Why do so many of you live so far away from civilization. I have 3 Bestbuys and probably 5 gamestops within 15 mins.Should I get a PS4 tomorrow?
Before a couple of you say "No, get the Destiny bundle next week," I have a few excuses. 1)I don't give a shit about Destiny. 2)I like the white color, but I don't think I like it enough to pay more up front and then deal with trying to unload Destiny. I'd rather just spend the money up front to buy a game I actually want. Plus I think I like the white controller more than the system anyway. 3)I'll be out tomorrow doing other stuff, and don't want to have to drive 60 miles round trip again on Tuesday to go pick one up, assuming I can even find one.
Decisions.
Ive never tossed a bottle or brick at an enemy. Does that make me weird? Im on my 5th playthrough on TLOU right now.1. Pick up brick/bottle.

TLoU has clearly taught you well.I've been playing tlou mp all night (finally done!) and all I can think about is throwing a molotov over the fence at all these 14 year olds. what does that say about me?
It makes the game so much easier on the tricky encounters. Have you tried Grounded yet? That's where it really comes in handy, because the AI isn't completely stupid.Ive never tossed a bottle or brick at an enemy. Does that make me weird? Im on my 5th playthrough on TLOU right now.
The only hard encounter I remember is on the level Sewers and you probably know which one im referring to (I dont want to go into detail of which part it is because people think everything is a spoiler). Other than that I run past everyone or stealthily kill them.It makes the game so much easier on the tricky encounters. Have you tried Grounded yet? Yup, straight to Grounded works. Basically infected encounters are still easy, but human enemies start to suck. The only hard encounter I remember is on the level Sewers and you probably know which one im referring to (I dont want to go into detail of which part it is because people think everything is a spoiler). I cant wait to do Grounded on PS4. Can you go from easy to grounded? If so ill do that. Wasnt sure if you still have to beat survival or if grounded will unlock the survival difficulty trophy.
Awesome. Cant wait to play without worrying about collectibles. Granted all the trophies unlock like they should. Im about to finish the game on easy gathering everything.Yup, straight to Grounded works. Basically infected encounters are still easy, but human enemies start to suck.
People really didn't like Niko at all. The phone calls is what bugged me, but I think GTA IV is amazing. Not a huge fan of the Ballad of Gay Tony or Lost and the Damned.GTA 4 was great. I dont get the hate either
It just dawned on me that the same guy voices Sully in Uncharted and Tom Sheldon in Just Cause.
True dat homie. How daFirst Light is better. Play that Pharmacrest.
I will if I could just get musicians and sign guys toFirst Light is better. Play that Pharmacrest.
I ain't quittin, im still gonna plat dis shit. Might take a month or two but fuk it.That didnt take Snakey long to quit.
By the same people that did Stick of Truth?Man can we just get a next gen Simpsons game announced already..
+1I'm stuck watching some zebra and caliou at midnight. I HATE caliou.
Hopefully she'll go to bed earlier soon. I've been too tired to game after putting her to sleep
Yeah, but they'll be dressed in ugly hoodies with Transformers helmets. It almost evens out.I've been buying Blu Rays of classic cartoons like Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry so if I ever have a kid, I'll be raising him or her on those.
I'm not spending $400 on a hoodie for a child, you think I'm crazy?Yeah, but they'll be dressed in ugly hoodies with Transformers helmets. It almost evens out.
I don't get that at all. Why do people play games like that and just look up the answers? Where's the fun in that? Gator, help me out with understanding this. And in that Fibbage game, who was Betachris? Dude was looking up every answer. There's no way you know the answer to every single question like 10 games in a row.
A little bit, yeah.I'm not spending $400 on a hoodie for a child, you think I'm crazy?
I wanted to like it, but ain't no reason to take shots at gator, bro.I don't get that at all. Why do people play games like that and just look up the answers? Where's the fun in that? Gator, help me out with understanding this.
The phone calls could be ignored, but i guess some people forced themselves to do them. I agree it was a terrible mechanic.People really didn't like Niko at all. The phone calls is what bugged me, but I think GTA IV is amazing. Not a huge fan of the Ballad of Gay Tony or Lost and the Damned.
...what? How were you ignoring phone calls? They're the primary way to get story updates that aren't through cutscenes. Oh yeah, that's right. Forgot who posted this for a second. The phone calls could be ignored, but i guess some people forced themselves to do them. I agree it was a terrible mechanic.
But Niko? Niko was great. His cousin, not so much.
I think it also suffered from coming after San Andreas. I think people were expecting the GTA:SA feature set -- tons of side missions, tons of craziness, bikes (the pedal kind), territory takeovers, etc... and then GTAIV toned all that down. There were still side missions and stuff, but... it just wasn't as over the top.
I think GTAV really got the balance right. I can't wait to replay it on PS4 [once the price drops].
I'm guessing that shit about leaving the game on for 16 hours is unnecessary then?Under Defeat plat in 6 hours, 35 minutes. 15th fastest on PSN Profiles.
YOU VIG I'M KING OF THE THREAD NOW!
I didn't think it was that hard. Velocity games are definitely harder.I'm guessing that shit about leaving the game on for 16 hours is unnecessary then?
