Yep. I'm about as far away from being a Texan as possible. When people say "Run for the Border", I'm thinking about Tim Hortons and not Taco Bell.

Eh when you've come this far half assing it to the point where you're selling a game on Steam as a 'developer' by using default by the numbers assets in an antiquated construction kit that belongs 20 years in the past why even bother to make an effort now?

It's not like most people care about the cards anyway beyond selling them or obsessively OCD collecting them or leveling.

Even the weeaboo ones are starting to be a tough sell lately.

Except Naruto which needs some god damned cards but Bandai Europe is all uh duh people want cards? Who knew? On their Steam forum for Revolution.

Actually in Victim of Xen all the characters look like default characters (witch girl, orange haired guy, blonde girl). That's just lazy and sad that there is a game like that on Steam in the first place.

 
When people complain about food giving them the shits, it's usually a problem on their end (HAR HAR) not the food. If it's the food then you're vomiting and shivering.

I've avoided Taco Bell for so many years I developed a blind spot to even the one I pass twice on my commute but otherwise I'm the kind of person that has a mental map of every drive-thru window in a 15-mile radius. fuck that shit. It's not like real tacos from a real tacqueria will set you back, and the ones around here are open just as late.

I'm getting the impression from this discussion that there aren't (m)any RPGMaker games worth kicking up the backlog.

There are lots of shitty ones (see: Ardorlea), but not all. To The Moon is an obvious example of a well done, very well regarded game made in RPG Maker (XP).

To The Moon and Always Sometimes Monsters are the only ones that come to mind, and ironically neither is really an RPG (in the traditional sense; we don't need to have this argument again).
 
^Being thankful for any opportunity to derail a thread: back when I was working at Barnes & Noble as a summer job, one of us booksellers' responsibilities actually included bathroom detail, but not for one's whole shift. I'll never forget just narrowly missing having to clean up a massive shitsplosion someone left in the middle of the room, and the look on my co-worker's face when he realized he'd pulled the winning ticket. My karmic retribution was getting a speeding ticket on the way to a mandatory meeting on my day off.

One of my first days of work at my current job (loss prevention) was the same thing. Thankfully the mess was just a small nugget of shit in the middle of the public restroom. Unfortunately someone had stepped in it, and then tracked it from the restroom all the way to the exit of the store, so that was fun.

It's a nice job that rewards an attention to detail and using your head, and it gives you a lot of downtime when things are slow, but sadly we're the only ones trained to handle bodily fluid cleanup, which includes blood, shit, piss, cum, whatever. Thankfully it almost ever comes up.

Naw, Sears used to have some flip-worthy deals and clearance on their older console stuff. Learned about it here. Man, I actually used to physically get up and move around to CAG. A Gabentary lifestyle is hazardous to your health.

 
It's a job. Actually Sears still makes a shit ton of money, and even has government contracts apparently. They've also got more store credit card owning customers than all similar businesses combined. They're pretty massive.

lol...the SDers abuse stuff like crazy so they're not the best people to base anything off of. If you use your SYWR account normally, you usually don't have any issues. I've only tried to take advantage of one of the points glitches and they didn't honor it, but I just cancelled the order and got a refund so it wasn't a hassle. I've never had too many issues using their coupons/non-glitch offers for points.

I passed on a (Humble upper-tier, I think) bundle with this one. I'm so glad because it's definitely a game that looks like it'll be interesting to play. Not at all unlock-fodder that you normally see.

 
I'm pretty sure that fixed price tier at humble is the only time it's been bundled. I'm really surprised this wasn't a headliner game instead of a bonus.

I'm not surprised.. It's KISS, all of their games get bundled multiple times. You know they're desperate when they bundled games with Bundle Bandits.
