I think the Thor movies are the worst in regards to the MCU. They should add more Idris Elba to fix their lack of an interesting lead.

You cannot press the o button the entire level, not just counter. That means no teleport at all. It is a troll trophy since the name is a reference to how long it will take to to the level that way. I actually need to go back and finish the last few trophies for the plat. I am at the final part on the hardest difficulty and man is it cheap.

First one was bad, second wasnt that bad.

Im watching agents of shield, but havent watched last nights yet, will prolly get to it tonight if I dont waste all my free time on destiny.

Agents started out meh, got really bad, then finished a little better toward the end of season 1. Season 2 though has all been great so far.

Cap 2 is gangsta, better than Guardians imo. Winter Soldier dude is bad ass, kinda like the Terminator. Plus Scar Jo tight ass spandex, i could watch that all day  :drool:

If you press Circle at all for any reason during the entire level, it will invalidate it. It is not just for counter moves. I want to say I used circle once to open one of those chests and it invalidated it. It is that picky.

I think Gator was referring to how Zimm will have to play the entire game on Hard for a different trophy and that for the sake of Zimm's sanity, he shouldn't try to get the no-counter/circle button trophy for the prison level in that playthrough because the final level is hellish enough.

You'd be surprised. Jumping in and out of burnout online this morning I probably saw 30-40 different people in the course of half an hour. Street Fighter 4 is still pretty populated. This morning I even picked up a few injustice ranked matches when I couldn't get any for the past two nights. AC unity coop was pretty easy to jump in to too, but that's pretty new. The burnout stuff surprised me for sure.

Yeah, I just remembered it was not the final level because I didnt recall any chests in there. I think there was a point in that level where you had to blow up some barrels to make a hole in the wall and a chest was right after it. That was what screwed me up even after not teleporting over the sludge.

I was, but I also had my levels mixed up. I still would not try it on hard. If it were the last level on hard, yeah... fuck that.

There was my problem. Teleported once on purpose trying not to land in the toxic river and once by accident just before the boss fight. Sonsabitches. I thought maybe it was because I kept XMB exiting when I fell in the toxic river. Now that that is out of the way now, I can avoid the Portal button with a vengeance. And yeah I might save that to do on easy level once I finish my hard playthrough. I have quite a few level specific trophies that I missed/was unaware of at the time, but shouldn't be too bad in hard.

That boss fucker I was dumb with because I kept trying to just hammer his ass. Finally watched a video where a dude gunned his ass on the first grenade and he was done immediatly. Not sure if that was on easy or just overpowered guns I didn't have yet or not, but once I switched to mainly shooting while he's stunned, it went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

 
Oh yeah pete, your message about needing to get kik back didn't show up until I turned on my PS3 for my kid last night. Hit me up if you do get it, that really would make the Injustice stuff go smoother.

I thought you guys were exaggerating about the PS4 messaging, but it really does suck that bad.

It varies, but I usually use attack/homing when I'm learning a level or collect/black hole when I'm going for score. I just learned about the joy of a fully upgraded turret last night so that might find its way in to my repertoire.

Eh. Spoilers don't bother me at all, either. I don't read books as much lately, but I used to read the book description and then skim the last few pages before deciding to buy a book. The ending doesn't really have any relevance without the context of the rest of the book, so I'd forget it pretty quickly or not understand what was going on, but it was still enough to see whether the book description was accurate. I started doing this after I got burned on a couple of books that sold themselves completely different from what they were actually about.

I've already posted about the two CA movies. Neither is very good. The first has a fantastic actor playing the villain and they absolutely waste him. Both movies start out well like they're focusing on characterization and then throw all that out the window in favor of boring fights that don't really feel important and end in ways that don't make sense.

I can't process this thinking at all. A co-worker spoiled the end of TWD Season 1 for me and I had to fight the strong urge to punch him in the face. How can that not bother you?

You expect superhero shows/movies to be something they are not, so of course they disappoint you.

 
I do agree about Thor, by the way. The first movie's transformation of Thor character was so incredibly bad. Here, I'll summarize it.

Thor: I am a god! I'm always right, and it is my right to be an asshole!

Thor: I am a humble, kind warrior!

Just how hard did he hit his head in that landing, anyway?

I enjoyed the first Thor for what it was. It wasn't the best movie ever, but it was pretty much what I expected it to be.

I'm sure I could sit down and pick it apart in order to make myself hate it too, though.

That's not the problem. Both movies clearly start out focusing on characterization and then a half hour or so into each they throw that out the window and just become poorly-done action movies. If they want to be action movies, that's fine--there are some really good action movies that don't attempt to be about characterization. But the CA movies focus neither on good characterization nor good action and become mediocre from a lack of focus in the writing and direction.

So what I'm understanding, by your rationale, any movie/show that isn't completely focused on developing the characters is complete & utter shit? So something like The Matrix, which was focused on action and innovative new special effects technology instead of the characters, was no good to you?

I generally like some story to go with the Special effects. Not sure why they can't include a story in a big production blockbuster to go along with the latest and greatest special effects.
