Damn. LoS2 and 2K14 went quick. TR is still available. I want it for PS4, but I know there are a ton of other games I'll play before I replay that one. I'm sure it'll keep dropping like last gen's version did.

How does making Donald Trump less rich help the poor? Well, with higher revenue the government wouldn't have to eviscerate social safety nets and other important government oversight agencies in the name of balancing budgets. Money flowing to the top end often sits in an investment and accumulates more wealth, money flowing to the lower end is immediately spent and eventually goes back into the pockets of the rich corporations and conglomerates anyway.

Taking too much from the rich I can understand can be harmful, but on the other end of the spectrum in Kansas as of a couple of years ago some types of companies (LLCs) have to pay ZERO KS taxes on their business income. They also greatly lowered the % of the personal income tax for the top wage bracket. They also slightly lowered the % of the lowest income bracket but at the same time eliminated many low income exemptions resulting in no net reduction or a HIKE in taxes for the lowest income bracket. This has resulted in the drastic reduction in revenue for the state of KS, something like a $330 million short of budgeted expectations so far this year. With tea party republicans in firm control of both houses of the state legislature (at least for the next few months) when they make up those shortfalls in the next budget I guarantee that's going to come at the expense of safety nets, healthcare, and education. Supply side economics don't work, the total failure of the governor's "experiment" (his words) in Kansas is final proof of that and that's why he is probably going to lose his election to a Democrat in blood red Kansas this November.

It's hard to take the author seriously when he keeps referring to higher taxes as the more hyperbolic term "property seizure."

The game is really fun, but I assume you have the free from Plus PS3 version? If so, it is not really any different on the PS4 besides better graphics. I would not advise paying $15 unless you just can not stand touching a DS3 anymore.

 
So, I currently have Tomb Raider for PS4 out on my gamefly account and am thinking about keeping it since it would only be $9.99 after the gamefly rewards dollars I have. Question is this, the disc has small chips on the out side edge of the disc like most gamefly discs seem to have, does this affect trade-in with gamestop/bestbuy, etc?

I hear (and heard) that last night. My wife told me I could play all night she didn't feel well and was going to lay down and watch some TV. Then pretty much right after we finished the strike she asked me when I was doing to be done. I was like 30 mins or so.

I will still be on for a bit if you are around though.

Tapatalk didn't exactly double-post. More like I killed it, then it didn't appear to have posted, then I tried again and then it turned out both posted. And the 2nd one was missing some of the text. Well, I hid the dupe. All is right with the world….

It probably would have double-posted had I just let that first try ride, though.

Batman: AA is disappointing, but understandable as a plus game for WB interactive to supply. Anyone who was going to spend money out of pocket to purchase that game probably already has, so anyone who hasn't up to this point is a potential convert that they can get to buy Batman: Arkham Knight. It's also a much better game than origins. So it represents the 2nd or 1st best game in the Arkham series and will cost them the least amount of potential future sales as compared to any of the other Arkham games. Of the 2 Arkham games not on PS+, AA is the best bang for their buck to advertise Arkham Knight.

Why do we have a separate thread for the tournament? Are we worried about breaking up all the politics talk with a trophy tournament discussion?

I assume Tyler thought there would be a lot more interest and discussion about it and that it would annoy some of the regulars. I think the idea made sense, but it does not seem like many who are interested in the discussion are interested in using the other thread at this point.

Didnt mean to start a debate, just thought it was a good article and wanted to share.

In hindsight, wont ever post another article that could be construed as political. It wasnt by the way, it was an article about economics and distribution of wealth, which can be made to be political if you want it to be.

So yea, something about a tournament with trophies ?

Hmm, well I am not interested in Zen or their poorly designed tables, but I have to take issue with the claim that the real South Park pinball machine is good. I remember it being pretty terrible. I will admit that i haven't played it since it was new, though.

 
How about that part in the Bloodborne video Vig posted where the dude fell more than 4 feet and didn't die? Such next gen! It still looks super similar to the souls games to me. I'm not hyped.

If I already didn't own a PS4 then I'd definitely buy one for Bloodborne. This is the game I can't wait for on the PS4.
 
People playing gameshow games solo, for trophies… that makes me laugh. If they have online why aren't you guys playing them together? How dumb can you get?
