So it looks like I might plat Hungry Horde in the next day or two and I'm on pace to be somewhere around the 5th to do it.  With the schedule I have I suppose I'll take it. 

It's ridiculous how rare these trophies are though.  It's kind of annoying to have all those trophies bump out my top five when I know they're going to tank before long.  Really surprised that only a few of you have even messed with it at all, but I see you've got [customspoiler='more important things to do.']

I'm surprised they're all so rare also. I've been enjoying playing Hungry Horde. I've only made it to night 3 so far, but the minigames have taken a big chunk of my time. Congrats on the upcoming plat.

I'll probably mess around with it a bit later on, sooner if the trophies stay as rare as they are now.

it's I think the only game I was interested in from ps+ this month, but new assassins creed today = logjam in the backlog (yuck!). precongrats though. feeling better these days?

I have seen almost nothing about this game other than the name. has there been a ton of prerelease hype that I've just missed? I assumed it wasn't coming out until 2015.

Maybe you were too focused on Unity, because I've seen articles for Inquisition here and there over the course of this year.

Last night while playing Advanced Warfare, I got the Genius trophy (Kill 4 enemies with a single Smart Grenade) in a pretty hilarious/awesome way: I saw a cluster of 4+ guys, threw the grenade and died a half-second later, and watched as the grenade flew in slow-motion towards the group, exploded, and the trophy notification popped up as my dying animation finished. :rofl:

 
Grabbing the rest of the credit I need to get inquisition on psn tonight when I pick up tales of hearts. Can't wait to preload this weekend, and then stare at the timer until Monday night. Have a feeling I might be using a sick day next week. Weather change, ya know?
 
Why is it that gamers get so pissy over day one dlc and other paid dlc thats "already on disc" yet no one seems to care that Disney and Skylanders are charging hundreds of dollars to play Infinity and Skylanders?

BestBuy Black Friday seems awesome. I might have to grab Shadows of Mordor/The Evil Within on ps4 at those prices, and skylanders trap team and disney infinity probly. I wish they were having b2g1f on trap team figures like they did last year with swap force.

also wasn't there a b2g1f last year on new games? awesome ad tho. I might have to get borderlands pre sequel for that price instead of waiting for complete edition...

You might be thinking of the coupon that GCU members got in their Welcome Packet last year that also stacked with Black Friday prices. Unfortunately, Best Buy killed off that coupon this year... :cry:

And hang on, does this mean you're finally getting a PS4...?

Yeah I am in for Mordor and Borderlands if they have it when I go later in the day (or I can get it online). Both for just under $48 with tax isn't too bad.

Those are the 3 im eyeing, gonna try and get online, F going to the store and getting items in 5 mins and then taking over 1 hour to checkout.

Infamous for 15.99 is crazy, great deal on a great game. Picking up to keep, I beat the game on evil already but never went back to play again as good.

That ass creed bundle at 329.99 is pretty good value for people looking for xbone. I have no desire to buy one but MS is going for it this holiday. That GTA V and last of us bundle is really good too, both are great, but at this point a LOT of people have played one or both.

Target has the better deal on that bundle with the additional $50 GC attached.

I still can't really justify buying one, though.

 
I wonder why there aren't any AC: Unity or Rogue reviews up yet... :whistle2:k

EDIT: Looks like Ubisoft's embargo ends at 12pm EST. Are they giving people time to buy copies and open them to play so they can't return them? Gamespot didn't get a review copy of Rogue, which leads me to believe Ubisoft isn't all that confident in it.

Being from South GA, I assume the answer is no, but do you have relatives in the Midwest?

Looks like Meijer has the best deal and you can also pick a LBP3 and Lego Batman 3 bundle instead of that one that is everywhere else if you prefer it.

Maybe next year. But I am definitely not interested at this time. Really nothing I need to play on XBone one now. A few games I would check out for sure but none that make me want to spend $330 plus tax. Plus then paying for Gold again (although the Target $50 GC would cover that). And then probably $25 - $30 on a cheap mic. Still a nice deal for those wanting one this year.

In terms of technical execution, [Assassin's Creed: Unity] is an utter shambles on PS4 -- I can't speak first-hand regarding other versions. Glitches abound, responsiveness is laughable, the context-sensitive detection areas around interactive objects like key mission items and reward chests are patchy and inconsistent. The crowds are impressive, the game does a fine job of creating a visually engaging representation of Paris, but the framerate is horrible. Lengthy jumps see Arno hang in the air, crippling slowdown is everywhere (especially if you get into cover), and although the free-running repertoire and animation sets have been massively expanded, its not uncommon to see the framerate juddering down below the 15 fps mark.
At one point, I thought the whole game was going to crash, Arno pirouetting about in clunky slow-motion that certainly hadn't been triggered deliberately.

Pop-in is also a problem, especially when it comes to transitioning between indoor environments and the outdoors. Rooms will occasionally only reveal a back wall as you're climbing in the through the window, and its not uncommon for a building only a street or two away to seemingly materialise out of thin air.

It's a fun game but definitely has a few hiccups... I think I'm enjoying it as much as i am just because it's a change of pace. And yeah, feeling much better after borrowing a friends tens unit, thanks for asking. There's an older lady at work that we always have to wait on because she's so slow and she was sooooooo giddy that someone was actually moving slower than her for a change. She was upset when I showed up at work tonight back to walking normal and didn't understand why I couldn't just stay that way forever.

It is possible they stay that rare. Quirky games on Plus many times get started by people and just forgotten. This seems to be especially true of games on the Vita. If you look back at games historically on Vita that were part of Plus many have insanely rare trophies even if the games are not considered all that hard.

Not worth the hassle.

They're giving away all sorts of stuff at the Christmas party at work, so I may just wait. I think the only gaming console will be a X360, but if I end up with that I could always trade it towards a PS4. Also lots of gift cards given away, and a few TVs.

I'm sure I'll end up with a Crock pot.

I still have a crochet set I won at the Giftmas party at my office last year in the trunk of my car. Yes, a fucking crochet set! I would have actually used a crock pot.

Yeah I can't really complain about the items they give away, most of it is really good stuff. I got a George Foreman grill the first year I was here, a pretty big one too.

You also get to spin a wheel for a cash prize in addition to the gift. Guaranteed at least $10, with chances to win up to $250. Great food too. I look forward to it each year.

This is the very reason I didn't want to wait. I just don't see it going that low now that it's pretty much required for PS4. I think $40 will be the absolute lowest we'll see it.

I hope we don't see that for a while. I want buy a year get 3 months free to come back instead. Then after I redeem all the ones I have waiting then let the price drop again :)

My run was a joke much like Munky's. I haven't spelunkied in quite awhile and went in totally cold. I ran to the left and was being super cautious (a lot more than ususal) and went back to the right without holding the run button so basically jumped right into spikes. It was epic. To make matters worse I ended up with $500. Hopefully I fare better tonight. I really really like the replays function and I'm sort of inspired to go back to the game a bit, 1. because it's great and 2. I never did the hell run or any of that.

Think that ship has sailed. Has been over a year since the last time they did that.

Would be awesome though, I still have 2 more cards I havent redeemed hoping for the same as you.
