Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon. 

(Also, I'd also recommend to check out Amazon's top 100 deals in Anime Bluray/DVD as they tend to show what's popular, or what is on sale.)

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

Got my sailor moon in today with no issues. The filler box had a small dent but it's not a huge issue since it will be gone once part 2 comes out.
 
For those of you that bought Maid-Sama or Dog & Scissors, Sentai/Right Stuf is offering an exchange program so that you can upgrade it to the new version with a dub. PS. You have to ship out your old copies to get new ones so I hope you aren't too attached to them.

Meh. I can sell the old DVD version for about $20 on eBay and Sentai Blu-rays go down to about $30-35 all the time. I'll pass.

 
For anybody that did not see, rightstuf's current studio sale is currently running a sale on all Kodansha, Del Rey, and Vertical titles until tomorrow night. Good time to stock up, as I know I have :)

 
Hopefully frys will lower the sub only release of dogs and scissors once the sun comes out. I liked the sub only dvd art because it looks nice and I want it in my collection. Hopefully it will become like $10 and then I'll buy the Bluray when it's like $20
 
My Naruto sets 6-7 came in today in pristine condition and I found set 8 for 7 bucks shipped on half.com. Halfway through collecting everything. 9-16 is all that remains.

If you are mybestbuy member they would've sent you a mystery coupon for a certain amount of dollars. i got a 5 dollar coupon. might use it to get the naruto movie triple pack so i don't have to buy it later.

Kinda expensive for upgrade. Just put old version on Ebay and pick up new version on blu-ray when it on sale :)

Thats awful and i just bought Dog & Scissors the weekend. Will still pass on it though, 18$ more is bleh, ill just wait for a frys sale and trade the old one away.

Some of the panels from the final Naruto leaked. Let's just say it paves way for a potential spin off a la GT. I know for sure that side stories are planned and the final movie is supposed to wrap up Shippuden. 

 
Thought i would note that there is a ebay seller named opgratitude (operation gratitude) he has been putting out new copies of Blood+ part 1 for 125$ BIN including shipping. considering the original msrp and the current selling prices for other auctions i considered this a deal. 

Note: there is no picture for the auction but a YouTuber named Credibility6 has a video up showing it's a legit sealed copy. If one gets sold another one is usually put up the next day, but there is no indication of the number remaining.

'Bout half way through Devil is a Part Timer now. While I am getting burned out on certain anime tropes, I definitely have to take my grumpy, analytical pants off and admit that it is funny as hell. I end up laughing through a majority of each episode. This has been a nice little surprise.

Am in the corner that it's more charming than funny(anime humor in general doesn't getting that many laughs out of me). Nothing against the show though.I should get around to watching the last half at some point.

You guys heard about that Amazon exclusive One Piece set? This is perfect for series newcomers like me... I've never seen an episode, and after hearing it is the #1 anime in Japan, I am ready to get started..

Hopefully it won't be near GT level bad. I wonder what direction Kishi will take this miniseries along.

It's a really great deal for quality episodes. The only problem that I have, which has essentially prevented me from collecting the One Piece anime is that the anime suffers in quality starting right after the Enies Lobby Arc. You can tell that the anime had caught up to the manga at that point, and a lot of the episodes just start to drag unnecessarily . I haven't watched the anime in a few years now but I do miss how watching the anime does bring alive a lot of the comedy in One Piece, which always puts a smile on my face.

Absolutely love the manga, though.

I've only ordered games from them. And they'll combine everything together--that can mean a long wait if your order includes pre-orders. The more you get in with a single order, the better deal they are because of shipping costs.

Just got these today, clover media came through with a mint new copy of Appleseed (although I wish it wasn't in a bubble mailer).

The order isn't reducing the shipping costs automatically, I'll give them a ring and see whats up. I'll update to let the people know who want to make a similar order how it went and what the cost was.

 
Ashlla I would wait for Monday mate. Chances are a lot of sellers are going to put the issue up on eBay. Right now they are auctioning off Monday's issue at about 15 bucks shipped. 

As for Naruto. The side stories won't hopefully be GT bad but they certainly leave it so that a new anime can occur. 

 
So the final copies of Gundam Seed and 08th MS Team finally came in. 

08TH MS was supposed to be delivered a week ago but somehow never made it on to a truck so it sat there in a post office even though it was marked as departed via tracking. Pristine condition for what I paid considering each volume runs about 20 bucks a pop. 

Seed Volume 7 was a library copy. Sticker on the insert came off easy. Stickers on the case even easier. There was a circle sticker on the disc that was more or less a security tag and was removed real easy. Only problem is there is actual writing on the outside of the disc near cover art. Not sure how to remove that. Any tips?

Also those One Piece collections with over 60 episodes make me want to get into One Piece solely if they continue doing them and not like Fairy Tail where we wait months on end. Although I doubt I'll see myself getting into Fairy Tail

Will do. The site I linked wants 32 bucks plus the cost of the issues (like 5 bucks each) for 3 copies of Monday's jump. HOpefully eBay on Monday will be cheaper

I was gonna use that site to but since it is a preorder I didn't want them to mess up my order by thinking its this weeks issue. eBay will most likely be cheaper. Shonen Jump is like toilet paper in Japan. It's everywhere. For us its so valuable but for them it is worthless. Many Japanese eBayers will list this not knowing the value or perhaps having read it realize there is no value because a new series will start or for whatever reason. Looking at eBay 15 shipped for one issue isn't bad. I'll probably want more but if I can only nab 1 issue then I'll be happy to read it, store it then frame it next to my first Shippuden issue

 
Been pounding away at the old backlog. Finished The Irresponsible Captain Tylor ovas which are a black mark on a great series. Poorly written and for the most part boring.And when it finally get's a little interesting it just ends. Finally got around to watching Redline which was just amazing. And then I recently started Tiger&Bunny which is really fun so far.

 
Goo be Gone took away all the stickiness. The writing on the disc will still remain. While very faint now I'm not going to chance stripping the amazing artwork that Gundam dvds possess. Now that my collection is complete I may collect the movies, however, first I need to get another copy of Volume 4 for the insert or at least find someone who is willing to part ways with the insert.

Edit: scratch that. not getting the movies. basically a retelling of everything i will watch with new scenes spliced in. unlike endless waltz which ends the series this is not something i'd buy unless i can't collect the actual series *cough cough* mobile suit gundam

Hate to double post but here is the lowdown

If you are looking to get the latest issue of Shonen Jump which includes the "final" chapter of Naruto then nipponyassan is your best bet. One issue shipped with the economy airmail w/ tracking and insurance comes out to 17 USD which is nothing compared to what eBay sellers are charging and will charge in the coming days. If you want to order more that will be a different story, however, if you're like me then one will suffice. I'm not looking to sell a copy. Just read, preserve, frame. 

Make sure that when you go on there and order a Shone Jump issue you use the additional comments section to put exactly this 

"I would like issue 50 of Shonen Jump the one that is releasing on November 10 this upcoming Monday with final Naruto manga in it"

That way you will get issue 50 releasing on November 10. The key is to hammer out Nov. 10, issue 50 and final Naruto in that message. Go ahead and copy and paste what I just put out.

This is your best bet if you want one issue at a decent price. It'll get here in 2-3 weeks, however, it can be sooner. I wouldn't pay for higher level shipping, however, I'm not any of you. If you pay for cheaper shipping 2-3 weeks turns into months. I did order something from eBay that listed the 2-3 weeks and it got here in 1 week.

Thanks for this, I ended up getting 2 copies, and my shipping ended up being 20$ (with tracking and insurance via airmail) The cheapest option was 17$ but that was uninsured and no tracking. Total was 30$.

glad i was able to help. i'll probably get another copy sometime later on an eBay auction. Yesterday someone walked out with the latest issue for 10 bucks on a bid

 
I ended up just ordering through nipponyassai for the peace of mind. 46 bucks for three copies and shipping with insurance/tracking number. Going to frame one and give to my bro for christmas, been a naruto fan for a long time.

Me too. I'm not even going to remove it from the wrap. Going to frame it alongside Shippuden 1 and an overall poster underneath. How are you going to go about framing it? Are you going to gut it or put the entire issue in there?
