Velo. I know your into free love and all that jazz but those people look like they will murder you for your weed. Be careful.you guys are better at playing games then I am. i start jrpgs and then realize they are jrpgs and give up. unless simmias/stotch dare me to beat them.
also found another girl tonite then found out she has a hubby then found out hubby wants to come over with some other couple we both know too but his girl can't come all week. idk, seems like a long con. im like yeah usually we don't split couples, or would rather cam with both at first, and usually we don't pay guys either. they are like oh yeah she is super fun, but ya know we need a ride and he is down for doing a shoot. lol idk bout this.
2 on left 2 on right, no idea who guy in middle is.![]()
oh its the black haired girl again, I like her. Whats up with the 2 dudes on the rite? Your not gonna cam with them r u?you guys are better at playing games then I am. i start jrpgs and then realize they are jrpgs and give up. unless simmias/stotch dare me to beat them.

The ending, that's why. :shock:Almost done withMetal Gear BioshockBurial at Sea Part 2. I don't like it near as much as the first. Elizabeth is so weak. Not digging the forced stealth at all. Why did everyone rave about this one but shit on Part 1?
must playis the Left Behind dlc worth playing or is it skippable? hoping to trade this bad boy tomorrow.
As someone who actually played both and isn't just basing their opinion on the trophy list, I say it's skippable. Unless you were super hooked by the story and absolutely need to know more about Ellie's history, then just skip it.must play
This looks amazing. A bit confusing, though...at times it was 1st person, other times 3rd, and sometimes it seemed like it was a floating camera rather than being attached to the character.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVyJs_puY9A
finally finished up the last of us. for anyone that cares, thoughts spoilered below (don't read it if you haven't played it, PHARM).
* that ending is questionable, which I think makes it good. I hated what it did to the characters (or my perception of them), but I guess it's better to elicit some sort of emotion than nothing at all. I wish that they would've made it a choice with two completely different endings when you're in the OR - save her or walk out. would've made the game 100x better in my mind with that one simple change.
I'll probably get my one missing collectible and joke tonight and play the beginning on grounded+ just to see how rough it is.

That's because it's a cinematic trailer, and besides, we've known for a long time that it's a 3rd-person shooter. This looks amazing. A bit confusing, though...at times it was 1st person, other times 3rd, and sometimes it seemed like it was a floating camera rather than being attached to the character.
I might give left behind a shot, started watching it on youtube and paid more attention that I would've expected so I guess I should.I loved the ending. Naughty Dog has never played around with multiple endings so I don't expect it was ever in the cards, but it would have diminished it if there was a choice. They spent the whole game building Joel and Ellie's relationship so that it would only make sense for him to choose to save her and kill anyone who got in the way. Great stuff
Also, Left Behind is awesome. Definitely play. It's not that long and there are a couple interesting new gameplay ideas (people and infected at the same time). The majority of it is story stuff, though.
I think so, but agree with Stotch. If you didn't really like the main game, then you probably aren't missing anything. But it does give you some cool background into Ellie.is the Left Behind dlc worth playing or is it skippable? hoping to trade this bad boy tomorrow.
Finish Mutant Mudds Deluxe? Now I gotta figure out what to play next on the Vita.
Might not be a bad idea, even though I did quit in frustration at the grannie levels.Finish Mutant Mudds Deluxe?
Pix the Cat for the trophy tournament? Now I gotta figure out what to play next on the Vita.
Yes. Because he looks like Johnny Bananas.Am I the only one who thinks Sebastian (player character) looks kind of like Matt Smith (Doctor Who)?
Ahhh. Yeah, you guys need to keep in mind that I don't give a shit about stories 99% of the time. Don't hype me up for story in games!!!The ending, that's why.
It's not going to happen this month Crunch, but you should PM me or post with more details on how you see that working, and how easy/hard it will be to track scores for everyone. I'm assuming there's a leaderboard within the daily challenge in spelunky. If you liked the Spelunky Daily Challenge Challenge idea, you need to get yourself over to that PSN OT trophy thread and vote for it! Not the trophy one, the Daily Challenge one. Do it!
Well, I forgot that a lot of the time, you and I are almost polar opposites when it comes to story vs. gameplay.Ahhh. Yeah, you guys need to keep in mind that I don't give a shit about stories 99% of the time. Don't hype me up for story in games!!!
Gameplay-wise, BaS Ep 1 > BaS Ep 2.
I thought you would have been in the gameplay camp.Well, I forgot that a lot of the time, you and I are almost polar opposites when it comes to story vs. gameplay.![]()
It really depends on the game. For Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Burial At Sea, The Last of Us, Spec Ops, and even Deadly Premonition, the gameplay itself didn't floor me, but I immensely enjoyed their stories. I won't turn down a game if it lacks a compelling story (e.g., Just Cause 2, one of the funnest games I've played in years), but I also won't ignore them for the most part.I thought you would have been in the gameplay camp.
Hate of Visual NovelsI'm more likely to sit through a shitty story for good gameplay than I am to sit through shitty gameplay for a good story.
I can't believe I haven't caught you yet. I need to step my game up.I finally got to the second half of SoM
This is why you only play them if they support auto-skip for easy trophy stat padding.Hate of Visual Novels
Becomes enraged when forced to sit through lines of dialogue with no gameplay other than pressing "X" repeatedly
/SoM reference
I forgot about VLR and 999. MAN, I love that storyline. This is why you only play them if they support auto-skip for easy trophy stat padding.
I really really tried to get into VLR, but the amount of dialog and spamming of X made me want that one to just be over.
Regarding TLOU ending...finally finished up the last of us. for anyone that cares, thoughts spoilered below (don't read it if you haven't played it, PHARM).
* I'm probably alone here, but tooooo long. I ended up not hating the game and having some fun, but I could've certainly done with less of it.
* I get that there's a 'right' way to play this game (which is essentially the survivor/grounded difficulties I guess) but I think I probably enjoyed it more on easy. having _options_ for any given situation made it fun; having to always save every single bullet and kill everyone with a bottle to the head/run up and smash combo feels like it would ruin my experience. I would usually stealth a section until I blew it and then shoot my way out re4 style.
* speaking of which, the game plays a lot like modern resident evil games to me (like a mix of re5 and 6). again, that's when played the 'wrong' way.
* that ending is questionable, which I think makes it good. I hated what it did to the characters (or my perception of them), but I guess it's better to elicit some sort of emotion than nothing at all. At least TLOU has a crouch button. Ubisoft still hasn't figured out how to include that control option in six AC games.I have decided to avoid TLOU which according to many is the best video game story ever just because of the stealth gameplay mechanics which usually make me hate playing a game.
I feel so important... :bow:K, October challenge info is in the OP. Make sure to read it as there have been some changes. Also I'll answer a few other FAQ questions here as well, let me know if I miss anything or there's anything else you want to know.
- NEW RULE! You must have your PSN card in your CAG signature to be eligible to win. If you absolutely refuse to do this or are unable to do this, you need to PM both myself and Vigilante and we will go through the steps of verifying your identity privately.
Pretty sure "knocking it out and getting a maximum return" isn't the point of gaming. Why in thedoes it matter to you?
If they can knock it out and get a maximum return for it then good for them. Don't be jealous that they have more time to play games than you.
Haha, I figure 2 person verification is better than 1, and you're the reigning champ so who better to pick.I feel so important...
I really didn't like ICO much at all. I don't really know why I pushed through to the end other than the fact that it is short and I don't like to leave a game unfinished.I ragequit ICO last night during the section in the graveyard. You go down the steps, and then a bunch of the shadow monsters come out and you have to fight them while trying to keep them away from that useless girl. Then you have to push a block onto a plate, direct the girl to the other plate, go in the door, climb a chain to the upper level, go back outside and push a block off the high ledge to use to replace the girl on the other plate. Then you go in the door and have to do some more climbing. Well, I missed a jump and died and it sent me all the way back to the couch, so I saidit. It probably didn't help that I had a raging headache at the time.
Am I the only one that gets motion sickness from the camera in that game?
True.It really depends on the game. For Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Burial At Sea, The Last of Us, Spec Ops, and even Deadly Premonition, the gameplay itself didn't floor me, but I immensely enjoyed their stories. I mean, come on, I'm not playing Pix the Cat because I want to know if there's a plot twist behind Pix's motivation for gathering baby chicks.
No because if/when he comes back we'll all have to break that habit again. Can't we just call him Jay now?
