Sorry, we aren't all parasites that just leach money from the state and our parents.  Some of us actually work and money has a real meaning for us, we don't just blindly spend it on games we'll never play and other stupid shit.

I'll obviously give it away if nobody wants to pay a buck for it.  You must have missed my post in the PSN code drop thread where I did exactly that with some other codes.

Supposedly Pinball Arcade season 2 will be out for PS4 soon (it was submitted, so not sure what that translates into) and season 3 bundle is available now for Vita/PS4. So I have something to spend my $50 (for $40) PSN monies on!

Frisky told me there's no discount for people who already own season 2 on PS3. fuck Farside so hard.
 
So DMX was a no show. Mind you, this is an outside venue and it was cold as shit here last night. What gets me is how the promoter didn't say anything until after both opening acts had already performed. There's no way they didn't know since he missed his fucking flight 3 hours before -__-. So I was sad.

But (and don't hate me anymore than you already do for this), I texted that Taco Bell number on a whim this morning...and won. I shit you not. Weird. So I'm no longer sad. Next round of Fruitistas on me.

Congrats! Though that you went to a DMX concert really means that you still lose even if he didn't show.

I forgot to lose this morning. Just got that out of the way, though!

Yeah they announced there won't be Season 2 discount.

Farside is the fucking worst. They do a good job on their pinball tables but they absolutely suck at everything else.

Love that the MS tables still aren't out either.

I kept forgetting to start my download the past couple days so I'm behind. I'm hoping once I pick up my pre-order Tuesday night I'll be able to just start playing since it'll already be installed.

For the Spelunky challenge, why don't people just take a screenshot of their score/the daily leaderboard and we do it that way? I can see some other people's scores to verify they weren't lying. The leaderboard doesn't show me anymore but I had a good run for 11/15:
Basically, this should count and I should be beating Ninja and Zimm :p

The problem is that people are seeing leaderboard scores that don't match what other people claim they got. So for this to work every person has to take a SS of their score. Too much of a pain in the ass IMO.

That'd be all fine and good if that was actually my score you're seeing. When I looked this morning that score was there before I even did my run, and remained there after I finished.

I should have got in this Spelunky contest just so that way if I did as bad as I think I would have I could have said it was because of the glitch :D
 
But guys, what Cleaner is saying makes sense. When you finish the run, it shows your actual score on the leaderboard, it only disappears when you exit and come back. Each person could take a screenshot as soon as they finish. Obviously you're not going to use this for other people's scores, dummies, just your own.

But this makes so many problems:

- If you forget to take that screenshot, you're screwed.

- This thread would just be spammed with stupid Spelunky screenshots.

- Crunch/Tyler would have to go screenshot by screenshot to record scores.

Such a pain in the ass.

I thought that would work, but when I got to the leaderboard right after playing, it still showed my bogus (and in this case higher) score, not the one I just made. So it's not fullproof.

 
our friends finally uploaded this picture from last night. i love when theaters have fun stuff like this. they had a stand of the dumb and dumber car, and the windshield was open so you could put your face in it. they had it against the wall though, and got pissy when we asked if we could move it out to take pictures.

It doesn't even always work that way, as I just noted. My score did not show correctly in the leaderboard even right after I played it.

I have a feeling we'll be waiting for a bug fix before we can resume (as opposed to a server issue), but we'll see what happens after the scheduled PSN maintenance on Monday.

I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Seriously though, at this point I'd prefer to just reboot the contest entirely when the leaderboards are back to working. That way, whoever was late to the party can start properly and it'll have given the novice division folks a chance to familiarize themselves with the game a bit more.

EDIT: Dammit, ninja'd by ugly, hehe

Just came back from food shopping with my mum. I bagged for the cute cashier girl and she said thanks for bagging and i said sure no problem. She didnt smile at me so i guess thats a no go. Oh well.

But seriously, why should we scrap the first several days? There was nothing wrong with those days. We can always do this tournament again (and I'd definitely be in favor of it!)

Yeah, maps seem to matter so try messing around with the date on your vita to get new areas. There's also something else that affects which enemy types are spawned but I'm not sure if it's the size of your horde or which day you're on, since later days I always have a maxed out horde... not really a whole lot of info out there on this game atm.
