Took another ~15 tries to knock out the end boss of Natural Doctrine without losing anybody. Would have been 5 if the game wasn't super cheap and hadn't fucked me over in a bullshit way by giving an enemy unit a turn when it wasn't supposed to have one.

Still, nice to get it done.

 
fuck yes! Got that Spelunky plat! 7:25 was my speedlunky time.

Choked like a little bitch on olmec after a run where I had a shotgun, cape, compass, and 18 bombs.

about 5 runs later, had a mattock and one heart by the jungle. made it to olmec with 6 bombs (no mattock) and somehow pulled it off. it was amazing! wish I was on ps4 so I could have recorded it.

Zimm, did you play any legit MP games of ND? I'm in one now. Took no time to get a game going, but damn it's slow to play. Plus this asshole brought out a S- deck against the C+ deck I started with. Jerk.

 
that was fun. got a little nervous towards the end, especially since i had an obnoxious falcons fan at the table next to me. at least i think he was a falcons fan. he didn't have any gear on, and clapped whenever the falcons had a good play. i also beat him for the waitress' number, which he asked for and i didn't. so, i pretty much felt like i did him like the gif below(i'd be lacy of course, cause i'm a man) the tacos were pretty awesome too. here's the pic i said i would get the other day(my photographer sucked)

Yeah, I should have told her I'd paint her picture then she would have abandoned her job at the airport and we could have joined the mile high club together. Airplane employees get cheap tickets, right? Win, win.

Plane landed and baggage acquired. I'm on my way home. Yay! Then I'm going the fuck to sleep. I have work at 6:30am. Boo! Luckily it's only a 3 day work week. I just got a new supervisor too that I'm supposed to meet. She's super hot too. Dang, that burlesque show must have my mind in a frenzy. Now that Tyler outed me I can be my pervy self like all you guys. Just kidding. I won't get explicit.

The Ultimate NES Remix on the 3DS is pretty damn fun and addicting.  It seems when I think I unlocked all the different games they throw another series w/ challenges.  The levels are really short and it provides a great game to pick up and play in short sessions.  I know I love Sony but damn I've been playing my 3DS most of the day.  The online leaderboards are a nice addition and I'm always retrying levels to get a better time.

Job well done Nintendo!

Always took forever for me to get a MP game going. I think I played one legit one and got my ass kicked. Played one legit co-op one as well and we collectively got our ass kicked. No Bueno.

Congrats on toughing out the rest of the game though. Can't imagine the mental drain of all that pointless moving.

Turns out Final Horizon wouldn't have made too bad of a December TiT game after all. Just polished off the plat after starting it yesterday afternoon. I saw rpg got it a couple days before also. So since he's not around anymore, I'm going to call myself the biggest & best TiT in the land for the rest of the month. I'm sure my wife will agree.

Just saw a code for a free Famicom theme for the 3DS. The code was on the inside artwork left side and the CN code was on the right side.

Nintendo just made this purchase even better.

It's ok. I'm not a huge TD fan either. It's not overly complex like some of them. Can only place units on pre-determined spots in the map, and there's only five total weapons to pick from, most with only one upgrade. The bug thing is a little boring to me, but the game as a whole held my interest for a piece. Story is forgettable. But yeah. Not your typical TD game. I've played worse games.

Few more hours until we can inundate the thread with new, unintelligible Destiny babble. I was tempted to stay awake and play as soon as it launched but I know I'd regret it. Need my sleep, unfortunately. Tonight...Crota's ass will be mine doe.

Got a completed Thorn bounty burning a hole in my pocket. First thing I'll do is turn that in. Got all my factions right at the edge of the next level so I'll finish those off as well. Hopefully get some new gear. Then the raid. Too bad there's no new trophies (the one time I actually care), but I still got Flawless to work toward. Until tomorrow, fellow Guardians lol.

Figured I'd play a little CoD since I took some time away from Destiny last week. And you know what? It's actually pretty good. The multiplayer was a mess during launch week but now it seems to be under control. No more sparatic teleporting. And the campaign isn't too shabby either. I actually like the story. Kevin Spacey didn't just phone in (take notes, Dinklage).

So glad I got those Golds, btw. Say what you will about CoD, but the sound design is impeccable. Never noticed before now. I honestly think it's some of the best I've heard.

I'm kinda happy there's no new Destiny trophies.  It means I only have to experience the content once to be content.  I'm gonna start a Titan, go through the original story and then play the DLC missions with him to hopefully max him out.  Hopefully we can get Flawless done this week and then I can finally move on from this game until the second expansion comes out.

 
Maybe it's just the tequila talking but there are many games I was planning on replaying only to get the trophies on my new name.  What a dumb reason.  Time to cut down my PS3 backlog.

 
Holy shit, first chest in the raid has a chance for an exotic.

No new trophies suck.

They made the nightfall the new strike, so people who don't have the DLC are pissed. Also, how am I supposed to solo a strike if I don't know how to do it the cheesy way yet? God damn it, bungie!

But what I watched on the raid this morning looks pretty cool. Like DCJ said, a ton of people streaming and most of them are stuck on the last boss.
 
I got on for a few mins this morning too.

The vendors new stuff only requires commedations for chests and helmets, so not terrible.

FWC on my titan has the SAME weapons and armor, but higher level. All weaps require a commendation for both faction and vanguard. So only thing that doesnt is legs and arms armor. Bought leg piece from vanguard, need a few crucible marks and ill buy arms from FWC, should get me over 30 when those are maxed.

Played the first mission, wasnt too bad, end is a knight. First mission hard mode is level 28, second mission is 30, and my guess is rest after are 30 as well for hard. 

Locked out of weekly and nightfall until you get so far in new missions kinda blows, but daily is still fair game, even if the top level is now 30 which is annoying.

got a blue engram on the first mission, turned it in and got a legendary sniper with arc damage. perks were meh but hey its at the new attack cap. 

The fwc package i had at post office gave old rewards, same for engram I kept. Oh well.

If you have the expansion, getting a couple of the new armor pieces should get you to 30. They are +6 more light when maxed over old gear (old is 27, new is 33)

exotic, plus two new, plus one old, all maxed gets you 123.

Kilik, I'm not able to get on, but are the arms and legs still only 65 marks? If so, that's pretty cool. A little grinding on rep for two commendations could mean 31 by the end of the week.

No, 75. I didnt pay attention to cost of helmets and chests as they required commendations. 75 marks for those is not terrible, only 10 more and 10 marks are easy to get really.

Weapons were still 150.

Vanguard vendors and faction vendors. Arms and legs are just marks, but chest and helmets require commendations which you get from gaining new rep levels. But if you have an exotic helmet or chest piece, just the arms and legs will get you to a little over 30.

Now that I think about it, my guess is helmets and chests are same price for marks since they require commendations. Weaps were same # of marks and required that to buy those. Just raised legs and arms price as they didnt require those to get commendations to purchase. So chests are prolly still 65 and helmets are 120.

RPG sent me a PSN message last night asking if I needed help with Dead Nation.  Pretty sure he means he needs help with it.  I could be wrong though.

fuck, am I understanding this right? Chests and helmets require marks AND commendations? That's dumb if so. I have 157 marks on one warlock and need arms, boots, and chest. On my other I have 115 and need helmet, arms, and boots.

Warlock 1: 257 marks by the end of the week. Need probably 225 to get the gear I want and one commendation.
Warlock 2: 215 marks by the end of the week. Need 270 to get the gear I want.

Yeah, and I would absolutley help him with one co op trophy I will need after finishing the story with Chewy. If Chewy doesnt want to do it that is. But thats it. He would have to find another partner to do the entire story with.

If he hadnt shown a propensity to be selfish in the past I would probably feel differently and play it again with him.

 
Whats the best way to get vanguard rep? Bounties or strikes?

Dlc isnt bad, just more the same shit but its cool. I like that i can just buy materials now instead of farming. Glad i waited 3 months

I'm going to try to knock out the "easy" MP trailers in Natural Doctrine tonight. Hopefully games will be available. There's not much to the requirements, but when I have a C-rank deck and go up against S-rank decks I'm not sure how I'm supposed to win any matches. I'm really not a fan of MP-heavy trophy lists. There's three golds in ND and two of them are from MP. 1/3 of the trophies for the game are for MP. For a sRPG that's pretty ridiculous.
