Price-match an XB1 copy of Madden 15 to Amazon's $39.99 price while buying GCU for the $30 deal, take the game to your car and open it, walk back inside and trade in the game for $38 (I don't know if your GCU would be active that quickly so you could get the additional 10% for the trade).

Alternatively, the deal lasts through next week, so you could preorder Advanced Warfare in-store before its release and buy the GCU subscription when you pick up the game so you get the $30 deal so you get the $10 in points for preordering the game and "having" GCU.

Pulled trigger on Costume Quest 2, but it's not downloading. In the queue "Waiting". Maybe I have to update to 2.0 first. Not a big deal as I probably won't get a chance to play until Friday or this weekend anyway.

Not really, Roy Could have, but with the lockout hitting.. he decided to walk away. Brodeur has played horrible the last 4 years, compared to the previous years. Roy decided that he was done and didn't want to just continue playing for the heck of it... See Brett Favre, he kept playing just for the records, and honestly I feel that Brodeur did the same... You play long enough you get longevity records like wins, shutouts, etc...

Roy will always have 4 stanley cups and a record 3 con Smyths...

I am no hockey expert by any means (I am from FL for gods sakes!) but Brodeur had a great defensive team in front of him and I remember specifically that they held the Lightning a lot.  I forget the term but I think it held scoring down so much they outlawed the Devil's kind of defense.  Not a coincidence that they werent as good after that.

Wow Pharm, you know more than you think! Devils were coached by Jauqes Lemaire for a long time during Broduers time, he played an extremely boring trap defense that played to the strength of their big d-men like Scott Stevens and Scott neidermier... it is well known that that played a role

Roy took a bad Montreal team on his back as an 18 year old and single handedly won in an era that goalies didn't completely steal games due to small pads and bad technique...

He's still got that GAA and save % better than Roy. Longevity, especially when your not your best the last four years, can only hurt that. Maybe he was a product of the Devils neutral zone trap, but Lemair was only there for his first cup, which I believe was his second year in the league.

Thats right, that fuck ing trap defense was killing hockey and then the strike almost completely wiped it off the map. Hockey is the most exciting game to see live. Action is non stop and the speed is ridiculous. Football is still far and away the best sport ever, but I respect Hockey players the most due to the skill needed. I dont know how they even skate let along skate while doing the things they do.

haha, what a fake. nope, the moment they grab you i pause and reload my auto save. There is no way to release yourself from a grab without death. He must be playing on nightmare, but yeah you can't take any damage. boooo at him. Nice catch.

also I was called a nerd a bunch last night cuz I was showing off my final fantasy toys and someone posted a pic of solid snake saluting me. Then I had 2 sexy chix cock slobber knobber so their insults were moot.

I played some Stealth Inc. today on lunch. Fun little game so far. It's really easy to miss some stuff if you aren't paying complete attention to the environments. I got up to the 2nd set of levels.

When do you die after a grab? It looks like his NPC helper whacks the enemy after he has grabbed the player, but then he has a blood patch which looks like a hit which is weird.

Crossbow because that was a much more lethal weapon for its time. It was really at the top of its game for a long time before gunpowder was invented. It also still holds the record for most deaths caused.

You'll notice that the enemy threw him to the ground and that's where the damage to his health comes from--that should be when he dies, since Akumu = 1-hit-death mode and you don't take "damage" of any kind.

I wish I could call him out on that, but whatever.

It holds the record for most deaths caused because there was so much war and strife during that time. Really not fair to compare the two, I can just imagine what a shotgun would do if it played in crossbow's era.

just look at his life, he takes a substantial amount of damage and even stands still to regenerate, that doesn't happen ever on akumu, you get touched, you die.

I can't wait for rpg to tell us that the October games are on the "expiring" list even though we ALL know that those games will be expiring when the November games come out.
