Well, not really interested in the Hitman trilogy for December. I never even played that Hitman game they gave us free (last year?)

Nice to get actually full retail games though.

Vita's offerings seem a little weak though. I'll add the PS4 ones for my library for the unlikely event I ever upgrade.

so anyone trying to snag an ac unity season pass voucher from amazon or bby to try and get far cry 4 for $20/$25 whatever it is?

I'm waiting on the same thing. I'll probably grab rivals complete on ps4 from gamestop(unless bb pops up with it), and that's all for me this year.

More importantly, are you gonna post the thread in the deals forum? If it hasn't been already.

I'd check our shelves, but we don't sell dlc. I imagine other places will get the memo before I get off work.
 
The South Park game is coming up as an Amazon lightning deal at 3:10. No clue as to what it'll cost, but my guess is they'll match Walmart's $25 price.

Stick of Truth? I got it for $20 from Amazon not that long ago. It actually only cost me about $16 after tax and a free bing rewards $5 amazon credit.

I can't believe that (almost) year old last generation games are still going for this much. I can't justify paying much more than $10 for a PS3 game at this point.

There's still a gazillion ps3s out there and money to be made, no reason for fire sales yet. Same with the Wii and PSP (at least at target). Once the ps4 is 3 years in things will probably start looking cheaper.

Yeah, but I can understand his point. 25 for south park when games like mordor, redux, second son, ect are 20-25.
 
My trophy card reminds me, so glad I bought hot pursuit. Remembered why I loved the game as soon as I got into a race. Autolog has picked Zimm to be my rival, even though he's 4-5th on every race so far(5-6th now, haha).

While it may be a load of shit, all reports I have seen are that the move to this gen has been faster than pretty much any other generation switch in history. Aren't the PS4 versions outselling the corresponding PS3 versions on all the cross-generation stuff? You may have a point with the Wii, but the 360 and PS3 seem to be circling the irrelevance drain much faster than I expected.

If the vast majority of our cheap asses already have PS4s, I am guessing those stories are true.

The vanilla versions of both Fallouts played fine for me. It's the GOTY/UE ones that have acted up. 3 had a way around it (basically load up your game, install it, then once you get in the open world pause the game and let it sit for an hour or so. Guess it loads most/all of the textures and stuff), but New Vegas may not.

 
Actually with the switch to PS4 happening so quickly I expect that companies will drop game prices for PS3 even faster to grab customers while they can. Existing PS3s aren't going to just disappear, but the people that run out and buy games upon release are fast moving on to another system to do that with. I think we've got a few years before everybody is over, though, and it'll be a while before PS3 games quit being made.

Now if they'd managed to pull off a functional backwards compatibility...well, I'd already have a PS4.

all the absurdity and number of playthroughs of the evil within trophies only tighter and more annoying sounding. I'll bet the difficulty trophies don't even stack. maybe someone will figure out a way to get all of those trophies in one easy run, but right now it looks awful enough to knock me off the fence on to the side of 'no buy for now'. which is weird, since most resident evil games are day one for me. I guess I always hated the original though.

While the PS4s and Xbones have moved quickly, the better games are still on last gen consoles. A lot of the big releases on the PS4 and Xbone so far have either been remakes, buggy, glitchy, and/or broken, leading to disappointment and anger.

Are you guys sure that South Park deal isn't for tomorrow? Amazon usually lists their lightning deals in order of when they're going to occur, and it's listed after all the ones that are scheduled for 8AM tomorrow.

in all honesty a lot of my favorite stuff so far this gen has been 'big indie' stuff - resogun, oddworld, evil within (depending on whether or not you give it to tango or bethesda I guess). they're the new mid-tier between AAA and the dumpster and it's pretty rad.

Could be now that I look at it more. In the past, they wouldn't post the new stuff until the day rolls over.

 
In regards to the Season Passes being in stores, one they're $30 so I would rather wait for Far Cry 4 to be less than that, probably in a few months.  Two, while you might see the cards still in store, it wouldn't surprise me if the SKU gets marked as not for sale like Target does with clearance items after they fall out of the inventory system.  They've already been delisted on gamestop and Best Buy.
