Still stuck on lvl 47.

fuck.

fuck this level fuckerteen times.

I am complaining here in hopes that I get it next try. I can run the entire level in my head. I can ace the hard parts. But without fail, 4 minutes or so in I die a stupid, avoidable death.

Yes. Stupid easy jump. Die every time.

After I die, I can do it fuckerteen times in a row with no problem. When it counts, I die. Meanwhile I can do the laser room blindfolded, kill minotaurs with a feather, and have a time that's like 15 seconds faster than the speed runs on youtube.

But that stupid, easy, jump kills me. if not that one, then the 3 angled jumps in a row at the bottom of the second platform section (also should be easy).

EDIT -- i just realized my button fingers are basically pulp. tried to play something else and could barely move them. so i think that's part of my issue -- i can't double triangle square (throw tele) at all. gonna give my hand a couple days rest and try 47 again.
I found it easier to "nudge" myself close to that wall then teleport while falling rather than running-jumping straight at it before teleporting.

This looks surprisingly good:

Although I have no idea why the Youtube video has roughly 50/50 thumbs up/down. :whistle2:k

Oh I can use the thermscale correctly. :) Watched The Untouchables for the first time last night and thought it was terrible. Truly a 9/10. Went in blind and got burned. Same director of Scarface, Mission Impossible, Carlito's Way... So basically he's made one decent movie his entire career. Overindulgent and corny as hell. People enjoy it, I guess. Again - 9/10 therms.

You thought Mission Impossible was a good movie? :shame:

I like these Under Defeat HD trophy descriptions:

"DESTROY A SPECIFIC NUMBER OF ENEMIES WITH THE OPTION WEAPON"

Thanks for the specificity.

I think I got all of them that didn't require extra playthroughs aside from the one that required having 6 bombs. If you have a 2nd controller it's pretty easy, but the requirements without that are just stupid.

How do you east coasters stay up so late?
I would have replied to this earlier, but I was asleep.

No work tomorrow, bitch. You said you were going to play Destiny with me and then you TRADED IT IN. Because YOURE A fuckING LIAR!
Tyler is a filthy liar. After he traded in Destiny I asked him if he wanted to start playing something new co-op with me and what and he said "I'm not really in the mood to play another FPS at the moment" then the next day he's posting in the thread about how he started Resistance 2. Just admit that FPS is your favorite genre ever, jerkface.

Yes, some of his friends took awhile to "grow up"

Which I hate when people are like that. Stupid people annoy me. It's why I never liked anyone my own age.
Did anyone else think that this totally did not follow at all? Krissy with a ch, if you don't like people who are your age because they're dumb, why were you 18 years old and going to parties full of dudes in their late 20s who go around pulling down each other's pants so they can look at some dicks? If stupid people annoy you, how is hanging out with older stupid people better?

I heard Munky didn't even buy Tyler's crush her own drink before banging her.
Actually, yesterday we went to chipotle and she bought my food. You hear that Tyler? My food was free and I didn't even need a coupon. But then again, she didn't buy me a drink before she banged me, so I guess she's the Tyler in the relationship.

It's cross-buy...so we'll all get it free. I'm wondering who they think doesn't already have this that wants it enough to pay, though.
The PS3/Vita versions share a trophy list, so unless we get a new list for PS4...I'm not going to bother with it.

It could be a fun candidate for streaming, though.

I hope Bloodborne is a touch more accessible than the Demon/Dark Souls games.

I wish I could stream Demon Souls so I could get tips and stuff from you guys. Maybe I'll get Bloodborne when it's a bit cheaper and stream it so you guys can give me tips on WTF I"m supposed to do.
Just from the gameplay trailers I've seen it looks a bit more Devil May Cry-ish as the dodge is a LOT faster than in the Soul's game and it has a dedicated button for health potions.

Pick Royal as your starting class in Demon's Souls and that will alleviate half the aggravation of starting out as the spell they start with one shots most enemies in the first level. Then as soon as you finish the first level and get access to the other worlds. Enter the Shrine of Storms, follow the path. As soon as you enter the fort turn left, then left again dodge the scary looking guy with the two katana swords, grab the item on the ground (a nice sword) and jump off to get away. Use bad ass sword for the next 1/3 to 1/2 of the game. If you get stuck you can always ask questions in the Demon's Soul thread I can either explain it or link you to a post where I already explained it.

Stop tempting me to deviate from my plan after platting JC2 (Puppeteer -> Rayman Origins -> AC: Brotherhood)... :joystick:

*wakes back up*

So who's getting this for $79.99 ($63.99 at Best Buy after GCU, please)...?

*raises hand*
Man those steelbook cases almost make me want to buy something physical. The problem is I don't keep my games anymore after I finish them (unless it's digital since I don't have a choice). I really need to try out the souls games, I just saw on howlongtobeat.com that they take at least 50 hours or more and I'm like yeah nope not right now. Lol. Dark Souls is also not available digital on PS3, but it's ok I have it digital on 360.

Bullshit! Spent $27.81 on one meal at a local (this time it is actually local) pizza place on a pizza, soda, and drinks. Plus another buck on parking!

I did get away with two ~$6 lunches this week though with a Weinerschnitzel coupon and KFC Wednesday special.

And Arby's 2 for $6 French Dips tomorrow. But we'll get fries too so it's gonna be $7.xx.
Do you ever eat anything that isn't fast food? Are you trying to kill yourself?

My point was, why say "specific number" instead of just saying what the number is? Is it more "fun" to get these trophies without knowing what the number is, or by looking up somewhere else what the number is? It's just dumb.

IT'S OBVIOUSLY COOLER TO SAY "SPECIFIC NUMBER" IN ALL CAPS

DAT CAPS LOCK DOE

I'm actually considering skipping the second Dark Souls because (1) I have two Souls games to play as it is and (2) I've heard from fans that it isn't as good as the first.

And I like pickles, so I guess I welcome that label.
That's because for a lot of them, Dark Souls 1 was their first game in the series, so the sequel isn't going to be as fresh an experience. I felt much the same way about Dark Souls 1 since I played Demon's Souls first. The environments and the world is better constructed in Dark Souls 1 (the environments feel smaller with less personality in Dark Souls 2), but from a gameplay perspective the fine tuning of combat mechanics, simplification of the crafting system, addition of true dual-wielding via the power stance mechanic, fast travel unlocked from the start, etc. means IMO the gameplay is superior in Dark Souls 2 compared to Dark Souls 1. I've also heard the DLC levels are excellent, better than a lot of the base game. Hopefully they'll put out a GOTY edition at some point (I wouldn't be surprised if a disc with the 3 DLC ends up on PS4/XBone) for those that are hesitant to jump in..

They're my husbands friends (some of them at party not all), I liked my husband so hence I went where he was.
