I was wary of that deal, so didn't do it. If you ever get your monies, though, I'll be pissed.
It wasn't sketchy or anything, looked official. I think it said it would take around a week for codes to get sent out.

I don't avoid FPS games, but I much prefer third person for both action and shooters. I'm much better at third person shooters as well.

Only FPS games I avoid are the generic military-style ones (CoD, Battlefield, Wolfenstien) with little to know upgrade/leveling system. So I don't really know why I'm playing through Resistance 2. I like the bad guys, they look cool. I also have the Killzone collection in my backlog and I don't know why.
I'm not a big fps guy either as most of you know, but the Killzone games are certainly worth a playthrough. You'd definitely be ok skipping KZ 1, but 2 and 3 were great in my opinion.

Apparently the Angels just won the AL West because my dumbass friend just retweeted like 5 different tweets about the Angels winning the AL West.
Following up on this, one of my other friends just tweeted to my Angels fan friend:

"hey no hard feelings or nothin but I'm going to have to stop following u till the Angels are eliminated from the playoffs."

I give KZ2 2/10 Therms. The 2 is just because of the annoying trophies.

KZ:M is quite good as well, though very different from KZ2.

But if it shares the same trophy list as the PS3/Vita versions, a lot of us will be disqualified.
I'm assuming it wouldn't since they're releasing it months after the PS3 and Vita versions came out. If it did share the trophy list, then it wouldn't qualify.

Awesome, you've just reach the stingiest part of the game for upgrades. Enjoy!
Level 20 in Destiny bad? Wait until you're Level 24. It gets worse, way worse. The highlight of my night yesterday was going 32/16 and my buddy who went negative gets a Legendary Engram, which resulted in a Legendary bitchin' Sniper. Guess what I got?

But then how will he know when to refollow?

It's almost as if the reward system is completely random and not based on K/D ratio!

I missed all the good morning banter because of a fuck ing management training class.

Is there anyone left that hasnt heard how much I hate work?  Seriously.  fuck work.

15/10 THERMS

EDIT: I didnt even see that I had over 100 emails to wade through either.

I dont recall a game like Thomas where it's two completely opposite ends of the spectrum. People either really love it, or they really hate it.
Yeah it's weird. I really don't get why so many people hate it so much, it's such an inoffensive little game.

I liked it alright, the platforming was just too simple for me. Enjoyed the ambiance enough. 7/10.

That is the point, Stotch. It shouldn't be random and I am inclined to believe it always favors bottom feeders, since I've gotten better stuff from story/strikes than Crucible, and I'm at Level 2 there. I can't recall the last time I played a game with such a solid foundation being bogged down by the multitude of opposing systems in it.

Damn, my 2nd legendary engram turned into ascendant energy. Is there a good way to farm strange coins?
Cro tells me last night: "Make sure you guys have at least 13 strange coins for the weekend to get an exotic."

So I say: "Yeah I only have about 5 right now, I don't think I'm going to make it."

His response: "Just turn the weekly strike to the hardest difficulty, do that and you'll get 9 more."

Ok Cro.

Nope, I've done pretty well and got some pretty decent stuff from the Crucible. So your bottom feeder theory is wrong.

I will say this though, Destiny is easily the worst World War II shooter I've ever played.

I'm in the middle. It's okay, but nothing great. I think I'm about halfway through now (5.x?)

Could really care less about finishing it. If you want to tell a story, write a book.

Don't make a 'minimalist' game that's just filled with variations of Tower of Hanoi puzzles.

Tyler, I see Stotch got a lot more likes last night and this morning for making fun of you.  I dont remember seeing a death threat though.  Are those only reserved for me and Munky now?

I think he got an equal amount for making fun of me, so I'm pretty sure he considers us to be even. He probably counted them up to make sure first.

I'm at the third opposite end--I thought it was really meh.

Exactly my thoughts.

Haha, yeah, the hardest weekly strike is at level 28 too. That's the reason I want more strange coins too. Ah well, maybe next weekend.

You should ask him while you're bruh-ing each other.
I know it wasn't Snakey. If I thought it was him, I wouldn't be trying to buy it, because he is all digital. I think it was Velo.

It's nice to have on PS4, but it's not going to have any crazy graphics or anything. I really enjoyed it on the vita.

Isn't Fez kinda like this for the peeps in here? And maybe Journey?
fucking hate every single thing about Journey.

Except that at level 24 you should have enough vanguard marks to buy a legendary piece of armor, with a 2nd armor not too long after that. At level 20 I was baffled that nothing was available to me, as the gunsmith stopped selling items at level 18. Even with the marks I still had to get to vanguard reputation level 2 before I could use them. The odds of getting a legendary from an engram is still terrible even if you level up the cryptarch, so purchasing is the way to go.

Unnecessary lunch dessert report:

I love pumpkin pie, but Rita's pumpkin pie cream ice... no. Definitely not worth the calories. Better described as pumpkin spice ice.
You mean pumpkin sp-ice.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
That doesn't have the same ring to it. So, no.

I was kinda hoping you didn't notice that. I don't know why I picked up Resistance 2 to play.

To be fair, I played it on Monday and haven't touched it since. So I am apparently burnt out on FPS games.
Yeah, liars don't like getting called out on their lies, you liar. I know exactly why you picked it up. You thought, "Boy, I sure do love shooters! I am so sad I traded in Destiny. Now I'll need to find a different one to play. I loved Burning Skies, so I guess I'll try another Resistance game. Shooters shooters shooters! I can't get enough of these games!"

I'm playing Destiny alone on my day off because he lied about keeping it and traded it in early.

Man he's such a liar!

SHE bought YOU food?!?!?!? How do I get in on that action? Wait, do I have to let her live at my house for a few days? If so, then it's not worth it.
She also picked up dinner when we went to a tex mex place on Tuesday night. And she actually didn't end up spending the night at my place at all. She was only at my apartment during the banging. You've just got to be totally awesome to get in on that action.

Yeah, but Fez and Journey were on a lot of people's Top 10 lists the year they came out. Fez has a super dickish polarizing developer and Journey's developer's previous games were also super polarizing since they're quite unique, short, and simplistic.

Those things contribute to the Fez and Journey opinions, I get why they're the way they are. I just don't get it for Thomas Was Alone, which was mostly just heralded as "quite good" and has a pretty normal developer with no real track record or wacky Twitter account.

Where No Fan Has Gone Before, which features most of the original Star Trek cast as themselves, is also pretty good.
Pretty good is a pretty big understatement.

The Deep South and Put Your Head On My Shoulders are probably my two favorite, but the Star Trek episode is excellent. Godfellas is extremely clever as well.

The movies weren't my favorite, but a lot of the renewed Comedy Central episodes were quite good, which is surprising since when most shows come back they end up sucking way worse than the original. Easy 5 rating for me. Futurama is great.
