point to Borderlands being ported to next gen. Easy skip at release.

Or in the case of Borderlands 2, wait for the game of the year version which has like 3/4 of all released content.

Second Son update:  I am enjoying my second playthrough a little more than the first.  I really like being a dick and shooting everyone.  IN THE FACE!

There's something about paying for DLC before a game is out that just doesn't feel right to me.  I played through the first Borderlands on 360, but was kinda burned out when I started playing the second and never finished.  Probably will be passing on the pre-sequel unless it hits plus.

This could end up being perfect if in a week you say "I have never called anyone stupid and I will give $20 to anyone who can prove me wrong." But then of course you have to refuse out give the $20 because idiot and stupid aren't the same thing.
